RCCG City of David-Eket The City of David-Eket is a special parish of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Akwa-Ibom State, youth Province 5.

Founded in November 2007 by a special mandate from the General Overseer of REDEEMED CHRISTIAN CHURCH OF GOD-The Youth Assembly is fulfilling its mission of bringing the Word of God to the youths, empowering them to rise above the limitations of age, environment, and social class. (A). The Growing Problem in the Church
Some of the issues contributing to the growing problem in the church include:
•The Christian name
•The Christian Religion
•The Christian fame
•Posting Scriptures
•Being part of a denomination
•Listening to gospel songs
•Giving offerings and tithes
(B). Who Is an Authentic Christian?
•An authentic Christian is not one who is merely perfect.
An authentic Christian is:
•One who has consciously received the life of Christ and knows that they need Jesus into their spirit, and submits to the Lordship of Christ.
Scriptures: 1 Corinthians 5:11–12; John 1:12; Romans 12:9–10; Romans 10:9.
•One who intentionally conforms to the character, principles, wisdom and power of Christ.
•One who is intelligent.
(C). Christianity is not a religion; it is a life of God finding expression in and through humanity, which can be seen in families, government, schools and the church.
How to Become an Authentic Christian
•Receive the life of Christ and submit under His Lordship.
•Submit and be accountable to authorities.
•Cultivate a personal and corporate relationship with God.
•Consciously and constantly review and examine yourself using the Word of God.
