*MESSAGE:*

Today's memory verse is what all believers should say at the completion of their race here on earth. Unfortunately, some believers will be unable to say such because they started their Christian journey well, but did not finish well.

As a child of God who is running the race to eternity, you must not be carried away by the events of this present age and forget that the end is at hand. Apostle Paul, in Philippians 3:13-14, said, "…forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus."

As a child of God, one thing you need to do in order to finish well is to examine your weaknesses. Many believers know their weaknesses but choose to do nothing about them. Weaknesses like anger, lust, lying, the love of money, dishonesty, and materialism can hinder a fellow from finishing strong. Child of God, if you are struggling with any weakness, ask the Holy Spirit to help you. You should also be intentional about dealing with those weaknesses; do away with every enabler of such weaknesses and meditate on the word of God at all times. I pray for you today that you will finish your Christian race well, in Jesus' name.

MESSAGE
The fear of God is the beginning of wisdom (Psalm 111:10); therefore, anyone who does not fear God is not wise. He is a Consuming Fire (Hebrews 12:29), and those who do not fear Him are truly foolish because even a mad dog fears fire. Psalm 111:10 also means that those who fear God become wise.

Apart from wisdom, however, there are many other benefits to fearing God, and today's Bible reading outlines many of them. One of the benefits is that the seed of a person who fears God will be mighty upon the earth (Psalm 112:2). That same verse also tells us that the generation of the upright shall be blessed. Psalm 112:3 says that you will have access to wealth and riches when you fear God. Also, Psalm 112:7 says that you will not be afraid of evil tidings. People who fear God do not need to be afraid of anything because He will deliver them out of the hands of all their enemies and everything that can harm them.

Those who do not fear God will find it easy to commit sins, and this can bring a curse upon them and their descendants. For example, Gehazi's lack of fear for the Lord caused him and his descendants to become carriers of the leprosy that was previously upon Naaman (2 Kings 5:20-27). Whenever a person acts in a way that shows that he or she does not fear God, such a person robs his or her children of the opportunity to be great and exposes them to curses rather than blessings.

Joab was another person whose lack of fear for the Lord brought curses upon his lineage. In 2 Samuel 3:27-29, the Bible details how he tricked Abner and murdered him in cold blood. When David heard about it, he placed a curse on Joab's lineage that sicknesses, leprosy, poverty, weakness, and untimely death would befall Joab's family and his descendants. People who do not fear God purchase trouble for their children.

Beloved, if you want your future and that of your children to be glorious, you need to have the fear of God in you. If you're going to have peace of mind in your old age, you must fear God. The reason I am sure that my tomorrow and those of my children will be alright is that I fear the Lord. I pray that your life and those of your descendants will be filled with blessings and not curses, in Jesus' name.

MESSAGE:
Gossip is dangerous, and it can destroy relationships and hurt others deeply. When you gossip about others and they find out about it, you have broken whatever trust they might have had in you. Gossip can leave scars that may last forever or take years to heal.

James 1:26 says, "lf anyone among you thinks he is religious, and does not bridle his tongue but deceives his own heart, this one's religion is useless." This Scripture tells us that gossip doesn't just hurt others; it also damages a fellow's witness as a Christian. When you engage in gossip, you dishonour God and show a lack of love for others.

My dear child, gossip stirs up unnecessary conflicts. Therefore, if someone tries to drag you into gossip, steer the conversation toward something positive or excuse yourself from that environment. Instead of gossiping, speak kindness and truth or pray for the people being talked about.

OPEN HEAVEN DAILY DEVOTIONAL

24 When the unclean spirit is gone out of a man, he walketh through dry places, seeking rest; and finding none, he saith, I will return unto my house whence I came out.

25 And when he cometh, he findeth it swept and garnished.

26 Then goeth he, and taketh to him seven other spirits more wicked than himself; and they enter in, and dwell there: and the last state of that man is worse than the first.

MESSAGE
The devil has two types of captives: the willing captives and the unwilling captives. An unwilling captive is someone who has entered either willingly or unwillingly into the trap of the devil but now wants to be delivered. Such a fellow will be set free from the devil's hold when an anointed child of God prays for him or her. A willing captive, on the other hand, is someone who also gets into the devil's hold either willingly or unwillingly but refuses to repent or be delivered because of the perceived benefits he or she is getting by serving satan. Even if such a fellow is forcefully delivered, he or she will return to the devil's camp, and this time around, the bo***ge will be much worse because the demon(s) that were previously cast out will be multiplied sevenfold (Matthew 12:43-45).

