1. The Glory of God Is the Visible Expression of His Invisible Excellence
God's glory makes His nature, beauty, excellence and greatness perceivable.
When we speak of the glory of God, we are speaking about the full weight of who God is, the sum total of His excellence and value.
The glory reveals what cannot ordinarily be seen.
2. The Glory Represents the Full Weight of God
God is infinite, and His glory is the expression of that infinite nature.
The glory carries the weight of God.
To encounter God’s glory is to encounter something of the reality, majesty and excellence of who God is.
This means that the glory of God should never be treated as something casual.
3. In the Spirit, a Garment Represents More Than Clothing
In the natural, a garment is something we wear. But in the spirit realm, a garment can represent a person’s condition, identity, authority and spiritual state.
4. The fall affected the condition of man and his relationship with God.
This is why the subject of the Glory Garment cannot be separated from the question of what a man must do to sustain what God has placed upon him.
It is one thing to encounter glory.
It is another thing to sustain it.
5. Sustaining Glory Requires a Consistent Walk With God.
Any man that must sustain the glory must build a habit of showing up at a specific time and place before God.
Glory is to be stewarded. A person who wants to sustain the glory of God upon his life must develop the discipline of consistently showing up before God.
You cannot build a deep relationship with God through occasional encounters.
There must be a pattern, consistency and a deliberate decision to keep meeting with God.
6. A “Place” Is Not Necessarily a Physical Location.
It can be your:
Bible study time, Prayer time, Worship time, Personal fellowship with God.
The emphasis is intentionality and consistency.
