A Call for Peace, Unity, Good Governance and Responsible Citizenship

Ede South, Osun State August 16, 2026

The Transformation Generation Church Inc., Ede South, Osun State, congratulates the people of Osun State on the conclusion of the 2026 Osun State Governorship Election and congratulates Governor Ademola Adeleke of the Accord Party on his re-election.

The election, held on Saturday, August 15, 2026, culminated in the declaration of Governor Ademola Adeleke as the winner after the collation of results from the 30 Local Government Areas of the state. The State Returning Officer, Prof. Joshua Olalekan Ogunwole, declared Adeleke the winner with 511,067 votes, ahead of Bola Oyebamiji of the All Progressives Congress (APC), who scored 444,815 votes, while Najeem Salaam of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) polled 17,180 votes. Adeleke's winning margin over Oyebamiji was 66,252 votes.

The result showed a competitive electoral contest across the state. According to the reported final collation, Adeleke won 19 of the state's 30 Local Government Areas, while Oyebamiji won 11. Significantly, Adeleke recorded a strong result in Ede South, where he secured 26,188 votes against Oyebamiji's 6,219 votes.

OUR MESSAGE TO GOVERNOR ADELEKE

As a church committed to spiritual transformation, leadership development, peace, and community impact, we congratulate Governor Ademola Adeleke on receiving the mandate of the electorate for another term.

This victory comes with an even greater responsibility to serve all the people of Osun State, irrespective of political party, religion, ethnicity, social status, or voting preference.

We therefore encourage the Governor to use the renewed mandate to promote:

- Good governance and accountability;
- Peace and security across Osun State;
- Quality education and youth development;
- Healthcare and social welfare;
- Economic opportunities and support for small businesses;
- Infrastructure development;
- Employment and skills development;
- Inclusive governance;
- Protection of vulnerable citizens; and
- Sustainable development across all Local Government Areas.

Leadership is ultimately measured not only by the celebration of victory but by the quality of service rendered after victory.

Now is the time to move beyond political campaigns and return our attention to the development of our communities.

The responsibility for building a peaceful and prosperous state does not rest solely on government. Citizens, religious institutions, traditional leaders, businesses, civil society organizations, professionals, young people, and community groups all have important roles to play.

We encourage citizens to remain responsible, peaceful, law-abiding, and constructive in their engagement with government.

THE CHURCH'S CALL FOR PEACE

The Transformation Generation Church Inc. strongly encourages every resident of Osun State to reject political violence, hate speech, intimidation, retaliation, and destruction of property.

We must remember that political opponents are not enemies. After every election, we remain neighbours, colleagues, friends, family members, and citizens of the same state.

Our political differences should never destroy our human relationships.

Peace must be greater than politics.

PRAYER FOR OSUN STATE

As a church, we pray that God will grant Governor Ademola Adeleke wisdom, humility, courage, integrity, and the capacity to lead effectively.

We pray for wisdom for members of the State Executive Council, the House of Assembly, Local Government leadership, traditional institutions, and all public officials.

We pray that Osun State will experience peace, economic growth, justice, security, educational advancement, improved healthcare, youth empowerment, and sustainable development.

We also pray for the opposition and all political stakeholders, that they will continue to contribute constructively to the growth of the state.

Motivational Thought
Sometimes you can do the right thing and still be misunderstood. You can help someone who later turns against you, sacrifice for people who forget what you did, or pursue a good purpose that is eventually interpreted negatively. Leadership requires more than good intentions; it requires wisdom, discernment, boundaries, and the grace to keep your heart right when your good is repaid with evil.

