GOOD MORNING HOLY SPIRIT

DON'T DECEIVE YOURSELF

The Scriptures warn that you should not allow anyone to deceive you. More pathetic than that is when you are the one deceiving yourself.

1. Anyone who hears the word of God without practicing it is deceiving himself (James 1:22)

2. If you claim to be righteous while you are a talkative, you are deceiving yourself (James 1:26)

3. If you think you can know God because you are academically inclined, you are deceiving yourself (1 Cor.3:18)

4. If you are sure of making heaven while still living in that sin of yours, you are deceiving yourself (1 Cor.6:9-11)

5. Thinking you can mingle with corrupt people and still maintain your purity is self deception (1 Cor. 15:33)

6. Thinking that you are better than your neighbor is self deception (Gal. 6:3)

7. Expecting to harvest something different from what you have sown is self deception (Gal.6:7)

8. Dribbling, deceiving and playing tricks on people is an arrangement for your own deception (2Tim. 3:13)
