All the blessings we seek from Olódùmarè,
may He grant them to us with ease and peace.

The blessings we already have will not be lost and spoiled.

Those we have not yet received, Olódùmarè will provide and grant it for us.

We will continue to gain good relationships,support and our blessings will keep increasing.

Sudden death will not come near us not to our children, our spouses, or ourselves.
We will not experience untimely or tragic death,
nor will we die in suffering or affliction.

We will not become slaves to sickness;
illness will not overtake us, our families and our loved ones.

I pray on this sacred Ose ifa (ifa worship day) that complete and lasting peace will be ours forever and ever.

On this sacred Ose ifa day I pray Ifa should bring peace to My Ori, strength to My journey, and open doors of blessings, favor, protection, and long life.

I pray Ifa should remove every obstacle on my path and replace sorrow with joy, lack with abundance, and delay with progress.

My sacrifices (Ebo/Ibo) and prayers should be accepted accepted, and may the blessings of the ancestors and the orishas that owns today never depart from my homes.

A car may have enough fuel to reach its destination, yet along the journey it can still face flat tyres, engine problems, or obstacles on the road.

Life is the same.
Having dreams and strength is not enough,challenges will still come.

What matters is your ability to stop, fix what is broken, rise again, and keep moving forward. Delays are not the end of the journey.

Every setback is just a reminder to repair yourself, refocus, and continue toward your destination.

In the same way, Ebo and deep spiritual commitment to Ifá help strengthen one’s journey through life.

They provide guidance, protection, clarity, and the spiritual support needed to overcome unseen obstacles on the path.

That is the irony and beauty of life .

Ifá is the witness of our destiny.

Before we come into the world, we pass through a sacred path where we choose our destiny. Ifá is present as a witness to that moment.
Because Ifá knows what was chosen, it understands what must be done and what may be causing challenges in life. Through its wisdom, Ifá helps to correct a troubled destiny and restore balance to one’s life, that's why ifa is called :-

(Eleri ipin ,atun ori eniti ko sun won se).

when things are not going well, it is Ifá the witness of destiny that one calls, so that destiny may be corrected and one’s Ori may be properly aligned.

Ifá is the storyteller of existence.
Ifá is wisdom.
Ifá is knowledge.
Ifá is the pathway of life.
Ifá is the one who supports. and guides us.
Ifá is the one who listens to our voice and understands our concerns.
Ifá is the one who stands by us and helps us all through.

HARDWORKING

The ODU OSA ONIBU says

Ìṣẹ́ ẹni ni ìtọ́jú,
Owó ẹni ni ìbeere.
Bí gbọndo-gbọndo bá ń gbondò,
Omi ata sì wọ́n lójú,
Omi á tà á sí wọn lẹ́nu.

There is no shortcut to success in life.
True success is built on hard work, consistency, and discipline.

You must be willing to put in the effort. Nothing meaningful comes easily.
Yes, it may seem discouraging especially in a place like Nigeria where many hardworking people still struggle due to the condition of society and the impact of leadership on the youth.

It can sometimes feel like hard work does not pay. But even in such a system, choosing shortcuts is far more dangerous.

Shortcuts may bring quick gains, but they often lead to regret, destruction, or even a shortened life in the end.
Hard work, on the other hand, builds character, stability, and lasting success.

From the very foundation of Yoruba culture, we are taught the values of truth (òtítọ́), honesty, and patience (sùúrù). These are not just moral teachings—they are the pillars of a meaningful life.

As our elders say, “Àforítì ni kọ́kọ́”—endurance and patience come first.

And never forget this timeless wisdom: “Ìṣẹ́ ẹni là fi ń dé ibi gíga” — it is through one’s own effort that we attain great heights.
Stay diligent. Stay truthful. Stay patient. Your time will come.

But beyond hard work, Ifá teaches that effort must be supported spiritually.

A person may labor day and night, yet without alignment with destiny (àyànmọ́) and spiritual backing, such effort can become fruitless.

This is why guidance from Ifá is important. Through divination, sacrifice (ẹbọ)(Ibo), and right conduct, one clears away unseen obstacles, evil manipulation, and negative forces that may block progress. Ifá does not replace hard work—it strengthens it, protects it, and gives it direction.
When you combine:
Hard work (ìṣẹ́ takuntakun)
Good character (ìwà pẹ̀lẹ́)
Patience (sùúrù)
And spiritual alignment through Ifá
your journey becomes guided, protected, and purposeful.
So you will not work in vain.
You will not struggle without result.
Your efforts will not be wasted.
