"Dear God," Two words that say a lot. Words that come from a place of real surrender.

This isn’t just another event. It’s a call, for everyone who cares about Egbe, for anyone who feels the pull to pray. We’re coming together to seek God, to ask for mercy, and to stand in the gap for our land.

God has left the door open, and we've chosen to walk through it, together.

Join us for a 3-day prayer conference. Let’s return to God who has always been our source.

“If my people who are called by my name will humble themselves and pray...” (II Chronicles 7:14)

Dates: September 9–11, 2025
Venue: Centenary Hall, Egbe, Kogi State

This is more than an invite. It’s a call to show up.

Obey Authority Part1

MEMORY VERSE: “Let every soul be subject unto the higher powers. For there is no power but of God: the powers that be are ordained of God” Rom. 13:1.

TEXT: Titus 3:1, Rom. 13:1-7

Someone said everything rises and falls on leadership, and I agreed. However, a leadership system entails followership. Therefore, I think communities and national problems are not solely on poor governance but also poor followership. I know there is a part of you that may want to debate it. But first, relax.
We live in a world that people are quick to offer candid opinions to their leaders and have a thousand reasons to disobey orders. I might not blame them, but it’s not so in God’s kingdom. The leadership system was initiated by God in the Garden of Eden and intended for orderliness, effective management, and accountability. And God put Adam over all that He made and gave him authority over the whole earth.

God has not stopped putting the leader in fields, ministries, communities, and nations for the sake of orderliness and effective management. And Christians are therefore commanded to obey and submit to God through these leaders. Obedience is unto God, but submission is unto men whom God put over us. Let's rise as a believer to obey the authorities over us in righteousness. But please, we have no obligation to an unrighteous course but to stand against it for Christ' sake.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: Obedience is unto God, but submission is unto men whom God put over us.

PRAYER: Father, help me to obey the authorities you have placed over me.

Presenting Facts in Prayers

MEMORY VERSE: “Produce your cause, saith the LORD; bring forth your strong reasons, saith the King of Jacob” Isaiah 41:21.

TEXT: Isaiah 41:21
No man goes to law court without a case; a case is a reason with facts. One of the reasons many don't have the desired result in prayers is because there is no strong reason (truth/biblical facts) for their request to get granted.
Many believers wish to live in health but cannot give a reason their body system should align to their wish by God’s word. Some want to break loose from lack and poverty but don’t know what to tell poverty to leave them.
Friends, Can I tell you the truth about the things you’ve been trusting in God to have, which seem to be impossible? Please, start trusting God for the scriptural revelation that would make you a master in that area. Until you can produce strong reason (biblical truth) why sickness should bow, even headache will not submit to you. The revelation of God's word is the key to our reign and rule in this world.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: Revelation of God's word is the key to reign and rule in this world.

PRAYER: Father, help me to have light from your word.
