MESSAGE:
When | was growing up, there was no internet, so friendships were formed in person, and our parents guided us in choosing the right friends. However, the present-day reality is far from this. The internet offers endless opportunities to connect with people from all over the world, but I must let you know that not every online friendship is healthy. Today's memory verse warns that bad company corrupts good morals, even in the digital space. You must be very careful about who you allow into your personal space. When interacting with people online, ensure that your interactions align with your faith and godly values. Today's Bible reading also emphasises the need to test every spirit. Also, you need to ask God for wisdom to determine whether a connection will be beneficial or harmful to you.

My dear child, when someone reaches out to become your online friend, pray about it and ensure that your conversations glorify God. Set boundaries on social media usage and avoid blogs that thrive on gossip, nudity, negativity, and any content that does not glorify God. I pray that God will guide you in choosing your online friends, in Jesus' name.

MESSAGE
Jesus can return at any time. This is why my wife and I ensure that we settle any misunderstandings between us before we go to sleep, because we don't want to be left behind. I don't want anything to keep me from going with the Lord when He returns.

In today's memory verse, Paul urges us not to allow the sun to go down upon our wrath. Never go to sleep angry or with grudges in your heart. Do not let anger fester, for it can create a barrier between you and God. Ephesians 4:31 says that you should put away all bitterness, wrath, anger, clamor, evil speaking, and malice. Cast them off because they will keep you from going with the Lord when He returns.

Child of God, settle any issues you have with others quickly so they do not hinder you from being a partaker of God's Kingdom when He returns. If you find it very easy to keep a grudge, run to God for help today. Ask Him for the grace to forgive those who offend you, even if they have not asked for your forgiveness. Do not allow offence or anything at all to separate you from the Lord for eternity.

For believers, death is merely like falling asleep because a glorious eternity awaits us (1 Thessalonians 4:13). For those living in sin, however, eternal damnation awaits them after death (Hebrews 9:27, Revelation 21:8). This is why you must live your life prepared to meet the Lord at any time. Settle every matter as quickly as possible because you do not know the moment when your eternal sleep will begin.

One man of God said that the Sunday after the rapture, some churches will still be full. The pastors will still be there to preach, but this time around, their preaching will not be casual. They will stand on their pulpits and say, "I knew this event was going to happen, but I didn't prepare myself and this congregation for it" They might apologize to the congregation who will be left behind, but their apologies will be useless at that point.

Beloved, if you miss the rapture, all the time you have spent in church will be in vain. Forgive those who have hurt you; let it go! I pray that God will give you the strength and courage to deal with anything in your life that can cause you to miss the rapture, in Jesus' name.

OPEN HEAVEN DAILY DEVOTIONAL

6 And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet.

7 For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places.

8 All these are the beginning of sorrows.

9 Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name's sake.

MESSAGE
Jesus likened His second coming to the time when God destroyed the earth with a flood (Genesis 7:11-23) and when He destroyed S***m and Gomorrah with fire (Genesis 19:24-25). Just as it was in the times of Noah and Lot, when people were eating, drinking, getting married, building, planting, buying, and selling, so will it be when the Lord returns (Luke 17:26-30). Life will continue as usual until the Lord's coming interrupts and changes everything. Imagine a believer who gives in to a temptation just a split second before the rapture takes place. Such a fellow has clearly chosen not to spend eternity with the Lord. I pray that you will be watchful and ready to make heaven when the Lord returns, in Jesus' name.

Yesterday, I discussed three important things about the Lord's return. Today, I will discuss the remaining three:

1. It will be unexpected for the unprepared: 2 Peter 3:10 says that the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night. It is important to note, however, that not everyone is caught unawares by thieves. Matthew 24:43 says that if the goodman of a house had known when a thief would come, he would have watched and prevented his house from being broken up. Stay aware and alert so that you will not miss the rapture.

2. It will not be done in secret: Everybody will know when the Lord returns, whether sinner or saint. Matthew 24:27 says that as the lightning comes out of the east and shines even unto the west, so shall the Lord's coming be. When lightning flashes across the sky, everyone sees it. Likewise, the Lord's return will not be a secret event; the whole world will see those who join Him and those who are left behind. The secret of those who have been pretending to be children of God will be revealed on that day.

3. Jesus is coming for a pure and spotless bride: Ephesians 5:22-33 tells us that the Church is the Bride of Christ. The Church refers to Christians, not buildings, and you must understand that whatever is expected of the Church is also expected of you. When Jesus returns, only those whose garments are spotless will go with Him. 'Garment' here refers to your life. Only those who allow the Lord to sanctify and cleanse them will be His Bride on that day (Ephesians 5:26-27). Beloved, will you be among them?

3 Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts,

4 And saying, Where is the promise of his coming? for since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation.

5 For this they willingly are ignorant of, that by the word of God the heavens were of old, and the earth standing out of the water and in the water:

6 Whereby the world that then was, being overflowed with water, perished:

7 But the heavens and the earth, which are now, by the same word are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men.

