Motivational Thought
A victorious Christian is not someone who never faces problems, temptation, disappointment, or opposition. A victorious Christian is someone who knows where his strength comes from and refuses to allow life's battles to define his identity, destroy his faith, or control his decisions.

Scripture
“Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us.” Romans 8:37 (NKJV)

Christianity is not a promise that life will always be easy. Following Christ does not mean you will never face opposition. You may experience disappointment. You may be misunderstood.You may face financial pressure. You may experience rejection. You may encounter temptation. You may go through seasons when your prayers seem unanswered. But none of these things changes the victory that Christ has already won. Jesus defeated sin. Jesus conquered death. Jesus overcame the power of darkness. Jesus rose from the grave. And because we belong to Him, we do not fight for victory as though victory has not been won. We fight from the position of victory. This understanding is important for every Christian leader. A leader who does not understand his identity in Christ can easily become controlled by circumstances. When things go well, he becomes confident.When things go wrong, he becomes discouraged. When people praise him, he feels valuable. When people criticize him, he feels worthless. But victorious Christian living produces a deeper stability. Your confidence is not based on applause. Your identity is not based on position. Your joy is not based entirely on circumstances. Your hope is not based on human approval. Your foundation is Christ.

1. Victory Begins With Knowing Who You Are in Christ. One of the greatest battles Christians face is an identity battle. The enemy wants you to define yourself by your failures, weaknesses, mistakes, past, circumstances, or people's opinions. But God sees you differently. “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.” 2 Corinthians 5:17 (NKJV) You are not your worst mistake. You are not your greatest disappointment. When you know who you are, you do not have to spend your life trying to prove yourself to everybody.

2. A Victorious Christian Learns to Overcome Temptation Victory does not mean temptation disappears. Even Jesus was tempted. The difference is that temptation does not have to become sin. “No temptation has overtaken you except such as is common to man; but God is faithful.” 1 Corinthians 10:13 (NKJV)bYou can remove yourself from the environment. You can say no. A victorious Christian understands that self-control is not weakness. It is strength under control.

3. Victory Requires Renewing Your Mind Many battles are won or lost in the mind before they ever become visible in our behavior. If you continually think defeat, you may eventually live like someone who has been defeated. “And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind.” Romans 12:2 (NKJV) Do not allow every negative voice to occupy your mind. A renewed mind produces a renewed life.

4. Victory Does Not Mean the Absence of Battles Sometimes Christians become discouraged because they think difficulties mean God has abandoned them. But the presence of a battle does not mean the absence of God. David still faced Goliath. Daniel still faced the lions. The disciples still faced storms. Paul still experienced opposition. “In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.” John 16:33 (NKJV) Therefore, when trouble comes, do not immediately conclude that you have lost. Trust God. Keep moving. The battle may be real, but so is God's power.

5. Victorious Christians Refuse to Be Controlled by Offense Leadership exposes you to people. And people can hurt you. Someone may misunderstand your intentions. Someone may betray your trust. “And whenever you stand praying, if you have anything against anyone, forgive him.” Mark 11:25 (NKJV) Forgiveness does not mean pretending the hurt did not happen. It means refusing to allow the hurt to become your master. Do not allow someone who hurt you yesterday to control your heart today.

6. Victory Requires Faith During Difficult Seasons Faith is easy to talk about when everything is working. The real test comes when circumstances contradict what you are hoping for. “For we walk by faith, not by sight.” 2 Corinthians 5:7 (NKJV) There may be moments when you cannot see the answer. Keep trusting. There may be moments when you cannot understand the process..Keep trusting. There may be moments when the door has not opened. It requires you to trust the One who does.

Daily Declaration
I am victorious through Jesus Christ. I will not live as a defeated person because Christ has overcome the world. I have strength to resist temptation, wisdom to make right decisions, courage to face challenges, and grace to overcome every obstacle.

Prayer
Heavenly Father, thank You for the victory You have given me through Jesus Christ. Thank You that I do not have to live under the control of fear, sin, condemnation, discouragement, or the opinions of people. Help me to finish my race with faith, integrity, courage, and joy. In Jesus' Name, Amen.

World Su***de Prevention Day 2026

Changing the Narrative on Su***de: Start the Conversation

World Su***de Prevention Day is observed every year on 10 September to raise awareness about su***de, reduce stigma, encourage compassionate conversations, and promote practical action to prevent su***de. The 2024–2026 campaign theme is “Changing the Narrative on Su***de,” with the call to action “Start the Conversation.”

Su***de is not simply a personal issue; it is a serious public-health and community concern. The World Health Organization estimates that more than 720,000 people die by su***de every year worldwide, with devastating effects extending to families, friends, workplaces, churches, schools, and entire communities.

We Must Change the Conversation
For many years, conversations about su***de have been surrounded by fear, shame, misunderstanding, and stigma. People experiencing overwhelming emotional pain may remain silent because they are afraid of being judged, rejected, misunderstood, or labelled.

Changing the narrative means creating an environment where people can say, “I am struggling,” and be met with compassion rather than condemnation.

Sometimes, the most important intervention begins with a simple question:

“How are you really doing?”

