ETERNAL INHERITANCE AND POSSESSION

‎Inheritance is not a future hope; it is a present covenant reality. In Scripture, inheritance speaks of what God has eternally allocated to His sons and daughters, while possession is the act of entering, occupying, and enforcing what has already been given.

The Mirror of Judgment: A Call to Self-Reflection

Matthew 7:1-5 (ISV)

In a world where criticism and judgment are rampant, Jesus' words in Matthew 7:1-5 offer a timely reminder of the dangers of judgmentalism. As we explore this passage, may we be convicted of our own hypocrisy and may we emerge with a renewed commitment to humility, self-reflection, and a genuine love for others.

I. The Dangers of Judgmentalism (Matthew 7:1-2)

Jesus begins by issuing a stern warning: "Stop judging, so that you won't be judged" (v. 1). This is not a call to moral relativism, but a warning against the deadly poison of self-righteous judgmentalism. When we judge others, we invite the scrutiny of a holy God, who will judge us according to the same standards we have applied to others.

II. The Beam in Our Own Eye (Matthew 7:3-5)

But why do we tend to focus on the specks in others' eyes while ignoring the beams in our own? (v. 3). The answer lies in our inherent self-deception. We often rationalize our own flaws, downplaying their significance or attributing them to circumstances beyond our control. Meanwhile, we magnify the shortcomings of others, using them as a justification for our own self-righteousness.

III. A Call to Self-Reflection (Matthew 7:5)

So, what is the antidote to this judgmentalism? Jesus provides the answer: "First remove the beam from your own eye, and then you will see clearly enough to remove the speck from your brother's eye" (v. 5). This requires a radical commitment to self-reflection, acknowledging our own weaknesses, and seeking forgiveness and healing.

A classic illustration of this principle can be found in the story of the Pharisee and the tax collector (Luke 18:9-14).

May the mighty hand of God move on your behalf, releasing supernatural breakthroughs and blessings upon your life, for it is written in Psalm 18:35, 'You give me your shield of victory, and your right hand sustains me; you stoop down to make me great.'

May the Holy Spirit illuminate your path, dispelling darkness and guiding you into the perfect will of God, as promised in Isaiah 58:11, 'The Lord will guide you always; he will satisfy your needs in a sun-scorched land and will strengthen your frame.'

As you walk in obedience to God's Word, may your heart be sensitive to the leading of the Holy Spirit, and may your faith be strengthened by the promises of Scripture, for it is written in Proverbs 3:5-6, 'Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.'

May your roots grow deeper in the Word of God, your influence expand for the Kingdom, and your legacy be forever etched in the annals of eternity, as promised in Psalm 92:12-14, 'The righteous will flourish like a palm tree, they will grow like a cedar of Lebanon; planted in the house of the Lord, they will flourish in the courts of our God.'

Receive and manifest it in the name of Jesus. May these, serve as a catalyst for a year of unparalleled transformation and glory and may the Lord bless and keep you. Happy New Year! GPM

Beloved,

Welcome to 2024, our Year of Visible Boundaries of Blessings, as declared in Isaiah 54:2. In this prophetic season, let us join our hearts in faith and anticipation for the divine manifestation of God's promises in tangible and visible ways. As we step into this year, let the proclamation of Isaiah 54:2 guide our prophetic decrees and declarations, setting the tone for the visible boundaries of blessings that await us.

Prophetic Decrees and Declarations:

1. Boundaries of Abundance: In the name of Jesus, I decree and declare visible boundaries of abundance in every area of our lives. Our homes, careers, ministries, and relationships shall be marked by an overflow of God's prosperity. (Psalm 65:11)

2. Boundaries of Healing: I declare visible boundaries of healing, both physically and emotionally. By the stripes of Jesus, we receive divine health, and our bodies and hearts are restored. May our lives be a testimony of God's healing power. (Jeremiah 30:17)

3. Boundaries of Favour: Let visible boundaries of favor surround us like a shield. Divine favor goes before us, opening doors of opportunity and making a way where there seems to be no way. (Psalm 5:12)

4. Boundaries of Wisdom: In 2024, I decree and declare visible boundaries of wisdom. Our minds are enlightened, and decisions are guided by divine wisdom. We walk in discernment and understanding, making choices that align with God's perfect will. (James 1:5)

5. Boundaries of Joy: I declare visible boundaries of joy that are evident to all who encounter us. The joy of the Lord is our strength, and it radiates from us, bringing light and hope to those around us. (Nehemiah 8:10)

6. Boundaries of Impact: May our lives have visible boundaries of impact on the Kingdom. Our actions, words, and influence extend beyond our immediate circles, touching lives and drawing others closer to the love of Christ. (Matthew 5:16)

7. Boundaries of Family Unity: I decree and declare visible boundaries of unity within our families. The love of Christ binds us together, and we stand firm against any divisive force. Our homes are havens of love, peace, and mutual support. (Colossians 3:14)

8. Boundaries of Academic and Professional Success: I declare visible boundaries of success in academics and professions. The favor of God propels us to excel, and every endeavor we undertake prospers. (Proverbs 16:3)

9. Boundaries of Creativity and Innovation: In 2024, may our lives be marked by visible boundaries of creativity and innovation. We tap into the limitless creativity of our Creator, bringing forth ideas and solutions that impact our spheres of influence. (Genesis 1:27)

10. Boundaries of Restored Relationships: I declare visible boundaries of restored relationships. Broken bonds are mended, and reconciliation flows in our lives. We walk in forgiveness, extending the grace we have received. (2 Corinthians 5:18)

11. Boundaries of Holiness and Righteous Living: We decree visible boundaries of holiness and righteous living. Our lives reflect the character of Christ, and our actions align with God's Word. We walk in purity and integrity in every area of our lives. (1 Peter 1:16)

12. Boundaries of Global Impact: May our influence extend globally. I declare visible boundaries of impact on a larger scale, as doors open for us to make a difference in the nations. Our lives become vessels of God's transformative power on a worldwide stage. (Matthew 28:19)

In unity and faith, we receive these prophetic decrees and declarations, believing that the visible boundaries of blessings proclaimed in Isaiah 54:2 will manifest in every aspect of our lives. As we journey through this year, let the world witness the tangible evidence of God's goodness and favor upon us. In the powerful and matchless name of Jesus, we declare these things. Amen.
