Early Signs of a New Season in God

Introduction: season is a period in a year that differs from another time.
As Christian believers, we are meant to experience change of seasons while we are still pilgrims to this earth.
Today we will be looking at the early signs that season is about to change to a new one
Boldness to confront giants - 1st Kings 17:1
Strong prophetic words and direction is sent to us by God
Supernaturally instructed to go to unusual places and do uncommon things
You live in complete obedience - 1st Kings 17:5
You are fed or taken cared off supernaturally -1st Kings 17:6
Because it is a new season, change is meant to occur
Men and women that matters have been supernaturally positioned to bless you and for you to bless them as well
As we continue to stay connected to God, may we receive grace to step into a new season in Jesus name
EARLY SIGNS OF A NEW SEASON IN GOD

Introduction
A season is a period of time that is different from another. Just as natural seasons change, believers in Christ also experience different spiritual seasons as we journey through life.
God does not intend for us to remain permanently in one season. There are times of preparation, waiting, testing, provision, breakthrough, growth and divine manifestation.
The important question is: How do we recognize when God is bringing us into a new season?
From the life of Elijah in 1 Kings 17, we can identify several early signs that a new season is beginning.
1. Boldness to Confront Giants — 1 Kings 17:1
One of the first signs of a new season can be a new dimension of boldness.
Elijah stood before King Ahab and boldly declared the word of the Lord concerning the coming drought. He was not intimidated by the authority or circumstances around him.
When God is moving you into a new season, He can give you unusual courage to confront situations that previously intimidated you.
A new season often requires a new level of faith and boldness.
2. Strong Prophetic Words and Divine Direction
God did not leave Elijah without direction. He spoke to him and gave him specific instructions concerning what he should do.
When God is taking you into a new season, He may begin to give you clearer instructions, spiritual insight and divine direction.
Sometimes, the word you receive today is preparing you for what God will do tomorrow.
3. Supernatural Instructions to Go to Unusual Places
God instructed Elijah to leave his familiar environment and go to the brook Cherith.
“Get thee hence, and turn thee eastward, and hide thyself by the brook Cherith.” — 1 Kings 17:3
Sometimes, a new season begins with an instruction that does not look familiar or convenient.
God may ask you to go somewhere unusual, begin something uncommon, or take a step that requires faith.
Never reject divine instruction simply because it is unfamiliar.
4. You Begin to Walk in Complete Obedience — 1 Kings 17:5
Elijah obeyed God's instruction:
“So he went and did according unto the word of the LORD.” — 1 Kings 17:5
Obedience is one of the strongest indicators of spiritual maturity.
A new season requires you to respond differently from your previous season. What God demands from you today may require greater discipline, faith and obedience.
Delayed obedience can delay the manifestation of what God has prepared.
5. You Experience Supernatural Provision — 1 Kings 17:6
God provided for Elijah in an extraordinary way:
“And the ravens brought him bread and flesh in the morning, and bread and flesh in the evening; and he drank of the brook.” — 1 Kings 17:6
When God brings His people into a new season, He can provide through channels that human reasoning cannot predict.
The source may be unexpected, but the Provider remains God.
6. Because It Is a New Season, Change Must Occur
A new season cannot look exactly like the old season.
In Elijah's experience, the brook eventually dried up, and God gave him another instruction.
“And it came to pass after a while, that the brook dried up, because there had been no rain in the land.” — 1 Kings 17:7
Notice something important: the drying of the brook did not mean the end of God's provision. It meant a change of season.
Sometimes what worked in your previous season may no longer work in the next one.
Do not mistake transition for abandonment.
7. Divine Relationships and Strategic People Are Positioned
God eventually directed Elijah to a widow at Zarephath.
“Arise, get thee to Zarephath, which belongeth to Zidon, and dwell there: behold, I have commanded a widow woman there to sustain thee.” — 1 Kings 17:9
God had already positioned someone who would become part of Elijah's next season.
In the same way, God can strategically position men and women who will contribute to your journey—and you may also become an instrument through which God blesses them.
Divine relationships are often part of divine seasons.
Conclusion
Beloved, every season has its purpose. Some seasons prepare us, some test us, some teach us, and others reveal what God has been preparing behind the scenes.
When you notice unusual boldness, divine instructions, uncommon assignments, deeper obedience, supernatural provision, significant changes and strategic relationships, pay attention. God may be leading you into another season.
Do not fear the transition. Stay connected to God, remain obedient to His Word, and trust His direction.
Prayer
May the Lord give you discernment to recognize your new season. May He give you courage to confront every giant, grace to obey His instructions, provision for every assignment, and divine connections for the journey ahead. May every closed door, changed circumstance and unusual instruction work together for your advancement according to His purpose.
May you step into your new season with faith, wisdom and divine grace, in Jesus' name. Amen.
