NASFAT MOURNS THE PASSING OF RENOWNED SCHOLAR SHEIKH DAHIRU USMAN BAUCHI

The Nasrul-Lahi-L-Fatih Society (NASFAT) expresses its profound grief over the passing of Sheikh Dahiru Usman Bauchi, a revered scholar and distinguished supporter of our society. His departure marks the loss of a guiding light whose teachings touched countless lives with wisdom and compassion.

A scholar has answered the call of Almighty Allah. Sheikh Dahiru Bauchi lived a life dedicated to knowledge, service, and devotion. We pray that Almighty Allah forgives his shortcomings, accepts his good deeds, and grants him Jannatul Firdaus, the highest abode of eternal peace.

Innalillahi Wa’inna Ilaihi Rajiun. The news of his passing brings immense sorrow to all who benefited from his scholarship and leadership. His legacy will continue to inspire generations of Muslims seeking knowledge and spiritual growth across Nigeria and beyond.

The President of NASFAT, Alhaji Ayodeji AbdulWahid AbdulRauf, extends heartfelt condolences to the family, students, and associates of the late Sheikh. He prays that Allah grants them strength, patience, and comfort during this moment of profound loss and reflection.

Chief Missioner of NASFAT, Imam Maroofdeen AbdulAzeez Onike, also offers prayers for the departed scholar. He implores Allah to envelop Sheikh Dahiru Bauchi in His infinite mercy and bless his family with resilience as they uphold his enduring legacy.

*NASFAT CONDOLES LATE PRESIDENT BUHARI’S FAMILY*

The Nasrul-Lahi-L-Fatih Society (NASFAT) expresses its heartfelt condolences to the family of former President Muhammadu Buhari, whose passing was announced today by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu. The Society mourns the loss of a leader who served Nigeria in both military and civilian capacities and contributed immensely to the nation's development.

The President of NASFAT, Alhaji Ayodeji AbdulWahid AbdulRauf, on behalf of all members of the Society, sympathizes deeply with the Buhari family, particularly the widow, Mrs Aishat Buhari. He prayed that Almighty Allah (SWT) grant the family the strength to bear this monumental loss, and comfort them during this difficult time.

The Chief Missioner of NASFAT, Imam Maroofdeen AbdulAzeez Onike, offered prayers for the repose of the former President’s soul. He prayed that Allah (SWT) forgive his shortcomings, illuminate his grave, and admit him into Al-Jannatul Firdaus. Imam Onike also urged the nation to remember the late leader in their prayers and continue to work for the unity and peace of the country.

NASFAT acknowledges the decisive action of President Tinubu, who not only announced the passing of the former leader but also ordered Vice President Kashim Shettima to travel to the United Kingdom to accompany the body back to Nigeria. This demonstrates a sense of duty and respect to the legacy of his predecessor.

The Society recognizes the late President Buhari’s decades-long service to Nigeria, from his time as military head of state to his two-term civilian presidency. His leadership and patriotism remain part of the national story.

NASFAT joins all Nigerians and well-wishers around the world in mourning this national figure. The Society prays for peace in Nigeria and asks Allah to grant the family, the nation, and the Muslim Ummah the fortitude to bear this irreplaceable loss.

*NASFAT President’s Press Release on Hijrah Day 1447 AH*

As we commence the year 1447 AH, I call upon Muslims and all citizens of Nigeria to embrace the values of hard work, determination, perseverance, and love.

On this day, I encourage every Nigerian to migrate from societal vices and adopt behaviours that promote national unity and cohesion.

NASFAT President Congratulates Muslims:
“As we mark the beginning of the new Islamic year, 1447 AH, let us take time to reflect on the significance of the Hijrah and its enduring relevance to the wellbeing of humanity, especially in light of the prevailing insecurity in our country.”

I extend my heartfelt wishes to the Muslim Ummah for a joyful and fulfilling Hijrah as we embark upon this new year in the Islamic calendar. May it herald an era of peace and prosperity.

Let us strive to be exemplary ambassadors of our nation wherever we may find ourselves around the world 🌍.

In conclusion: NASFAT will offer prayers for the wellbeing of all citizens and residents across nations, and for the prosperity of our respective countries and their people. We also renew our call for unity, peace, and progress, and express hope for a successful and prosperous Hijrah year, 1447 AH.