Scripture
“And David behaved himself wisely in all his ways; and the Lord was with him.” 1 Samuel 18:14 (KJV)

One of the most painful experiences in leadership is discovering that something you did with a sincere heart has been interpreted as something bad. You helped someone, and they called it manipulation. You corrected someone because you cared, and they called it criticism. You opened a door for someone, and later they used that same opportunity against you. You defended someone when they were vulnerable, only to discover that they eventually became one of the people attacking you. You gave your time, resources, influence, and energy to build something, yet when things changed, people questioned your motives. Leadership can be painful because leaders work with people, and people do not always interpret our intentions correctly. David understood this reality. David served Saul faithfully. He fought battles for Israel. He risked his life for the kingdom. He brought victory to the nation. He behaved wisely. Yet the same king whom David served eventually became jealous of him and sought to destroy him. David's good did not immediately produce appreciation. His success produced suspicion. His loyalty produced opposition. His excellence created jealousy. That is an important lesson for every leader: Doing good does not guarantee that everyone will respond well to your goodness. Sometimes your good will be misunderstood. Sometimes your sacrifice will be forgotten. Sometimes your generosity will be abused. Sometimes your loyalty will be questioned. And sometimes people will rewrite the story because they no longer benefit from your kindness. But do not allow someone else's response to corrupt your character.

1. Examine Your Motives Before becoming defensive, honestly examine your heart. “But the Lord looketh on the heart.” 1 Samuel 16:7 (KJV) Ask yourself: Was I genuinely trying to serve, or was I seeking recognition, control, or approval? Honest self-examination protects leaders from defending motives that were never pure.

2. Keep Doing What Is Right Do not abandon righteousness because someone responded wrongly. “Depart from evil, and do good; seek peace, and pursue it.” Psalm 34:14 (KJV) Your character should not depend on people's appreciation.

3. Add Discernment to Your Kindness Being good does not mean being naïve. “Behold, I send you forth as sheep in the midst of wolves: be ye therefore wise as serpents, and harmless as doves.” Matthew 10:16 (KJV) Be compassionate, but remain wise.

4. Establish Healthy Boundaries You can love people without allowing them to continually misuse you. “Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life.” Proverbs 4:23 (KJV) Healthy boundaries protect your ability to continue serving effectively.

5. Refuse Revenge Being mistreated does not give you permission to become destructive. “Recompense to no man evil for evil.” Romans 12:17 (KJV) Leave vengeance in God's hands and preserve your integrity.

6. Let God Defend Your Character You do not need to win every argument about yourself. “Commit thy way unto the Lord; trust also in him; and he shall bring it to pass.” Psalm 37:5 (KJV) When your heart is right and your actions are faithful, trust God with the outcome.

Daily Declaration
I declare that I will remain faithful to God even when my good is misunderstood or repaid with evil. I refuse to allow betrayal, rejection, criticism, or disappointment to corrupt my character. I receive wisdom to love people without losing discernment, to forgive without abandoning healthy boundaries, and to serve without becoming controlled by people's approval. My heart will remain free from bitterness and revenge. I will continue to do what is right, lead with integrity, serve with compassion, and walk in wisdom. God will defend my cause, establish my steps, and reward my faithfulness.

Prayer
Heavenly Father, Thank You for teaching me to love, serve, forgive, and do good. You know the times when I have been misunderstood, rejected, betrayed, or hurt by people I sincerely tried to help.

Topic The Hand of God

Motivational Thought
There are things you can accomplish through talent, education, experience, connections, and hard work. But there are dimensions of leadership that require something greater than human ability.

Scripture
“And the hand of the Lord was upon Elijah; and he girded up his loins, and ran before Ahab to the entrance of Jezreel.” 1 Kings 18:46 (NKJV)

