SATURDAY, JANUARY 4, 2020

BE CONSTANT IN PRAYER

BIBLE READING: ROMANS 12:1-12

Then God said, “Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over the cattle, over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.” Gen. 1:26 (NKJV).

To function effectively in the Dominion Mandate, one must bear in mind constantly that he lives in two worlds; first, the spiritual world; and second, the physical world. What happens in the physical world is first determined in the spiritual world. The tool Christians apply to shape or influence the events on earth is prayer. “The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much” (James 5:16 KJV).

Dr Myles Munroe defined prayer as: Earthly licence for heavenly interference.This implies that God can do nothing on the earth without the cooperation of mankind. Any influence or interference from the supernatural realm on earth is only legal through mankind. Your pathway to the great accomplishments you have purposed for this year will be charted in the place of prayer. Your protection, your sanctification, your wisdom and your faithfulness in stewardship will all be sorted out in the place of prayer. What then does this demand of us? “Be constant in prayer” even as advocated in Romans 12:12.

Rick Warren lends a voice to this advocacy; “The more you pray, the less you will panic. The more you worship, the less you worry. You will feel more patient and less pressured.” Resolve firmly this beginning of the year to shape the outcome of the rest of the year through constant, fervent and effectual prayers. Join the prayers and fasting in your local church in this season, and programme the rest of your year in advance.

PRAYER POINTS:
Pray that the anointing for effective prayer will come upon you and your household.

Ask that fresh dew from heaven will revive the prayer life of members of your local assembly.

Pray that God’s hands will rest upon your spiritual leaders; also pray for the political leaders in your State and Nation.

CONFESSION:
The fire upon my altar will not go dim. I will pray effective and fervent prayers without ceasing.

MONDAY, DECEMBER 16, 2019

*LESSONS FROM THE VERY FIRST CHRISTMAS*

*BIBLE READING: LUKE 1:26-38*

*“Then Mary said, “Behold the maidservant of the Lord! Let it be to me according to your word.” And the angel departed from her.” Luke‬ ‭1:38‬ ‭NKJV‬‬*

Consider Mary on that very first Christmas, she was a single girl, about to be married and she had her future ahead of her. All of sudden an angel appears and tells her she is about to be pregnant and give birth to the messiah.

What was running through her mind at that time? If she was to be married to Joseph, what was his reaction going to be when he discovered that his wife to be was pregnant? Did she consider that the best that could happen was that Joseph would call off the marriage and that he could denounce her? What were her parents going to say, and what about her reputation in the town? She was going to be seen as an adulteress. Did she stop to consider the consequences of a pregnancy outside wedlock? She lived in a society where adultery was punished by stoning to death, yet here was this angel telling her she was about to be sentenced to death. What was she thinking?

Mary’s response was that of submitting and yielding to God’s will and purpose, trusting that God who had the plan would see her through and work it out completely, and He did. When God gives you a word, irrespective of what you think, you must learn to trust Him and yield to His plans and purposes. Mary yielded to God and became the mother of the saviour of the world. All the fears and worries of what could go wrong were taken care of by God. In the same way, if God has spoken, trust Him and hold unto His word in faith and all the things you were afraid of will fall into place and God’s ultimate purpose will be done in your life.

*Father I apologise and repent from doubting your word. I receive Grace to believe you at all times in Jesus name, amen.*

*WHY YOU MUST WIN SOULS*

Soul winning is a deliberate act of leading someone to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ.

It is an intentional act and the only commission Jesus left for the church.

Any other thing is second to it. When we have done every other thing ; sermon, programs, praise and deep worship, the bottom line is how many souls were won to Christ.

📖 The Bible said ;
" Those who are wise will shine as bright as the sky, and those who lead many to righteousness will shine like the stars forever." Daniel 12v13

*1. Its a command*
Mark 16:15-16
[15]And then he told them, “Go into all the world and preach the Good News to everyone.
[16]Anyone who believes and is baptized will be saved. But anyone who refuses to believe will be condemned.