Many years ago, we discovered that a witch was among us in the church. We prayed for her to be delivered; however, she remained in bo***ge. We then asked her if she wanted to be free, and she said, "No. Do you want me to lose the power that I use to control my husband?" Such thinking is very unfortunate because those who serve the devil are headed for eternal damnation if they do not repent.

A woman whose children were dying one after the other went to seek help from a prophet because she needed him to pray to God for their protection. While waiting for him, his wife asked her why she wanted to see her husband. She explained why she had come, and the prophet's wife gave her a kolanut to eat, telling her it would solve her problem and that she didn't need to wait for her husband again. When she went to sleep that night, she suddenly found herself among some witches in the spirit realm. They welcomed her and promised to protect her children if she joined them. She agreed based on their promise, and after some time, it became her turn to supply the blood that the coven would drink. At that point, she surrendered her husband to be sacrificed. More time passed, and it became her turn again to supply blood. This time, however, the witches asked her to sacrifice her children. That was when she decided to seek God's help to save her children from the devil's plan. Thank God she came to the church, and God delivered her.

Beloved, the devil offers nothing good or lasting. For everything he gives, he takes a thousand fold in return. I pray that God grants you the grace to avoid his traps, and if he currently has any hold over you and you are willing to be set free, I decree your liberty now, in Jesus' name.

INTRODUCTION
The second death is one of the final events in the Bible described as the eternal death in “the lake which burns with fire and brimstone” (Revelation 21:8). It is a “death” in that it is a separation from God, the Giver of life. It is called the “second” because it follows physical death. The eternal agony in the lake of fire is the second death.

CANDIDATES OF THE SECOND DEATH
The Bible makes it clear that those who overcome and share in the first resurrection will not experience the second death (Revelation 2:11; 20:6). The second death is exclusively for those who rejected Christ and His saving grace. These include “the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars” (Revelation 21:8).
At the end of time, even death and hell will be thrown into the lake of fire (Revelation 20:14). In addition, every person not included in the book of life will be thrown into the lake of fire (Revelation 20:15). This condition will be final; the destination is permanent.

CALL TO ACTION
The inevitability of Christ’s return (Mark 13:33) and the second death should motivate how we live (Matthew 5:16) and witness the gospel to unbelievers (2 Timothy 4:2). This is because God has no pleasure in the death of sinners, and He is exercising a lot of patience for sinners to repent and be saved (Ezekiel 33:11; 2 Peter 3:8-9).

CONCLUSION
The second death is a reference to the lake of fire where those who are separated from God by their sin will dwell for eternity. Be holy!

MESSAGE:
If you are a child of God, your life is unique, and God's hand upon you makes you special. Where others fail, you will succeed because God will break protocols on your behalf.

One of the moments that God proved to us that we are special to Him Was when the RCCG was to be registered in Israel. A diplomat had warned us against submitting an application because he assumed that our application wouldn't be approved. Despite his scepticism, we submitted the application and trusted God for a miracle. A few weeks later, we received our proof of registration! Indeed, we serve a God who specialises in breaking protocols for the sake of His children.

My dear child, you can emerge victorious Over every challenge that comes your way. The God who makes impossibilities possible is your Father, and He can turn every negative situation in your life around for good. I decree that from today, doors of breakthrough will be opened for you. The Lord will break protocols on your behalf and make you stand out, in Jesus' name.

4.Father, please help all Your children never to go out of Your plan and purpose for their lives. Help them to patiently wait on Your guidance and commands, in Jesus' name.

5.Father, please help each parent never to fail in their role to pray for their children at all times, in Jesus' name.

6.Father, please help me as a father/mother to command the children You have given me after You, so they won't miss Your purpose in life, in Jesus' name.

7.Father, please help me as a child to my parents not to fail in my role in walking in the godly counsel of my parents, in Jesus' name.

8.Father, please show me and all the children You have given me, Your mercy and favour. Satisfy us early so we can rejoice and be glad all the days of our lives, in Jesus' name.

9.Father, please strengthen all parents to arise in their spiritual responsibility over the children You have given them, and let all their children begin to enjoy supernatural favour, in Jesus' name.

10.Father, please let all the children You have given me bring me joy and shower them and every member of my household with Your mercies, in Jesus' name.
