Giving in the local church is a spiritual sacrifice. In the new testament, we give with our substance but the most important thing is the state of your heart.

Don't give to God with a wrong heart.

When we give, God checks our heart, our disposition and even the weight of our sacrifice.

His revelation about God was because he spent quality time with God. He knew the ways of God. This was the reason why he didn't misbehave like the children of Israel.

God had always wanted a kindred, a community of people who is exactly like him.

God has called us spiritual priests to offer spiritual sacrifices to him.

We established last week that to walk in honour, you must understand the person of God and His plan for man.

The reason why Moses, though in Egypt had fear and honour for God is because of his time spent with God.

Being born again is not something that is visible to the physical eyes.

God wants us to understand that there's a new man in us and he wants us to walk in the newness of that man.

When we talk about honour, one thing you should understand is that you have the ability to walk in honour.

God has assured the believer of the blessing in his word.

But the believer has a role to play in partnership with God inorder for all that God has spoken to come to full fruition.

Just because God has said it doesn't make the blessing automatic. There's more involved.
