*TOPIC: NEW YEAR, NEW SYSTEM*

*Introduction*
A new year is more than a calendar change, it is a spiritual system upgrade.
Heaven does not just give us new days, it equips us with new capacities.
God is does not want us entering a new year with old habits, old fears, old patterns, old excuses, and old limitations.
New seasons require new systems.

Because God is not just changing your year, He is changing you.

God cannot upgrade your future if you insist on operating with yesterday’s system.

*What Is a “System”?*

A system is the structure that:
Governs how you think
Directs how you respond
Determines what you tolerate
Regulates how you live.

If your system does not change, your life will repeat the same cycles.

A new blessing cannot survive in an old system.
You cannot pour new wine into old wineskins. Matthew 9:17.

*God’s Agenda for This Year*

1️⃣ New Mindset- A shift in your mindset, you need to have the mindset of Christ, a mind of positivity.

Phil.4.8 - Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.

2️⃣New Heart- God wants to heal you internally. A heart healed from bitterness, healed from past wounds, healed from disappointment. A heart that trusts again, loves again, hopes again. Ps.51.10 - Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me.

3️⃣New Spiritual Discipline
This year requires intentional spirituality.
Luke 18:1 – Men ought always to pray. No more emergency Christianity. This year, we build systems of prayer, word, consecration, and consistency. Joshua 1:8

4️⃣ New Associations
God may change your circle to change your destiny. Prov.13.20 - He that walketh with wise men shall be wise: but a companion of fools shall be destroyed.

5️⃣ New Alignment with God’s Will — No more running ahead of God. No more stubbornness. This is the year of surrender, obedience, and alignment.

Action Points: God will not force his will on you, he needs you to cooperate with him to become that which he has designed you to be.

*Prayer point*
1. I receive new grace to walk in alignment with your purpose for my life
2. Create in me a new heart, and renew thy spirit within me
3. I refuse to repeat last year's battles and mistakes

*TOPIC: A VERY PRESENT HELP.*

*ANCHOR VERSE:* Ps.46.1 - God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.
Ps.46.2 - Therefore will not we fear, though the earth be removed, and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea;
Ps.46.3 - Though the waters thereof roar and be troubled, though the mountains shake with the swelling thereof. Selah.
Ps.46.4 - There is a river, the streams whereof shall make glad the city of God, the holy place of the tabernacles of the most High.
Ps.46.5 - God is in the midst of her; she shall not be moved: God shall help her, and that right early.
Ps.46.6 - The heathen raged, the kingdoms were moved: he uttered his voice, the earth melted.
Ps.46.7 - The LORD of hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our refuge. Selah.

*When we talk about our very present help, it means, he is readily available to profer assistance to us at everything point we will be needing it*

*We do not need to fear or be discouraged even in times of challenges and trouble, God is our very present help, our refuge, and our strength*

*Our part is to call upon Him and He will answer and deliver us .*

*No man can come through for us, like he does*

*Have you ever called a friend in a time of need and they will be like, I wish I could help, but currently I am incapacitated*

*We have a God, who owns the earth and the fullness thereof, we have a father who is always available to help us, when we trust in him*

*As long as we fully acknowledge him to be our Lord and Savior, he will always be there for us and also come through for us.*

*Then we begin to wonder, how then is it that we get in trouble with God right there? Or Could it be that we are not aware of His presence and His desire to help us? Or is it that God is in the midst of us and we have not acknowledged His presence?*

Briefly, let's look at the story of Jesus calming the storm in Mark 4:35-41

*Despite Jesus was in the ship with them, they were still disturbed by storm and it kept raging, until they acknowledge his presence.*

Mark.4.38 - And he was in the hinder part of the ship, asleep on a pillow: and they awake him, and say unto him, Master, carest thou not that we perish?
Mark.4.39 - And he arose, and rebuked the wind, and said unto the sea, Peace, be still. And the wind ceased, and there was a great calm.
Mark.4.40 - And he said unto them, Why are ye so fearful? how is it that ye have no faith?