8 But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.

MESSAGE
One of the reasons I spent three years studying Elijah was that he was gloriously taken to heaven without having to taste death. If I could have my way, I also would prefer not to die but rather be raptured (1 Thessalonians 4:16-17). Ever since I have learnt of the rapture, my prayer every night before I sleep has been, "Lord. if You return before tomorrow, please don't leave me behind."

The realization that tomorrow may never come, and that the Lord may return before sunrise, has kept me on my toes since I surrendered my life to Jesus. He can even come this very night. It is clearly written in Luke 17:34 that two people will be on the same bed; one will be taken, and the other will be left behind. If Jesus returns tonight, will you be with Him in glory, or will you be left behind?

Today, I will discuss three out of six crucial things you should know about the Lord's second coming. The remaining three will be discussed tomorrow.

1. It is in two phases: The first phase is the rapture when Jesus descends from heaven to receive believers who have died and those who are still alive unto Himself (1 Thessalonians 4:16-17). The second phase is His glorious return, which all eyes shall behold (Revelation 1:7, Revelation 19:11-16).

2. It is imminent: Although it may seem delayed, Jesus will return soon. Ignore people who speak and act as if He will never return. Peter already spoke about them in today's Bible reading, how they will arise in the last days to challenge this truth. Sadly, many pastors have not preached about the Second Coming of Jesus Christ in years. Beloved, don't lose focus; keep in mind that Jesus' return is closer than you think. I know His coming seems to be delayed, but God's measurement of time is different from man's measurement, as today's Bible reading also tells us.

3. It is certain: Jesus' return is certain, and there is nothing anyone can do to change it. Today's Bible reading also tells us that the Lord is not slack concerning His promise. He has promised to return, and it is certain that He will (Acts 1:10-11).

In Matthew 24:4-51, Jesus gave us numerous signs of His coming, and one of the prominent signs is that many deceivers will arise and many will be deceived. I pray that you will not be deceived in any way, in Jesus name.

How prepared are you for Jesus ‘second coming?

**KÍKA BÍBÉLÌ:**
3 Ki ẹ kọ́ mọ̀ eyi pe, nigba ọjọ ikẹhin, awọn ẹlẹgan yio de pẹlu ẹgan wọn, nwọn o mã rin nipa ifẹ ara wọn,

4 Nwọn o si mã wipe, Nibo ni ileri wíwa rẹ̀ gbé wà? lati igbati awọn baba ti sùn, ohun gbogbo nlọ bi nwọn ti wà rí lati ìgba ọjọ ìwa.

5 Nitori eyi ni nwọn mọ̃mọ ṣe aifẹ̃mọ, pe nipa ọ̀rọ Ọlọrun li awọn ọrun ti wà lati ìgba atijọ, ati ti ilẹ yọri jade ninu omi, ti o si duro ninu omi:

6 Nipa eyi ti omi bo aiye ti o wà nigbana, ti o si ṣegbe:

7 Ṣugbọn awọn ọrun ati aiye, ti mbẹ nisisiyi, nipa ọ̀rọ kanna li a ti tojọ bi iṣura fun iná, a pa wọn mọ́ dè ọjọ idajọ ati iparun awọn alaiwa-bi-Ọlọrun.

8 Ṣugbọn, olufẹ, ẹ máṣe gbagbe ohun kan yi, pe ọjọ kan lọdọ Oluwa bi ẹgbẹ̀run ọdún li o ri, ati ẹgbẹ̀run ọdún bi ọjọ kan.

9 Oluwa kò fi ileri rẹ̀ jafara, bi awọn ẹlomiran ti ikà a si ijafara; ṣugbọn o nmu sũru fun nyin nitori kò fẹ ki ẹnikẹni ki o ṣegbé, bikoṣe ki gbogbo enia ki o wá si ironupiwada.

10 Ṣugbọn ọjọ Oluwa mbọ̀wá bi olè li oru; ninu eyi ti awọn ọrun yio kọja lọ ti awọn ti ariwo nla, ati awọn imọlẹ oju ọrun yio si ti inu oru gbigbona gidigidi di yíyọ, aiye ati awọn iṣẹ ti o wà ninu rẹ̀ yio si jóna lulu.

11 Njẹ bi gbogbo nkan wọnyi yio ti yọ́ nì, irú enia wo li ẹnyin iba jẹ ninu ìwa mimọ́ gbogbo ati ìwa-bi-Ọlọrun,

12 Ki ẹ mã reti, ki ẹ si mã mura giri de díde ọjọ Ọlọrun, nitori eyiti awọn ọ̀run yio gbiná, ti nwọn yio di yíyọ́, ti awọn imọlẹ rẹ̀ yio si ti inu õru gbigbona gidigidi di yíyọ?

13 Ṣugbọn gẹgẹ bi ileri rẹ̀, awa nreti awọn ọrun titun ati aiye titun, ninu eyiti ododo ngbé.

