May Devotion:

📖 Scripture Reading — Mary | Luke 1:38
“I am the Lord’s servant,” Mary answered. “May your word to me be fulfilled.”

🌿 Reflection:
In this month of May, traditionally dedicated to the Blessed Virgin Mary, we contemplate her profound response to God’s call: “I am the Lord’s servant.” In that moment, Mary did not fully grasp the weight of what was being asked of her, yet she chose surrender over fear, faith over doubt.

Her humility became the gateway to the greatest mystery of salvation. Mary teaches us that true greatness is not measured by status, recognition, or human achievement, but by a heart that is fully yielded to God’s will. When we trust and obey, even without complete understanding, God works through us in ways far beyond our imagination.

May this Marian month draw us deeper into a life of quiet obedience, trust, and total dependence on God.

Remember, O most gracious Virgin Mary,
that never was it known that anyone who fled to thy protection,
implored thy help, or sought thy intercession, was left unaided.
Inspired by this confidence, I fly unto thee,

🌅 Word for Today

Beloved, today’s message confronts us with a deep and challenging truth, following Christ is not always easy, but it is always life-giving.

In the First Reading, Saul encounters Jesus in a life-changing way. What began as a journey of opposition becomes a moment of transformation. His encounter with Christ completely redirects his life. This reminds us that no one is beyond the reach of God’s grace.

The Psalm is simple yet powerful: “Praise the Lord, all you nations!” It calls everyone to recognize and respond to God’s unfailing love and faithfulness.

In the Gospel, Jesus speaks about giving His flesh and blood as true food and drink. This teaching is difficult for many to accept. It challenges human understanding and demands deep faith.

Beloved, this is where many struggle, even today.

In our world, people often want a version of faith that is comfortable, easy, and convenient. But Jesus calls us to something deeper, a total commitment, even when we do not fully understand.

There are moments when God’s ways may seem hard:

When obedience requires sacrifice

When truth is unpopular

When faith demands trust beyond logic

But here is the truth:
What is difficult is often where transformation happens.

Just like Saul, one true encounter with Christ can change everything.

Do not turn back because it is hard.
Do not give up because it stretches you.
Stay with Jesus, because He alone has the words of eternal life.

✝️ Prophetic Declaration

I remain steadfast in my faith.
I follow Christ even when it is challenging.
My life is transformed by His truth.
I receive the grace to stand firm and grow deeper in God.

🙏 Prayer

Heavenly Father,
Give me the strength to follow You wholeheartedly.
Help me to trust You even when I do not understand.
Deepen my faith and keep me rooted in Your truth.
Let my life reflect unwavering commitment to You.
Amen.