*And they acknowledge his presence and he arose to calm the storm, most at times, despite being a Christian, we still don't know what we carry, and the devil decides to make a mess of our faith.*

*Despite the fact that he is right there with us, we need to make sure that we acknowledge Him in all our ways, then that He directs our paths.*

*He is more present in trouble than out, He is more than enough when He reveals Himself to us. He is more than enough to give us joy. He supplies more than enough of all our needs. He is more than enough in every situations*

*When unexpected illness strikes, He is the Healer who goes beyond where the doctors go.*

*I am talking from experience , I use to have chronic peptic ulcer in those days, without any surgery, just by keying to his word, I was healed, Doctors will do surgeries, leaving scars behind, but he performs his surgery without leaving a trace.*

*I don't know how long you have battled with that ailments, I have come to inform you, that the very present help in the time of need, is here to heal you completely*

Though I walk in the midst of trouble, You will revive me; You will stretch out Your hand against the wrath of my enemies, and Your right hand will save me. The Lord will perfect that which concerns me; Your mercy, O Lord, endures forever; do not forsake the works of Your hands.
Psalm 138:7-8

*To some you might have been under the oppression of attacks in your place of work, shops, marriage, our very present help in the time of need, can bring you our and ensure safe landing and none of your bones shall be broken. Psm 34:20*

*Jesus says that He will be there to revive us when this feeling of weakness and dread comes upon us.*

*When our enemies lift up their hands against us, God will stretch forth His hand against them.*

*If we have concerns, He perfects the things that concern us. He is with us when the enemy surrounds us.*

*He is very present.*

*Isaiah 50:7-11:No matter the opposition, we are confidence in the victory, Christ has given us*

*We are rest assured of safety*

*Our very present help can provide all our needs according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus, Phil 4:19*

*There was a time, I had no foodstuff nor money to even get it, and I was just looking and worried, thinking of where help can come, trusting on God, ND listing out my needs, and i got a knock on my door, and a friend gave me all that I had listed, without asking her or telling her.*

*He is our very present help and he will never leave us stranded*

*ANCHOR VERSE: Psalm 121:1-8*

Ps.121.1 - I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help.
Ps.121.2 - My help cometh from the LORD, which made heaven and earth.
Ps.121.3 - He will not suffer thy foot to be moved: he that keepeth thee will not slumber.
Ps.121.4 - Behold, he that keepeth Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep.
Ps.121.5 - The LORD is thy keeper: the LORD is thy shade upon thy right hand.
Ps.121.6 - The sun shall not smite thee by day, nor the moon by night.
Ps.121.7 - The LORD shall preserve thee from all evil: he shall preserve thy soul.
Ps.121.8 - The LORD shall preserve thy going out and thy coming in from this time forth, and even for evermore.

*This world is a battle field, without divine help you will suffer defeat, humiliation and shame.*

*Without divine help people will forget you and men will abandon you.*

*Real help is not from any hill but from the Lord above.*

*WHAT IS DIVINE HELP?*

*Divine help is God stepping into your situation to accomplish what is humanly not possible. It’s the supernatural intervention that turns “no way” into a clear path to walk through.*

*Without God’s intervention, even the best human efforts fall short.*

*Divine help bridges the gap between your limitations and God’s infinite power.*

*It’s what takes you from striving to thriving.*

*Joseph in Gen 40:9-14, expected help from a man, but that man forgot him.*

*In the story, Joseph requested for two things*

1. *Think of me, my brother and show kindness.*

2. *Mention my name to Pharaoh.*

*Yet that man did not remember.*

*Until God intervened, the man did not remember him.*

*“FROM NOW ON YOU SHALL NOT BE FORGOTTEN”*

*In the name of Jesus, wherever you have been forgotten, God will force them to remember you (Amen).*

*Not many people know that the surest source of help is the God of heaven and earth, and for this reason, so many people struggle for a very long time without having anything to show for their efforts.*

*Some believe their help is from their parents, family members, the most influential in their land. But all this person's can fail you, Only God doesn't fail.*

*Sometime ago, there was a story of a man that was told he will die in few months, and he began to seek help and then, he found an herbalist, the herbalist gave him list of items to bring in 7 days , for a ritual that will keep him for extra 30 years, on the 7th day, when this man returned for the ritual with the items, the herbalist was dead.*

*Imagine someone who promised him life, could not keep himself alive.*

*Only God is sure and certain, he is the ancient of says, he was the only one who sent his son to defeat death, no one has the power except him. He faileth not, he doesn't promise and fail, he sayeth and it comes to pass. It might tarry, but wait for it, it will happen. Habakkuk 2:3*

*You might have been struggling all your life, with little or nothing to show for it, I have come to tell you in the name of Jesus, your struggles have come to an end now.*