Leadership becomes powerful when human responsibility meets divine enablement. You must do your part. You must prepare. You must work. You must learn. You must remain disciplined. But you must also recognize that your ultimate strength comes from God. Divine empowerment is not an excuse for laziness. The fact that God's hand is upon you does not mean you should stop preparing. Faith does not eliminate diligence. Prayer does not replace discipline. Anointing does not replace character. God's favor does not excuse poor stewardship. The hand of God works through prepared people. David was anointed to become king, but he still had to develop his courage in the wilderness. Joseph had a divine destiny, but he still had to demonstrate integrity in Potiphar's house and in prison. Nehemiah had a burden from God, but he still planned, organized, communicated, and worked. God gives the grace. You must provide the obedience. God provides the strength. You must provide the willingness. God opens the door. You must have the courage to walk through it. Divine enablement and human responsibility work together. Leadership is not simply about knowing where you want to go. It is about knowing where God wants you to go. Many leaders make decisions based entirely on opportunities. But not every opportunity is an assignment. Some doors are attractive but distracting.bSome opportunities look profitable but are inconsistent with your purpose. Some relationships appear beneficial but may take you away from God's direction. A leader who depends on God's hand learns to ask: “Lord, is this what You want me to do?” The hand of God gives direction when human understanding is limited. “In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths.” Proverbs 3:6 (NKJV) Before making major decisions, seek God. Before accepting major responsibilities, seek God. Before entering significant relationships, seek God. Before expanding, seek God. A successful decision is not merely one that produces results. It is one that aligns with God's purpose. There are moments when leadership becomes physically, emotionally, and spiritually demanding. You may become tired. You may become discouraged. You may wonder whether you can continue. Do not be ashamed to acknowledge your limitations. Human strength has boundaries. But God's strength does not. “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.”
Philippians 4:13 (NKJV) Sometimes God does not remove the assignment. He strengthens the person carrying it. You may not feel strong today. You may not have every answer. You may not know exactly how everything will work out. But you can keep moving because your strength does not come from yourself alone. The hand of the Lord can sustain you where your strength ends. There are doors that effort alone cannot open. There are opportunities that qualifications alone cannot secure. There are rooms you cannot enter simply because you are talented. Sometimes what you need is divine favor. Nehemiah experienced this when he received favor before the king. The presence of opposition does not mean the absence of God. Sometimes God allows you to walk through difficult environments while keeping His hand upon you. Your responsibility is to remain faithful. Do not become distracted by every voice. Do not abandon your assignment because someone misunderstood you. Do not allow criticism to destroy your character. Stay focused. Stay prayerful. Stay faithful. There are seasons when progress seems slow. You have worked. You have prayed. You have prepared. You have remained faithful. Yet the results seem smaller than your expectations. Then suddenly, God can cause things to move with unusual speed. Elijah experienced supernatural acceleration. “And the hand of the Lord was upon Elijah.”
1 Kings 18:46 (NKJV) Divine acceleration does not mean God will always make everything happen instantly. It means that when God's appointed time arrives, He can accomplish in a short period what years of human effort could not accomplish alone. Therefore, do not despise your preparation season. Keep building. Keep learning. Keep serving. Keep praying. When God's timing meets your preparation, extraordinary progress can follow.

1. Depend on God Beyond Your Ability Your skills are valuable, but they are not your ultimate source. “Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding.” Proverbs 3:5 (NKJV) Great leaders know when to work and when to surrender.

2. Seek God's Direction Before Making Major Decisions Do not allow pressure to make decisions that prayer should have informed. “In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths.” Proverbs 3:6 (NKJV) Prayerful leaders make wiser decisions.

3. Prepare for What You Are Praying For Faith should produce preparation. “The plans of the diligent lead surely to plenty.” Proverbs 21:5 (NKJV) Do not pray for an opportunity while refusing to develop the capacity to handle it.

4. Walk in Humility When God's hand produces results through you, give Him the glory. “God resists the proud, but gives grace to the humble.” James 4:6 (NKJV) The greater your influence becomes, the deeper your humility should become.

5. Remain Faithful When Results Are Slow God's hand is still upon you even when progress is not obvious. “Let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart.” Galatians 6:9 (NKJV) Do not abandon your assignment because the harvest has not appeared yet.

