Who or what are we??
Many wonder who we are, well we are missionaries of the church of Jesus christ of latter day saints and here are some of our beliefs:

We believe in God the Eternal Father and his son Jesus christ and in the Holy ghost, we believe that they are three distinct personages who are united in a singular purpose.
Matthew 3:16-18, John 17:2-3, Acts7:55-56.

We believe in the doctrine and gospel of jesus christ, which includes Faith, Repentance, Baptism, Receiving the gift of the Holy ghost and Enduring to the end.
Hebrews 11:1,6. James 2:14,19-24, John 3:5, 2Nephi 31:4-13, Acts 8:14-17.

We believe the bible to be the word of God as far as it is translated correctly, we also believe the Book of Mormon to be the word of God.
Ezekiel 37:16-20, 1Nephi 13.

We believe that the Family unit can be united forever, even in all of time and in eternity.
Ephesians 6:1-4.

Do you know that families are forever?

Earlier, we established the importance of families, and now it is imperative to note that Eternal families are formed when members of the church of Jesus christ of latter day saint make covenants as they receive the sealing ordinances in the temple. The blessings of an eternal family are realized as members keep those covenants and repent when they fall short.

Why are Families so important?

All families have been created and ordained by God, for that reason the family is the most important social unit in all of time and eternity.
The establishment of a family is that it provides a loving atmosphere where the gospel of jesus christ can be taught,learnt and practice. Practicing the principles of the gospel should start from the home, this process is referred to as home centered gospel learning.
A home centered on the gospel becomes a place of refuge and fortress where the spirit of the Lord can abound.

The Lord has commanded and promised in (Ephesians 6:1-4) that:
1 Children, obey your parents in the Lord: for this is right. 2 Honour thy father and mother; (which is the first commandment with promise;) 3 That it may be well with thee, and thou mayest live long on the earth. 4 And, ye fathers, provoke not your children to wrath: but bring them up in the nurture and admonition of the Lord.

Are our questions about the Gospel Good or Bad?

As you read the following, look for how your approach to certain gospel questions and learning can either strengthen or weaken your faith in Jesus christ.
We may discover new information or have questions regarding the doctrine, practices, or history of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints that seem difficult to understand. Asking questions and seeking answers is a vital part of our effort to learn the truth. Some of the questions that come to our minds may be inspired by the Holy Ghost. Inspired questions should be considered gifts from God that provide opportunities for us to increase our understanding and to strengthen our assurance that the Lord is willing to teach us. Whatever the source of our questions may be, we have been blessed with the ability to think and reason and to have the Lord’s influence expand our minds and deepen our understanding.

What is the role of the teacher(missionaries) in Gospel Learning?

The Lord has always appointed individuals to teach others (his children) his gospel, today In our times, he does still appoint missionaries all over the world to teach his gospel.

The purpose (Role) of Missionaries is to invite others to come unto christ by helping receive his restored gospel through faith in him and his atonement, Repentance, Baptism, Receiving the Holy ghost and Enduring to the end.

Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you (JOHN 15:16)

How you ever met the missionaries? How could meeting them today help you acquire gospel knowledge

How do your experiences continuously help you learn the Gospel?

Applying the principles of the Gospel.

A popular saying is that experience is the best teacher. Indeed, it is true that we learn from experiences. These learning experiences can be garnered by applying the principles of the gospel, To be able to properly do so, one has to seek strength(help) from Heavenly Father.

It is good for me that I have been afflicted that I might learn thy statutes.
(PSALM 119:71)

Sometimes, our experiences might come by virtue of challenges that may afflict us. This creates an atmosphere for us to apply the teachings of the gospel.
Applying the teachings of the gospel can help us navigate through our challenges.

What is the role of the Holy ghost in Gospel learning?

Yesterday, we discussed the role of the learner. Today, we will focus on the role of the Holy ghost.
Truth(Gospel Knowledge) comes from our heavenly by the power of the Holy ghost because the Holy ghost is the testator of faith. Learning by the spirit comes through spiritual communication, the holy ghost can communicate with us in many ways, the spirit can enlighten our minds and help us experience peace and joy that comes from learning and applying the gospel.

But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.
(JOHN 14:26)