*In Psalm 127:1, says thus: “Except the LORD build the house, they labour in vain that build it: except the LORD keep the city, the watchman watches but in vain.”*

*Divine help doesn’t just improve your circumstance, it magnifies God’s glory in your life.*

*It shows the world what iss possible when you lean on God.*

*Psalm 44:3 sums it up beautifully: “They did not gain possession of the land by their own sword, nor did their own arm save them; but it was Your right hand, Your arm, and the light of Your countenance, because You favored them.”*

*Are you ready to stop striving and start thriving?*

*The choice is simple: you can continue struggling with human solutions, or you can turn to the One who owns the earth and the fullness, Ps.24.1 - The earth is the LORD'S, and the fulness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein.*

*ACTION POINT:*

*• Make today the day you surrender your battles to God.*

*• Pray boldly, worship him with sincerity of heart, and step into the divine help that’s waiting for you, With God on your side, you will not only overcome, you will flourish.*

*TOPIC: LOVING GOD PRT 1*

*ANCHOR VERSE:1 John 4:15-21*

*Memory verse: 1 John.4.19 - We love him, because he first loved us.*

*Loving God is the foundation of spiritual life.*

*It is what it takes to be a believer in God, It is what it means to be a Christian and to be a lover of God.*

*Let's learn from the story of the Good Samaritan.*

*Jesus had been challenged by a young lawyer who came to him and said, "Teacher, you tell me what I have to do to inherit eternal life."*

*In response Jesus said, "You have to love the Lord your God with all your heart and all your soul and all your mind and all your strength, and your neighbor as yourself."*

*The young man wanted to justify himself, so he said to Jesus Christ, "So who is my neighbor?"*

*Jesus told him, "A certain man was going from Jerusalem to Jericho, and he fell among thieves. They stripped him of his clothes, beat him, and went away, leaving him half dead. A priest happened to be going by. When he saw the man, he passed by on the other side. And a Levite did the same, when he saw the man. But a Samaritan, as he traveled, came where the man was. And when he saw him, he took pity on him. (Or he had compassion on him.) He went to him, bandaged his wounds, and poured on oil and wine. Then he put the man on his own donkey. He took him to an inn.*

*"The next day the Samaritan took out two silver coins, and said to the innkeeper, 'You take care of him. When I return, I'll reimburse you for any extra expense.' "*

*"Which of these three," said Jesus, "do you think was neighbor to the man who fell into the hands of robbers?"*

*"Well," the lawyer "the one who had mercy on him." Jesus said to him, "Go and do thou likewise."*

*Our sinful hearts keep us from loving God*

*I want to talk to us about loving God. Many people want to love God, but they don't know how.*

*Many people don't know how to love each other or to receive love from other people.*

*To Love God we need to show love to those around us, some of us will see our neighbors clothes fall from rope and cannot pick it, we will just walk pass it.*

*When you cannot show Love to who you see, how then can you show to God, that you haven't seen*

*When we talk about loving God, we have a problem with our heart, the part of us, God made to be able to love*

Ps.51.5 - Behold, I was brought forth in iniquity, And in sin my mother conceived me. [NKJV]

*Man looks on the outside, but God looks right down within, and he says the diagnosis of humans heart is evil.*
Jer.17.9 - The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it?

*It thinks thoughts other than God would have it think. It decides to do things other than God would have it do.*

*HOW THEN CAN THIS SINFUL HEARTS LOVE GOD?*

*For our heart to experience all that God wants us to experience, it must be renewed.*

Jesus said in Mark.7.21 - For from within, out of the heart of men, proceed evil thoughts, adulteries, fornications, murders,
Mark.7.22 - Thefts, covetousness, wickedness, deceit, lasciviousness, an evil eye, blasphemy, pride, foolishness:
Mark.7.23 - All these evil things come from within, and defile the man.

*Our natural (sinful) heart cannot Love God, only a transformed heart can*

*Through the sacrifice of Jesus Christ, God gives us a new heart*

Ezek.36.26 - A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh.
Ezek.36.27 - And I will put my spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes, and ye shall keep my judgments, and do them.

*A new heart makes it possible to love God with our soul, mind, and strength.*

*You begin to love God with all your soul. You begin to enjoy the presence of God until you become like him.*

*Then you begin to abandon your old nature, and adopt a new nature in Christ, becoming a different person in christ.*

*Our love for God becomes visible, even to those around us*

Matt.5.16 - Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.