6. Use God's Favor to Bless Others Divine favor is not merely for personal advancement. “I will bless you... and you shall be a blessing.” Genesis 12:2 (NKJV) When God's hand lifts you, use your position to lift others. The God who gave you the assignment will provide grace for the assignment. The God who opened the door will give you wisdom to walk through it. The God who started the work is able to sustain it. There will be days when you feel strong. There will also be days when you feel exhausted. There will be moments when everything works. There will be moments when nothing seems to make sense. But through every season, keep your heart connected to God. Pray before you lead. Seek God before you decide. Trust Him before you move. Depend on Him while you work. Give Him glory when you succeed. And when you become tired, return to His presence. The hand of the Lord is your strength. You are not leading alone.

DAILY DECLARATION
I declare that the hand of the Lord is upon my life, my leadership, my family, my work, and every assignment entrusted to me. I receive divine strength to accomplish what God has called me to do. I receive wisdom for every decision, courage for every challenge, grace for every responsibility, and favor for every door God has prepared for me.

PRAYER
Heavenly Father, Thank You for calling me to lead and serve according to Your purpose. Today, I acknowledge that I cannot fulfill my assignment by human strength alone. I need Your hand upon my life. Strengthen me where I am weak. Give me wisdom where I lack understanding.

Topic Exceeding Grace

Motivational Thought
Grace is God's divine enablement that empowers ordinary people to accomplish extraordinary assignments. Great leaders do not succeed because they possess superior strength, intelligence, or resources; they succeed because they rely on the exceeding grace of God.

Scripture
"And God is able to make all grace abound toward you, that you, always having all sufficiency in all things, may have an abundance for every good work." 2 Corinthians 9:8 (NKJV)

Welcome to the month of August grace will speak for you, progress will cloth you you and your family this month in Jesus Christ name.
Leadership often presents responsibilities that exceed human ability. There are seasons when the demands are greater than your experience, the challenges seem overwhelming, and the expectations placed upon you appear impossible to fulfill. It is in those moments that you discover the true meaning of God's grace. Grace is far more than unmerited favor. It is God's supernatural strength working through human weakness. It is His divine ability enabling you to accomplish what you could never achieve on your own. The Apostle Paul understood this truth. He faced relentless persecution, hardship, imprisonment, and opposition. Yet he remained faithful because he learned that God's grace was sufficient in every circumstance.

The Lord said to him, "My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness." Paul eventually realized that his limitations became opportunities for God's power to be revealed. This is the secret of effective leadership. Leaders who depend only on their abilities eventually become exhausted. Leaders who depend on God's grace continue to flourish, even in difficult seasons. Moses needed grace to lead Israel. Joshua needed grace to conquer the Promised Land. Nehemiah needed grace to rebuild Jerusalem's walls. Esther needed grace to stand before the king.

Jesus Himself demonstrated complete dependence upon the Father throughout His earthly ministry. None of these leaders relied solely on natural ability. They relied upon God's enabling grace. Many people mistakenly believe that greater leadership requires greater self-confidence. In reality, greater leadership requires greater dependence upon God. Grace strengthens you when your energy is depleted. Grace gives wisdom when human understanding is insufficient. Grace opens doors that qualifications cannot open. Grace restores you after failure and gives you courage to continue. No assignment God gives you is beyond the reach of His grace. If He has called you, He will equip you. If He has appointed you, He will sustain you. Do not allow your weaknesses to become excuses. Allow them to become opportunities for God's glory. Stop focusing on what you lack. Start depending on the One who lacks nothing. When God's exceeding grace rests upon your life, impossible assignments become possible, impossible doors begin to open, and impossible victories become your testimony. Walk boldly. Lead confidently. Serve faithfully. God's grace is more than enough.

1. Depend on God's Grace Daily Leadership is sustained by divine enablement, not human effort. "My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness." 2 Corinthians 12:9 (NKJV) Leaders who rely on God's grace never walk alone.

