UEC, NATIONAL DAILY PRAYER FOCUS FOR TODAY
THURSDAY 15TH JUNE, 2023

SCRIPTURE: ‭‭Exodus‬ ‭33:9‬
"As Moses went into the tent, the pillar of cloud would come down and stay at the entrance, while the Lord spoke with Moses".

PRAYER: We continue to express gratitude to God for his unlimited help & mercy in the ongoing Retreat program at Port Harcourt. It is a blessing so far. We continue to commit today's event to him as we conclude. Praying for more of his manifest & revealed presence on each participants.

+ We ask the Lord to continually grant insight, understanding, Strength, wisdom and help to the CoC as he ministers and presides over this meeting. We desire that heaven be opened and all participants be impacted upon for a more better ministry.

+ We pray against confusion, distraction or interruption of any kind. We receive peace over the city of Port Harcourt. We declare victory over the families and churches left behind. We earnestly pray that the hand of God will work wonders and the impact of this Retreat be felt on every aspect of our church life.

TUESDAY 13TH JUNE, 2023

(Let's stay focused on this again today)

SCRIPTURE: Exodus 23:20
"Behold, I send an Angel before you to keep and guard you on the way and to bring you to the place I have prepared."

PRAYER: The National Reverend Ministers Annual Retreat begins today in Port Harcourt. We pray for all round success. Many may begin traveling today, we pray for journey mercies of all participants to & fro. The Angels of the Lord go ahead of his people to safeguard and take charge of the Air, highways and Sea for a victorious journey.

+ We pray that the Retreat will be a time of refreshing, restoring and renewing of our Reverend Ministers. God will visit his servants individually and as a body to transform and set them on fire 🔥🔥 again for the kingdom.

+ We pray for the perfection of any remaining logistics in the planning. Particularly, as touching the current economic realities. That God provides for both the hosting unit and others across board. That God makes a way for last minute surprises to as many who are willing to attend.

SCRIPTURE: Psalm 122:1
"I WAS glad when they said to me, Let us go to the house of the Lord!"

PRAYER: Today, as we gather at His feet for worship, may you experience joy, peace and gladness of heart. May the Lord in His wisdom make you glad on every side. By the light of His presence every garment of heaviness be replaced with the garment of praise and gladness.

+We pray and speak life & light into every congregation of UEC across the nation that darkness and dullness shall not identify with the assembly of your people.

+ We ask that everyone that shall minister in any pulpit today shall be a shining light by the oil of the holy spirit.

FRIDAY 9TH JUNE, 2023

SCRIPTURE: Jer. 30:17
"For I will restore health to you, and I will heal your wounds, says the Lord, because they have called you an outcast, saying, This is Zion, whom no one seeks after and for whom no one cares",(Amp).

PRAYER: We pray for the healing and total restoration of health of every member & leader of our church that is sick in the body, whether at home or hospital. May they be healed & delivered in the name of Jesus.

+ We take authority against every form of infirmity or sickness that may be tormenting our family members, by the word of God we break their powers & scatter their strongholds. We speak by the blood of Jesus, let victory prevail.

+We pray for the economic & political healing in our nation. Asking that soundness be restored into every sector. That the new govt will have a right sense of direction.

"Do you see a man diligent and skillful in his business? He will stand before kings; he will not stand before obscure men."

PRAYER: We are praying for our members everywhere, particularly the working class to be fund diligent in their various endeavors. That the Lord will raise members of UEC in different sectors to positions of enviable heights in their carriers.

+ We pray for our church leaders from the national down to local levels that they be diligent in service. The Lord takes away the spirit of slothfulness among our leaders.

+ We pray for our Children in various schools that they be diligent in studies. And God will make them outstanding in their academic pursuit. Bless them with wisdom & understanding. The Lord protect and preserve them.

PRAYER: Hebrews 13:5
"Let your character or moral disposition be free from love of money [including greed, avarice, lust, and craving for earthly possessions] and be satisfied with your present [circumstances and with what you have]; for He [God] Himself has said, I will not in any way fail you nor give you up nor leave you without support. [I will] not, [I will] not, [I will] not in any degree leave you helpless nor forsake nor let [you] down."(Amp).

PRAYERS:
+ With your understanding of this scripture, do a personal prayer for yourself as applicable.

+ Do a similar prayer for the members of your immediate congregations.

+ Specifically mention some names you know should be prayed for in this manner and pray for them. Please, you are free to share such name(s) so we can generally intercede for them.

+ We intercede in the light of this scripture for the bereaved families whose loved ones the Lord has called home. That the Lord will keep them, provide for, protect and lead them aright.

PRAYER: We earnestly intercede for God's visitation upon our land, church and individual lives. We pray the Almighty God to remember us again in his mercy and visit UEC with a mighty revival that will impact on every aspect of our membership.

+ At this critical time of our political experiences, we cry out for Divine visitation upon Nigerian government. That our political leaders may receive a good sense of direction in decision making. That the goodness & rich blessings of God in our nation will not turn to punishment.

+ We pray for the healing hands of God upon everyone who may be sick in the body, soul or spirit. That the Lord show them mercy with great deliverance. Asking for a total soundness continually for our church leaders from the national to the local congregations.

"The Lord is a Man of War; the Lord is His name."(Amp)

Psalm 46:9
"He makes wars to cease to the end of the earth; He breaks the bow into pieces and snaps the spear in two; He burns the chariots in the fire..."

PRAYERS: We have come a long way as a nation. Let it not be that when we are suppose to concentrate, then evil will overtake us. Let's intercede earnestly for our nation that Jehovah the Man of war will arise and frustrate every open and secret plans to make life more difficult for Nigerians.

+ That the Lord will break the bows of the wicked and scatter their chariot or weapons of war in our nation. Let the new face of suffering that is surfacing gradually be aborted before long.

+ We pray that the new government will have a sense of right direction in decision making. That selfish political influences and personal interests will not becloud their decisions.

‭"The Lord is good, a refuge in times of trouble. He cares for those who trust in him"(NIV)

PRAYERS We thank God for His goodness that has brought us this far into the month of June. We appreciate all the victories, grace and provisions we have received. He has saved, rescued and delivered us from troubles of the past 5 months. Glory to his name.

+ In this new Month of June, He will continue to defend, protect and care for us individually and as a church. We pray that His hands will be strong in our lives now as never before. We commit all our endeavors this month into his mighty care for total guidance.

+ We pray for a renewal of our trust in him. That both members and leaders of our church at all levels will be committed and dedicated to trust Him alone. Asking that no situation in the month of June will rob us of our trust in God.

WEDNESDAY 31ST MAY, 2023

SCRIPTURE: 2 Chronicles 15:12
"And they entered into a covenant to seek the Lord, the God of their fathers, and to yearn for Him with all their heart's desire and with all their soul".(AMPF)

PRAYER: We are overwhelmed with joy & gratitude to God for leading us victoriously to the last day of May. We celebrate the progress and success so far in our personal lives, the Church, families and our nation Nigeria. We thank God for the peaceful transition of power at all levels and are Confidence that He will keep His people.

+ We pray that every member of UEC shall see the need to make a covenant with God, rather than the devil.

+ We ask that God's covenant with the present administration of our Church be renewed daily for more progress, achievements and exploits. We pray for total soundness of our leaders, the chairman of Conference & family.