*Then you begin to express this Love to others*

1John.4.20 - If a man say, I love God, and hateth his brother, he is a liar: for he that loveth not his brother whom he hath seen, how can he love God whom he hath not seen?
1John.4.21 - And this commandment have we from him, That he who loveth God love his brother also.

*Our Love for God should be expressed to others, helping the needy, being nice to those around you, those little things matter.*

*We will end here the week*

*In conclusion: Loving God should show in our daily live.*

*ACTION POINTS: God is Love and those that must worship him, must dwell in Love.*

*PRAYER POINT*

1. *Help me love others as I love myself.*
2. *Lord work on me, renew my heart and confirm it to your taste.*

*TOPIC: MOBILE CARRIER OF HIS PRESENCE*

*BIBLE TEXT: ROM 8:28-34*

As Christians,God wants us to be mobile carriers of His presence everywhere we go, we can carry the presence of God.

In the new dispensation, we have the third Person of the Trinity which is the Holy Spirit in us.

Invariably, we carry God’s presence anywhere we are. His presence is with us every inch of the way leading and providing directions.

Wherever we go, wherever we are, we are sure of the backing of God.

The bible says that our bodies are the temple of God. We need not go to a particular place ritualistically before we can worship God as He resides on the inside of us and manifests His power through us.

Communication with God is simplified because He has taken lives in us.

We can pray through the Holy Spirit any time anywhere and receive messages or revelations about things yet to happen.

God in us, God with us and God for us, hence evil is not permitted to happen to us. Psm 91:10-13

God’s presence with us, for us and in us you it will keep the enemy away and attract the favour that you need in all areas of your life.

When you are a carrier of God's presence, whatever that cannot stop God, will not be able to stop you. Exodus 33:15

For anything to stop you, they need to stop God.

His presence makes us preserved, our going out and coming Psm 121:8

What of peace in the midst of storms and trials? Isa 26:3

Only those who carry His presence in such situations are not overwhelmed.

Do not stifle the spirit in you.1Thess 5:19, walk with him and keep building up your intimacy with him, involve him in all aspects of your life.

IMPORTANT POINT: *Study the scripture in this devotional and endeavor to pray*

PRAYER: *Lord help me to be a mobile carrier of his presence and be a conscious of your presence in me.*

My father is the only one we can call the jack of all trades and a master of all, if you don’t believe argue with your keyboard.

He is a civil engineer l, that made a way in the wilderness in seconds. Exodus 14:1-29, show me a civil engineer that has done that before 🤔

He proved his self as a great fisherman, Simon had toiled all night without a single fish and in few minutes, Jesus came and the net couldn’t carry the fishes, and they all had to borrow from other colleagues. Luke 5:5-8

He is a food technologist that took know lecture from anyone but yet was and is the best, he turned water into a wine without stress. John2:1-11

He is doctor of all doctors, most senior consultant and professor, no one trained yes he was well trained, specialized in all field. Be it surgery, Obstetrics and gynecology, family medicine, community medicine, paediatrics and so on….. No doctor can do this

As a gynaecologist, he was the first to invent surrogacy, through Hagar…. Ti o ba believe argue with your keyboard. Abraham's wife Sarah could not bear him a child so she asked her servant, Hagar, to conceive with Abraham. Hagar gave Abraham a son Gen 16:1-2

As an obstetrician, he made Woman pregnant at 90 despite no me**es, no ovulation and she carried her baby to full term. Gen 21:1-2

He made the blind to see without an operation, the woman with the issue of blood which doctors them as menorrhagia, all doctors had tried yet they couldn’t but my God did it.John9:1-7

He made a lame man to walk, someone who has never walked before, he also brought all the children to his side and even raised a dead child…. Who can be compared to him. John5:1-8

He went to community gathered and trained thousands of people, healed and still fed them. Caring for the whole man, body, soul and Spirit. John6:1-14

As if that was not enough he brought a dead boy back to life Luke 7:11–17, point out a doctor that can resuscitate a dead patient. He even brought back a 3-days dead patient (Lazarus)John 11:38–44.

I don’t know what you are trusting God for, but I know hom to be the God of all possibilities, the creator of heaven and earth, Are you trusting him for a Job?he is not MTN but he is everywhere you go, he is not Glo, he rules the word. The CEO of all CEO, he has connected you. Just take few minutes and call on him and I see him settling you.
