Ministering - Pastor Norbert Onaga
Topic ; Getting Ready for the tabernacle move of God
The era of the Pentecostal move of God is over, we are now in the last move of God called the tabernacle move of God. The old testament is the shadow of the new testament.
The three moves of God ;
Deutronomy 16:16
16:16 Three times in a year shall all thy males appear before the LORD thy God in the place which he shall choose; in the feast of unleavened bread, and in the feast of weeks, and in the feast of tabernacles: and they shall not appear before the LORD empty: Deuteronomy
1.The feast of passover : in the new testament it was the day, Jesus died on the passover day. While In the old testament its a feast to remember when God killed the first born of Egyptians and the people of Israel applied the blood of the lamb on their door post for protection.
2.Feast of weeks/Pentecost day. - is the fiftieth day after Easter commemorates the descent of the Holy Spirit upon the Apostles and other followers of Jesus Christ while they were in Jerusalem celebrating the Feast of Weeks, as described in the Acts of the Apostles (Acts 2:1–31).
In the old testaments its when God descended on Mount Sinai while in the new testament its the Pentecost day when the holy spirit came upon the disciples. The Feast of Pentecost, the fourth of the Seven Feasts of Israel is taken up to the next level. It becomes the birthday of the Church. The Holy Spirit revival spreads out from Jerusalem into Judea, Samaria, and thence onward to the utmost parts of the world. This was that promised Light to the Gentiles Isaiah spoke about. See Isaiah 49:6)
3. Feast of tabernacles
The tabernacle was a portable place of worship God commanded the Israelites to build after he rescued them from slavery in Egypt. It was used from a year after they crossed the Red Sea until King Solomon built the first temple in Jerusalem, a period of 400 years.
Tabernacle means "place of meeting" or "tent of meeting," since it was the place where God dwelt among his people on earth.
While on Mount Sinai, Moses received minutely detailed instructions from God on how the tabernacle and all its elements were to be constructed.
Three sections of tabernacle
1. Outer court /courtyard -
Once inside the courtyard, a worshiper would see a bronze altar, or altar of burnt offering, where offerings of animal sacrifices were presented. Not far from that was a bronze laver or basin, where the priests performed ceremonial purification washings of their hands and feet.
Toward the rear of the compound was the tabernacle tent itself, a 15 by 45-foot structure made of an acacia wood skeleton overlaid with gold, then covered with layers made of goat hair, rams' skins dyed red, and goat skins.
Entry to the tent was made through a screen of blue, purple, and scarlet yarn woven into fine twined linen. The door always faced east. Here you will also see the brazen altar where they do sacrifice.
2. The holy place - The holy place, contained a table with showbread, also called shewbread or bread of the presence. Across from it was a lampstand or menorah, fashioned after an almond tree.
Its seven arms were hammered from a solid piece of gold. At the end of that room was an altar of incense.
you see the table and the seven lamb stand which stands for the seven spirit of God.
3. Holy of holies -
The Most Holy Place, or holy of holies, where only the high priest could go, once a year on the Day of Atonement. Separating the two chambers was a veil made with blue, purple and scarlet yarns and fine linen. Embroidered on that curtain were images of cherubim, or angels. In that sacred chamber was only one object, the ark of the covenant.
The ark was a wooden box overlaid with gold, with statues of two cherubim on top facing each other, their wings touching. The lid, or mercy seat, was where God met with his people. Inside the ark were the tablets of the Ten Commandments, a pot of manna, and Aaron's almond wood staff.
The tabernacle leads to the holy of holies.
The tabernacle and all its components had symbolic meanings. Overall, the tabernacle was a foreshadowing of the perfect tabernacle, Jesus Christ. The Bible constantly points to the coming Messiah, who fulfilled God's loving plan for the salvation of the world:
(Hebrews 8:1-6, NLT)
We have a High Priest who sat down in the place of honor beside the throne of the majestic God in heaven. There he ministers in the heavenly Tabernacle, the true place of worship that was built by the Lord and not by human hands.
And since every high priest is required to offer gifts and sacrifices, our High Priest must make an offering, too. If he were here on earth, he would not even be a priest, since there already are priests who offer the gifts required by the law. They serve in a system of worship that is only a copy, a shadow of the real one in heaven. For when Moses was getting ready to build the Tabernacle, God gave him this warning: "Be sure that you make everything according to the pattern I have shown you here on the mountain."
But now Jesus, our High Priest, has been given a ministry that is far superior to the old priesthood, for he is the one who mediates for us a far better covenant with God, based on better promises. (Hebrews 8:1-6, NLT)
We are living in the last move of God called the tabernacle move of God.
We are living in the time where everyone will carry the power of God. Its not for one big man of God, but its the glory of God coming upon the whole congregation.
Zechariah 10;1
10:1 Ask ye of the LORD rain in the time of the latter rain; so the LORD shall make bright clouds, and give them showers of rain, to every one grass in the field. Zechariah
What God Demands in this tabernacle era
1.Brokeness / Humility - if you are not humble, this move will destroy you. Once God see us return the glory to Him, He releases more of His glory upon us. The era of doing church by one man show is over. Majority will carry God's glorify..... to be continued.......