The reason why you are alive is for the salvation of souls. Its your duty to win souls just like the reason why a marketer is given a car is for marketing and bringing customers to patronize the business.

*2. Any soul that is not saved will be damned.*
Don't be ashamed to preach the gospel.
John 3:16-18
[16]“For this is how God loved the world: He gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life.
[17]God sent his Son into the world not to judge the world, but to save the world through him.
[18]“There is no judgment against anyone who believes in him. But anyone who does not believe in him has already been judged for not believing in God’s one and only Son.

*3. God will require the souls of the people around you.*
Your life is the gospel people see.
You must live your life in a way that will draw people to God.

1 Peter 3
[1]In the same way, you wives must accept the authority of your husbands. Then, even if some refuse to obey the Good News, your godly lives will speak to them without any words.
They will be won over

when they see you show kindness, integrity, self control etc they will believe in your message.
The best way to win your close relations and neighbors is by your way of life.

Your behavior is one of the greatest gospel you can preach to your close ones.

*4. It is the condition for you to reign with Jesus in the life to come.*
Revelation 22
[12]“Look, I am coming soon, bringing my reward with me to repay all people according to their deeds.
22:14 Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city. Revelation

*5. Its the heart beat of God.*
2Peter 3:9 The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.

*6. It determines how long you will live on earth*.
Luke 13:7
13:7 Then said he unto the dresser of his vineyard, Behold, these three years I come seeking fruit on this fig tree, and find none: cut it down; why cumbereth it the ground?

*7. Its the greatest key to answered prayer.*
John 15:16 Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye shouldq go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you.

*KEYS TO MULTIPLICATION 2 (WINNING WITH OTHERS)*

BIBLE READING: ZACH 8-14

*And the child Samuel grew on, and was in favour both with the LORD, and also with men.*

To be a Joseph, Esther or a Daniel is not about what you can accomplish all by yourself. There is no God given vison that can be accomplished in isolation of others, therefore one key requirement of wining in the political or economic terrain is the ability to network with others especially those who are not part of your team. To succeed in life you must be able to translate your power with God into power with men.

The bible records that the child Samuel grew on, and was in favour both with the LORD, and also with men 1Sam 2:26. You will need to leverage the expertise, connections and wisdom of others if you will be at the top. The same way God uses men in order to accomplish his plans and purposes, we must also learn how to tap into the latent power in relationships.

According to the Dominion Mandate, The first level of prosperity is you being fruitful. At this point you have something you are very good at; a service or product which you offer to others in exchange for material wealth. However, if you remain at that level you will never cross certain thresholds.

In order to step into the realm of multiplication, you must grow into becoming a leader by investing in others and getting them to do what you used to do alone. This way you have set in motion a principle for multiplication.
How should one chase a thousand, and two put ten thousand to flight, except their Rock had sold them, and the LORD had shut them up? Deut 32:20.

The moment you can pour your knowledge, wisdom, expertise, anointing etc., into others and get them to do the same thing or even better, multiplication is activated. Jesus started with 12 men when He came to fulfil His Fathers mandate. You cannot multiply prosperity without investing in others.

The man who spends more time making men will eventually become more prosperous than the one who spends time making money. In the day of battle the Bible said,Abraham went to war with the servants he had trained in his house.
Who are you training today? Who are you investing in now?

You do not only need divine connection with God to succeed but you need others as well. There are positions you cannot attain just with competence until you prove the ability to manage other people and bring the best out of them.

*Father help me identify potentials in others and to trust and teach them also that I may step into the realm of multiplication. Amen*

*FAITH FOR FINANCES*

*BIBLE READING: DEUT. 28:12-13*

*“And you shall remember the LORD your God, for it is He who gives you power to get wealth, that He may establish His covenant which He swore to your fathers, as it is this day.” ‭‭Deuteronomy‬ ‭8:18‬ (NKJV)*

Everything we get in the kingdom, we get by faith. Jesus' death on the cross purchased for us, all we would ever require for life and godliness, but to access them, we need faith. Rom. 10:17(NKJV) says, *“So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.”* This means that to get faith to access a specific blessing, we must hear again and again, and internalize God’s word concerning that particular thing we need.