A genuine conversation can open the door to support. Listening without immediately judging, criticizing, preaching, or dismissing someone's feelings can help a struggling person feel seen and valued.

Hope Must Become Visible
Su***de prevention is not only about responding when someone is already in crisis. It is also about building communities where people have access to emotional support, mental-health care, meaningful relationships, safety, and hope.

The WHO emphasizes that su***de can be prevented and identifies evidence-based approaches that include timely emotional support, access to appropriate care, and measures that reduce access to highly lethal means during periods of crisis. Families, churches, schools, government agencies, health professionals, community organizations, and individuals all have a role to play.

The Church Has a Role to Play
Faith communities can become places where people find acceptance, hope, prayer, practical support, and connection.

However, spiritual support should work alongside appropriate professional care when someone is experiencing serious psychological distress or suicidal thoughts. We must never tell someone to simply “pray harder” or suggest that seeking mental-health care demonstrates a lack of faith.

A compassionate church should be willing to listen, pray, refer, support, and follow up.

What Can We Do?
On World Su***de Prevention Day, let us:

Start conversations about mental health without judgment.

Listen carefully when someone says they are struggling.

Take expressions of hopelessness or thoughts of su***de seriously.

Encourage people in distress to seek qualified professional help.

Strengthen family, friendship, church, school, and community support systems.

Challenge stigma and harmful myths surrounding su***de.

Promote mental-health education, particularly among young people.

Check on people who may be isolated, grieving, overwhelmed, or experiencing major life difficulties.

Advocate for stronger mental-health and su***de-prevention services.

The International Association for Su***de Prevention describes 2026 as the third and final year of the “Changing the Narrative on Su***de” campaign, emphasizing open conversations, connection, collaboration, and collective action.

A Message of Hope
If you are going through a difficult season, your present pain does not have to define your future. You do not have to carry everything alone.

Talk to someone you trust. Reach out to a qualified health professional or mental-health service. If you believe you may act on suicidal thoughts or are in immediate danger, seek emergency help or go to the nearest emergency department now.
And if someone comes to you in distress, don't disappear behind judgment. Stay, listen, take them seriously, and help connect them with appropriate support.

One conversation may open a door to help.
One person who chooses to listen may give someone another reason to hold on. One compassionate community can help change a life.

Let's change the narrative.
Let's end the silence.
Let's reject stigma.
Let's start the conversation.
Let's choose compassion.
Let's promote hope.
Let's work together to prevent su***de.

THE TRANSFORMATION GENERATION CHURCH INC. COMMENDS OSUN VOTERS, CONGRATULATES GOVERNOR ADELEKE ON RE-ELECTION

A Call for Peace, Unity, Good Governance and Responsible Citizenship

Ede South, Osun State August 16, 2026

The Transformation Generation Church Inc., Ede South, Osun State, congratulates the people of Osun State on the conclusion of the 2026 Osun State Governorship Election and congratulates Governor Ademola Adeleke of the Accord Party on his re-election.

The election, held on Saturday, August 15, 2026, culminated in the declaration of Governor Ademola Adeleke as the winner after the collation of results from the 30 Local Government Areas of the state. The State Returning Officer, Prof. Joshua Olalekan Ogunwole, declared Adeleke the winner with 511,067 votes, ahead of Bola Oyebamiji of the All Progressives Congress (APC), who scored 444,815 votes, while Najeem Salaam of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) polled 17,180 votes. Adeleke's winning margin over Oyebamiji was 66,252 votes.

The result showed a competitive electoral contest across the state. According to the reported final collation, Adeleke won 19 of the state's 30 Local Government Areas, while Oyebamiji won 11. Significantly, Adeleke recorded a strong result in Ede South, where he secured 26,188 votes against Oyebamiji's 6,219 votes.

OUR MESSAGE TO GOVERNOR ADELEKE

As a church committed to spiritual transformation, leadership development, peace, and community impact, we congratulate Governor Ademola Adeleke on receiving the mandate of the electorate for another term.

This victory comes with an even greater responsibility to serve all the people of Osun State, irrespective of political party, religion, ethnicity, social status, or voting preference.

We therefore encourage the Governor to use the renewed mandate to promote:

- Good governance and accountability;
- Peace and security across Osun State;
- Quality education and youth development;
- Healthcare and social welfare;
- Economic opportunities and support for small businesses;
- Infrastructure development;
- Employment and skills development;
- Inclusive governance;
- Protection of vulnerable citizens; and
- Sustainable development across all Local Government Areas.

Leadership is ultimately measured not only by the celebration of victory but by the quality of service rendered after victory.

A MESSAGE TO ALL POLITICAL PARTIES AND CANDIDATES

The Transformation Generation Church Inc. also commends all candidates, political parties, electoral officials, security personnel, observers, volunteers, journalists, and citizens who participated in the electoral process.

To the candidates and supporters who did not emerge victorious, we encourage you to continue contributing positively to the development of Osun State. Democracy is bigger than any individual election, and political participation should remain focused on the common good.

Political competition must never become a reason for hatred, violence, division, or destruction.

