*THURSDAY, 13/08/2020*
*THEME: FAITH AS ACKNOWLEDGING ONES WEAKNESS.*
In the light of our Faith, we can see our own helplessness and await
everything from God.
For man to get close to God, he allow us to feel our weakness.That's what we would expect since it is our weakness that makes room for his Might .
When you are weak, you can not trust in yourself,you cannot believe in yourself and then the opportunity comes for you to turn to Him and to desire to rely on Him as our strength just as St. Paul said in 2 Cor 12:9-10.
*_Your own power and strength must collapse sooner or later_* .
God must allow so many wounds, so many hard moments, so that you can feel weak and through this, you are open to Grace; through your injuries, God gives you Grace of deepening your Faith ( judges 7:1-8,10, 2 Cor 4:7).
The Lord places His gift in a fragile, clay vessel so that whatever we do comes from the power of God, and not from us.
Strictly speaking, there is nothing you can call exclusively your own strength. Any kind of strength is a gift; a gift which you usually claim as your own; and that is why it must be taken from you.
*Let us ask God to help us not to rely on our weaknesses but turn to him*

*THEME: BE HUMBLE*
*27th June 2020*
_1 Peter 5:5 Likewise, you who are younger, be subject to the elders. Clothe yourselves, all of you, with humility toward one another, for “God opposes the proud but gives grace to the humble."_
Pride is evident in our decision of self perfection with less regard to others opinion. Similarly, the story of David and Goliath in the bible showed that the warrior was making much reference to himself and past glories, telling the world how might he was and could be in the battle without knowing that the battle present to him would be his last, but the youngster David had less significant past glory because he was not a warrior, he trusted in God for a new page of his story as popular as the story, victory became his. _(Cf 1Samuel 17)_
Humility is manifested when an individual learns how to listen. Let's remember that we are all created by one God, no body is more important than the next, nobody is supernatural, nobody is so special that the world will not continue in his absence _(the world continue her activities even when Jesus Christ died)_ Working smartly and not hardly is the only distinguishing factor amidst individuals, there talent is found.

A great anthem from a great movement calling for an effective evangelism through the students apostolate.

Agents!

Yes we are agents, we are the transmitters of God's light of righteousness, peace and truth.

But come to think of it ooo.. Please what are you transmitting as an individual and a ycser? Is it worldly treasures, hatred or the latest immoral acts in our milieu?

Hmmm..???

A call to all ycsers, the aim of the movement is to bring students to Christ and Christ to student.

Before we can achieve this, we have to discover in other to uncover the hidden treasures that has been hiding under the cover of the comfort zone of our mind, that which is in us is crying because the World rely on it.. Ohh we are too comfortable with Living a life that is not of the divine mandate of Christ, a life of service and righteousness.

You can not be scares and unavailable, yet expecting to be relevant before God and the society. What are you doing with your existence?

I leave you with these thought provoking questions,

Are you an ideal ycser or a ceremonial ycser?

What are you contributing to the society?

What if you die now, what will the World miss for?