14 Nitorina, olufẹ, bi ẹnyin ti nreti irú nkan wọnyi, ẹ mura giri, ki a le bá nyin li alafia, li ailabawọn, ati li ailàbuku li oju rẹ̀.

Ọ̀kan lára ìdí tí mo fi lo ọdún mẹ́ta láti kẹ́kọ̀ọ́ nípa Èlíjà ni pé a gbé e lọ sí ọ̀run ní ọ̀nà ológo láì tọ́ ikú wò.

Bí ó bá jẹ́ èmi ni yóò yàn, èmi náà kò fẹ́ kú, bí kò ṣe kí a gbà mí lọ sókè nínú ìgbàsókè (1 Tẹsalóníkà 4:16-17).

Láti ìgbà tí mo ti kọ́ nípa ìgbàsókè, àdúrà mi ní alẹ́ kọ̀ọ̀kan kí n tó sùn ni pé, "Olúwa, bí o bá padà dé kí ilẹ̀ tó mọ́ lọ́la, jọ̀wọ́ má fi mí sílẹ̀."

Mímọ̀ pé ọ̀la lè má dé, àti pé Olúwa lè padà dé kí oòrùn tó yọ, ti mú mi wà lójúfò láti ìgbà tí mo ti fi ayé mi fún Jésù.

Ó tilẹ̀ lè dé ní òru òní yìí gan-an. A kọ ọ́ ní kedere nínú Lúùkù 17:34 pé ènìyàn méjì yóò wà lórí ibùsùn kan; aó mú ọ̀kan, a ó sì fi ìkejì sílẹ̀.

Bí Jésù bá padà dé ní alẹ́ òní, ṣé ìwọ yóò wà pẹ̀lú rẹ̀ nínú ògo, àbí a ó fi ọ́ sílẹ̀?

Lónìí, èmi yóò jíròrò mẹ́ta nínú ohun pàtàkì mẹ́fà tí ó yẹ kí o mọ̀ nípa ìpadàbọ̀ Olúwa. Èyí tí ó kù, mẹ́ta, ni a ó jíròrò ní ọ̀la.

**Ó ní ìpele méjì:** Ìpele àkọ́kọ́ ni ìgbàsókè, nígbà tí Jésù yóò sọ̀kalẹ̀ láti ọ̀run wá gbà àwọn onígbàgbọ́ tí wọ́n ti kú àti àwọn tí wọ́n ṣì wà láàyè sọ́dọ̀ ara rẹ̀ (1 Tẹsalóníkà 4:16-17).

Ìpele kejì ni ìpadàbọ̀ rẹ̀ ológo, tí gbogbo ojú yóò rí (Ìfihàn 1:7; Ìfihàn 19:11-16).

**Ó sún mọ́lé:** Bí ó tilẹ̀ dàbí ẹni pé ó falẹ̀, Jésù yóò padà dé láìpẹ́. Má ṣe fetí sí àwọn tí wọ́n ń sọ̀rọ̀ tí wọ́n sì ń ṣe bí ẹni pé kò ní padà wá.

Pétérù ti sọ̀rọ̀ nípa wọn nínú Kíka Bíbélì òní, pé wọn yóò dìde ní ọjọ́ ìkẹyìn láti tako òtítọ́ yìí.

Ó ṣe ni láàánú pé ọ̀pọ̀ àwọn pásítọ̀ kò wàásù nípa Ìpadàbọ̀ Jésù Kristi fún ọ̀pọ̀ ọdún.

Olùfẹ́, má ṣe pàdánù ìfọkànsí; rántí pé ìpadàbọ̀ Jésù sún mọ́ ju bí o ti rò lọ.

Mo mọ̀ pé ó dàbí ẹni pé ìpadàbọ̀ rẹ̀ falẹ̀, ṣùgbọ́n ìwọ̀n àkókò Ọlọ́run yàtọ̀ sí ti ènìyàn, gẹ́gẹ́ bí Kíka Bíbélì òní ṣe sọ pẹ̀lú.

**Ó dájú:** Ìpadàbọ̀ Jésù dájú, kò sì sí ohun tí ẹnikẹ́ni lè ṣe láti yí i padà.

Bíbélì kika òní tún sọ fún wa pé Olúwa kò falẹ̀ nípa ìlérí rẹ̀. Ó ti ṣèlérí láti padà dé, ó sì dájú pé yóò dé (Ìṣe 1:10-11).

Nínú Mátíù 24:4-51, Jésù fún wa ní ọ̀pọ̀ àmì ìpadàbọ̀ rẹ̀, ọ̀kan lára àwọn àmì pàtàkì ni pé ọ̀pọ̀ ẹlẹ́tàn yóò dìde, ọ̀pọ̀ ni a ó sì tàn jẹ. Mo gbàdúrà pé a kò ní tàn ọ́ jẹ ní ọ̀nà kankan, ní orúkọ Jésù.