A MESSAGE TO THE PEOPLE OF OSUN STATE

The people have spoken through the ballot.

Now is the time to move beyond political campaigns and return our attention to the development of our communities.

Osun State belongs to all of us.

The responsibility for building a peaceful and prosperous state does not rest solely on government. Citizens, religious institutions, traditional leaders, businesses, civil society organizations, professionals, young people, and community groups all have important roles to play.

We encourage citizens to remain responsible, peaceful, law-abiding, and constructive in their engagement with government.

THE CHURCH'S CALL FOR PEACE

The Transformation Generation Church Inc. strongly encourages every resident of Osun State to reject political violence, hate speech, intimidation, retaliation, and destruction of property.

We must remember that political opponents are not enemies. After every election, we remain neighbours, colleagues, friends, family members, and citizens of the same state.

Our political differences should never destroy our human relationships.

Peace must be greater than politics.

PRAYER FOR OSUN STATE

As a church, we pray that God will grant Governor Ademola Adeleke wisdom, humility, courage, integrity, and the capacity to lead effectively.

We pray for wisdom for members of the State Executive Council, the House of Assembly, Local Government leadership, traditional institutions, and all public officials.

We pray that Osun State will experience peace, economic growth, justice, security, educational advancement, improved healthcare, youth empowerment, and sustainable development.

We also pray for the opposition and all political stakeholders, that they will continue to contribute constructively to the growth of the state.

Topic When your good become evil

Motivational Thought
Sometimes you can do the right thing and still be misunderstood. You can help someone who later turns against you, sacrifice for people who forget what you did, or pursue a good purpose that is eventually interpreted negatively. Leadership requires more than good intentions; it requires wisdom, discernment, boundaries, and the grace to keep your heart right when your good is repaid with evil.

Scripture
“And David behaved himself wisely in all his ways; and the Lord was with him.” 1 Samuel 18:14 (KJV)

One of the most painful experiences in leadership is discovering that something you did with a sincere heart has been interpreted as something bad. You helped someone, and they called it manipulation. You corrected someone because you cared, and they called it criticism. You opened a door for someone, and later they used that same opportunity against you. You defended someone when they were vulnerable, only to discover that they eventually became one of the people attacking you. You gave your time, resources, influence, and energy to build something, yet when things changed, people questioned your motives. Leadership can be painful because leaders work with people, and people do not always interpret our intentions correctly. David understood this reality. David served Saul faithfully. He fought battles for Israel. He risked his life for the kingdom. He brought victory to the nation. He behaved wisely. Yet the same king whom David served eventually became jealous of him and sought to destroy him. David's good did not immediately produce appreciation. His success produced suspicion. His loyalty produced opposition. His excellence created jealousy. That is an important lesson for every leader: Doing good does not guarantee that everyone will respond well to your goodness. Sometimes your good will be misunderstood. Sometimes your sacrifice will be forgotten. Sometimes your generosity will be abused. Sometimes your loyalty will be questioned. And sometimes people will rewrite the story because they no longer benefit from your kindness. But do not allow someone else's response to corrupt your character.

1. Examine Your Motives Before becoming defensive, honestly examine your heart. “But the Lord looketh on the heart.” 1 Samuel 16:7 (KJV) Ask yourself: Was I genuinely trying to serve, or was I seeking recognition, control, or approval? Honest self-examination protects leaders from defending motives that were never pure.

2. Keep Doing What Is Right Do not abandon righteousness because someone responded wrongly. “Depart from evil, and do good; seek peace, and pursue it.” Psalm 34:14 (KJV) Your character should not depend on people's appreciation.

3. Add Discernment to Your Kindness Being good does not mean being naïve. “Behold, I send you forth as sheep in the midst of wolves: be ye therefore wise as serpents, and harmless as doves.” Matthew 10:16 (KJV) Be compassionate, but remain wise.

4. Establish Healthy Boundaries You can love people without allowing them to continually misuse you. “Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life.” Proverbs 4:23 (KJV) Healthy boundaries protect your ability to continue serving effectively.

5. Refuse Revenge Being mistreated does not give you permission to become destructive. “Recompense to no man evil for evil.” Romans 12:17 (KJV) Leave vengeance in God's hands and preserve your integrity.

6. Let God Defend Your Character You do not need to win every argument about yourself. “Commit thy way unto the Lord; trust also in him; and he shall bring it to pass.” Psalm 37:5 (KJV) When your heart is right and your actions are faithful, trust God with the outcome.

Daily Declaration
I declare that I will remain faithful to God even when my good is misunderstood or repaid with evil. I refuse to allow betrayal, rejection, criticism, or disappointment to corrupt my character. I receive wisdom to love people without losing discernment, to forgive without abandoning healthy boundaries, and to serve without becoming controlled by people's approval. My heart will remain free from bitterness and revenge. I will continue to do what is right, lead with integrity, serve with compassion, and walk in wisdom. God will defend my cause, establish my steps, and reward my faithfulness.

Prayer
Heavenly Father, Thank You for teaching me to love, serve, forgive, and do good. You know the times when I have been misunderstood, rejected, betrayed, or hurt by people I sincerely tried to help.
