What an impactful time in the presence of Jehovah today! Our hearts were truly blessed as the youth took over the sanctuary for today's service, diving deep into the word of God from Exodus 13:17-22 and Matthew 3:13-17.

Today, we learned that as young Celestians, we are not walking blindly in this world. Just as God guided the Israelites with a pillar of cloud by day and fire by night, His Holy Spirit is right here to guide our career paths, our academic journeys, and our personal lives.

Both of these passages capture pivotal moments of transition, identity, and divine guidance. While separated by centuries, they share a profound underlying theme: God visibly confirming His presence and direction as His people step into a new chapter.
Here is a breakdown of the themes and lessons from each text, followed by how they beautifully connect.

Exodus 13:17-22 — The Pillar of Cloud and Fire
Context
The Israelites have just been freed from Egypt. Instead of taking the shortest route to the Promised Land (which would mean fighting the Philistines), God leads them the long way through the desert.
Key Themes
• Divine Guidance and Protection: God does not leave the Israelites to navigate the wilderness alone; He provides a tangible, constant guide.
• Sovereign Protection: God reroutes them away from conflict because He knows they aren't ready for war. His delays are often His protections.
Core Lessons
• God’s Route is Better Than the Shortcut: The direct path isn't always the safe path. God considers our limitations and emotional readiness when He guides us.
• He Goes Before and Stays With Us: The pillar of cloud by day and fire by night ensured they were never without direction. It's a reminder that God adapts His presence to our seasons—giving us shade in the heat (cloud) and light in the darkness (fire).
Matthew 3:13-17 — The Baptism of Jesus

Context
Jesus comes to the Jordan River to be baptized by John the Baptist. This marks the official launch of Jesus’ public ministry.
Key Themes
• Affirmation of Identity: Before Jesus performs a single miracle or preaches a single sermon, the Father publicly declares His love and approval.
• Obedience and Humility: Even though Jesus was sinless and didn't need a baptism of repentance, He did it to "fulfill all righteousness"—identifying fully with humanity.
Core Lessons
• Identity Precedes Activity: The Father says, "This is my Son, whom I love; with him I am well pleased." Our worth and identity in God are rooted in whose we are, not what we achieve.
• Leading by Example: True leadership begins with humility and submission to God's established plans.
The Intersecting Theme: How They Connect
When you look at these two passages together, a powerful overarching theme emerges: The Visual and Audible Confirmation of God's Presence at the Beginning of a Journey.

The Ultimate Takeaway
Whether you are wandering through a spiritual "wilderness" like the Israelites or stepping into a new calling like Jesus, God does not ask you to walk blindly. He provides His presence to guide you, His Holy Spirit to empower you, and His voice (through Scripture and prayer) to remind you exactly who you are.

I declare that this week is filled with divine direction and clarity. You will not stumble in your decisions, nor will you be overwhelmed by your responsibilities. Every door of opportunity meant for you shall swing open, and you receive the grace to excel in all your professional and academic pursuits. Your hands are strengthened for good work, and your mind is alert to wisdom.

And suddenly there came a sound from heaven, as of a rushing mighty wind... and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit." (Acts 2:2-4)
Today we celebrate the fire that never goes out. May your heart be set ablaze with His peace, your mind with His wisdom, and your life with His power. Let’s live every day in the fullness of the Spirit!

Happy Mother’s Day & A Blessed Sunday to the CCC Fold
Today, Sunday, May 10, 2026, marks a beautiful convergence. As the world celebrates the second Sunday of May, we within the Celestial Church of Christ (CCC) ILERI OLUWA ZONAL HEADQUARTERS join in gratitude, recognizing the virtuous women who serve as pillars of faith, prayer, and strength within the vineyard.
The role of a mother in the spirit is much like a steady candle—providing light, warmth, and guidance to her household and the Church at large.

5th new moon service in 2026

Lesson Dan 5:1-12
Theme: Pride

Belshazzar’s story provides a perfect template for understanding how pride functions and how it eventually fails.
Here is a structured outline you can use for a blog post, sermon, or presentation.
Title Idea: The Banquet of Blindness: 3 Fatal Stages of Pride
1. The Hubris of the High Life (v. 1-2)
Pride often begins with complacency. Belshazzar was safe behind the massive walls of Babylon, surrounded by luxury and a thousand lords.
• The Content Focus: Pride convinces us that we are untouchable. When we are "feasting," we stop looking for the "enemy at the gates."
• Key Insight: Success without humility is a trap.
2. The Weaponization of Arrogance (v. 3-4)
Belshazzar didn’t just drink; he drank from the holy vessels stolen from the Temple in Jerusalem. This was an intentional act of "one-upping" God.
• The Content Focus: Pride eventually seeks to desecrate what is sacred. It’s not enough for the proud person to be elevated; they must pull others (or God) down.
• Key Insight: Pride is never satisfied with self-praise; it eventually demands the displacement of Divine authority.
3. The Fragility of the Facade (v. 5-6)
The moment the "fingers of a human hand" appeared, the King’s "face turned pale" and "his knees knocked together."
• The Content Focus: Pride is a thin mask. It looks like strength, but it shatters instantly when confronted with Truth or the supernatural.
• Key Insight: Real strength remains steady under pressure; pride collapses into terror when it loses control of the narrative.
Key Comparisons: The Two Kings
A great way to illustrate pride is to compare Belshazzar with his predecessor, Nebuchadnezzar, as mentioned in the Queen's speech (v. 10-12).

The "Grace & New Beginnings"

Headline: 🌙 The 5th Gates are Open: New Moon Service 2026 🌙
Today, we stand at the threshold of the 5th New Moon of this year. In the presence of God, the number 5 represents Grace—unmerited favor that makes the impossible, possible.
As we gathered today, we encountered:
• A Clean Slate: Just as the moon refreshes its cycle, God is refreshing your spirit. Whatever happened in the first four months is behind you.
• Divine Alignment: We are aligning our hearts with the "Father of Lights." When we seek Him first, the rest of the month falls into place.
• Seed-Sowing Time: This is the service where we plant our intentions and prayers. We believe that what we whisper in the secret place today, God will manifest in the light this month.
Scripture for today: "He made the moon to mark the seasons, and the sun knows when to go down." — Psalm 104:19
May the light of His presence guide your path through this new month! 🕯️✨