The more we hear and study God’s word concerning finances, the more our faith for finance increases. I have just released a book titled *‘Building a Word Foundation’.* There’s a section in that book that gives Bible quotations on finances that can be memorized and internalized. Get the book, and study the word and develop your faith for finances.

As you study these scriptures, you will find that some of them outline the principles for financial increase. Faith calls the things that be not as though they were. As you develop faith for finances, you will notice your confession and declaration will change. According to Romans 10:9-10, When faith enters your heart, it will reflect in what comes out of your mouth. *With the heart man believes, with the mouth confession is made.....”*

You might not have the cash today, but faith will override that condition and your declaration will be different. When you walk by faith statements like *“I have no money”* will cease from your vocabulary. Start calling yourself what God calls you. Abraham the father of faith was a rich man like Isaac and Jacob his sons.

In this season of harvest, study and boost your faith for finances, Follow the principles outlined in scripture prayerfully and you will definitely receive your financial harvest in Jesus name.

*Pick some of the scriptures that speak to you being rich and declare them loudly over yourself. 2 Cor. 8:9 etc*

*LEGAL BASIS FOR OUR PROSPERITY*

*BIBLE READING: MATT. 5; REV. 3*

*For ye know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that, though he was rich, yet for your sakes he became poor, that ye through his poverty might be rich 2Cor. 8:9*

Redemption is not just a religious term, it is also a very strong legal term. It means to gain or regain possession of something. Until you have a revelation and understanding of the first Adam, you might not understand fully the concept of redemption.

God's plan of redemption covers EVERYTHING that man lost including the abundance he was created into. The first Adam was created into wealth. Like the son of an extremely wealthy man, stupendous wealth was bequeathed to him. His home was made by God, all the resources needed put inside of that home God called Garden of Eden. The first man lived on a massive property probably the size of a city because the Garden of Eden had four rivers. Just imagine a landmass that would accommodate four rivers what it would look like. The first man was created into affluence. When he sinned and lost that estate in addition to his relationship with God amongst several other things, poverty set in.

As part of the punishment for mankind God placed a curse on the land; *“Thorns also and thistles shall it bring forth to thee; and thou shalt eat the herb of the field; In the sweat of thy face shalt thou eat bread, till thou return unto the ground; for out of it wast thou taken: for dust thou art, and unto dust shalt thou return Gen3:18-19.* This curse plunged man into the bo***ge of poverty until God sent His Son, Christ Jesus in the flesh to come and redeem mankind from sin and all its consequences. The actions of Christ provides a legal basis for our prosperity.

In dying for us, Jesus Christ had to wear a crown of thorns as our substitute and the moment the blood from the piercing of His head touched the earth, the curse God placed on the earth was lifted. *“And when they had platted a crown of thorns, they put it upon his head, and a reed in his right hand: and they bowed their knee before him, and mocked him, saying, Hail, King of the Jews... Matt. 27:29.”*

He took the crown of thorns upon His head so the earth can yield all its resources to you and I. Man needs the earth to prosper. Apart from the wisdom of God put in us, what man has prospered from basically has been from the earth,hence our first vocation was agriculture. Secondly, Jesus endured the mockery of men so you will not be mocked.

This exchange is the legal basis for our prosperity. It has been paid for. An exchange took place at Calvary. He took your position of poverty, wretchedness, penury and lack and gave us His position of glory, wealth, abundance, plenty etc., now we can prosper because it is legally our right. When you work, do business, bear it in mind that there is a legal basis for your prosperity.

*PRAYER:*
*Father, I thank you for the substitutionary work of Jesus on Calvary. I ask for a deeper revelation of all that He paid for so that I can partake of them.*