2. Allow Weakness to Reveal God's Strength Your limitations create opportunities for God's power. "When I am weak, then I am strong." 2 Corinthians 12:10 (NKJV) God often displays His greatest power through surrendered lives.

3. Lead with Humility Grace flows most freely through humble hearts. "God resists the proud, but gives grace to the humble." James 4:6 (NKJV) Humility invites greater measures of God's grace.

4. Trust God's Ability Above Your Own God's resources are greater than your limitations. "Not by might nor by power, but by My Spirit," says the Lord of hosts. Zechariah 4:6 (NKJV) Spirit-empowered leadership produces lasting results.

5. Extend Grace to Others. The grace you receive should be reflected in how you lead others. "Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God in Christ forgave you." Ephesians 4:32 (NKJV) Grace-filled leaders build people instead of breaking them.

6. Finish Every Assignment by God's Grace Faithfulness is possible because God's grace never fails. "By the grace of God I am what I am, and His grace toward me was not in vain." 1 Corinthians 15:10 (NKJV) God's grace empowers leaders to finish well. Remember that God never intended you to carry His assignment without His help. The same grace that called you is the grace that will sustain you. Do not measure your future by your present limitations. Measure it by the greatness of the God who has called you. Every obstacle is an opportunity to experience fresh grace. Every challenge is an invitation to trust Him more deeply. Walk into every meeting, every decision, every responsibility, and every challenge with confidence not because you are sufficient, but because God's grace is sufficient. His grace will strengthen you. His grace will guide you. His grace will preserve you. His grace will cause you to finish your assignment with joy.

Daily Declaration
I declare that the exceeding grace of God rests upon my life. I receive divine strength, wisdom, favor, and supernatural enablement for every assignment God has entrusted to me. I reject fear, discouragement, inadequacy, and self-dependence. The grace of God empowers me to lead with excellence, humility, courage, and compassion. I will accomplish every purpose God has ordained for my life, and through His grace I will overcome every challenge and fulfill my divine destiny. In the mighty Name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

Prayer
Heavenly Father, thank You for Your exceeding grace that strengthens me beyond my natural ability. I acknowledge that without You I can do nothing. Fill me afresh with Your Holy Spirit and empower me to lead according to Your will. Let Your grace sustain me in every challenge, guide me in every decision, and strengthen me in every season. Help me to depend completely on You and not on my own understanding. Make my life a testimony of Your power, favor, and faithfulness. May everything I accomplish bring glory to Your Name and point others to Jesus Christ. In the mighty Name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

Motivational Thought
The greatest threat to effective leadership is not external opposition but internal emptiness. Leaders who intentionally guard their spiritual lives remain fruitful, impactful, and faithful through every season because they lead from the overflow of God's presence rather than the strength of their own abilities.

Scripture
"Keep your heart with all diligence, for out of it spring the issues of life." Proverbs 4:23 (NKJV)

Every successful leader understands the value of maintenance. A farmer prepares the soil before expecting a harvest. An athlete trains consistently before competing. A pilot carefully inspects every instrument before takeoff. In the same way, every spiritual leader must intentionally guard and nurture the condition of the heart. Leadership is never sustained by yesterday's victories. It is sustained by today's fellowship with God. One of the greatest misconceptions among leaders is believing that yesterday's spiritual experiences are sufficient for today's assignments. Yesterday's anointing cannot replace today's intimacy. Yesterday's revelation cannot sustain today's battles. Each day brings new responsibilities, fresh challenges, important decisions, and opportunities to influence lives. Therefore, every day requires fresh communion with God.

King David understood this principle. Although he was a mighty king, a courageous warrior, and a gifted worshipper, he continually sought God's presence. His prayer was not merely for success but for spiritual renewal: "Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a steadfast spirit within me." Psalm 51:10 David recognized that leadership begins in the heart. When the heart drifts away from God, leadership gradually loses its spiritual authority and effectiveness. Many leaders do not fail suddenly in public; they first decline privately. Compromise rarely begins on a platform. It usually begins in the secret place, where prayer becomes occasional, the Scriptures remain unopened, worship becomes routine, and dependence upon God is quietly replaced by confidence in personal ability. The enemy is less concerned about your title than he is about your spiritual condition. If he can weaken your prayer life, distract your focus, diminish your hunger for God's Word, and cool your passion for His presence, he knows your influence will eventually decline.

Therefore, guard your spiritual life diligently. Protect your quiet time with God. Feed your soul daily with His Word. Remain sensitive to the conviction and leading of the Holy Spirit. Walk in humility. Stay accountable. Repent quickly whenever God corrects you. Leadership flourishes where holiness is treasured. Never become so familiar with ministry that you lose your passion for Christ. Never allow service to replace worship.

Never allow activity to replace intimacy. Never allow success to replace surrender. The greatest leaders are not merely those who accomplish remarkable things. They are those who continually walk with God. When your heart remains close to Him, your leadership will consistently reflect His wisdom, integrity, compassion, discernment, humility, and power. Protect your inner life. Everything else flows from it.

1. Guard Your Heart Daily. Your heart determines the quality and longevity of your leadership. "Keep your heart with all diligence, for out of it spring the issues of life." Proverbs 4:23 (NKJV) Healthy hearts produce healthy leadership.

2. Remain Spiritually Hungry Never become satisfied with yesterday's encounter with God. "Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they shall be filled." Matthew 5:6 (NKJV) A continual hunger for God invites continual spiritual renewal.

3. Cultivate Daily Fellowship with God Consistency in God's presence builds lasting spiritual strength. "Draw near to God and He will draw near to you." James 4:8 (NKJV) Daily communion with God produces steady and dependable leadership.

4. Walk in Humility Depend upon God's grace rather than your own ability. "God resists the proud, but gives grace to the humble." James 4:6 (NKJV) Humility keeps leaders teachable, usable, and spiritually healthy.

5. Remain Sensitive to the Holy Spirit. Allow God to direct every decision and every step. "For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are sons of God." Romans 8:14 (NKJV) Spirit-led leaders produce Spirit-inspired results.

6. End Every Day in God's Presence do not allow the pressures of leadership to pull you away from the One who called you. "Abide in Me, and I in you." John 15:4 (NKJV) Abiding in Christ is the secret to lasting fruitfulness. Are you leading from spiritual overflow or merely relying on experience and routine. People may admire your gifts, but they are transformed by the presence of God upon your life. Guard your secret place. Protect your devotion. Value your prayer life. Meditate consistently on God's Word. Remain sensitive to the Holy Spirit. A leader whose heart remains close to God will never lack the wisdom, strength, and grace required for life's greatest challenges. Your greatest influence will always flow from your deepest intimacy with Christ. Walk closely with Him. Lead faithfully. Finish well.

Daily Declaration
I declare that my heart belongs completely to God. I will diligently guard my spiritual life and remain steadfast in prayer, worship, and the study of His Word. I reject spiritual dryness, distraction, pride, compromise, and complacency. The Holy Spirit continually fills me with wisdom, discernment, holiness, strength, and fresh anointing. My leadership flows from intimacy with Christ, and my life will continually bear fruit that glorifies God, strengthens His people, and impacts generations. In the mighty Name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

Prayer
Heavenly Father, thank You for calling me to lead according to Your divine purpose. Help me to guard my heart above all else and remain faithful in my walk with You. Renew my passion for prayer, deepen my hunger for Your Word, and increase my sensitivity to the Holy Spirit. Keep me from pride, compromise, distraction, and spiritual complacency. Let my leadership always flow from a life that is completely surrendered to You. Fill me daily with Your wisdom, grace, strength, and fresh anointing so that I may lead with integrity, humility, compassion, and unwavering faithfulness. May my life continually reflect the character of Jesus Christ and bring glory to Your holy Name. In the mighty Name of Jesus Christ, Amen.
