Merry Christmas?

There's no Christmas without Christ, and no 'merry' or 'joyful' Christmas without His life. Another word for merry is lively or living, and that can only be found in Him.

In Him (Jesus) was life and the life is the light of men - John 1:5

Before Christ's birth, the last time life was merry was in the garden of Eden, before it became gloomy through satanic influence. Christ however was born to restore merriment to life.

He came to give the world a merry life, an eternal merriment.

Hence as you celebrate Christmas, remember its not about the fun, but the purpose of His birth: To restore merriment, joy, peace to the world via His life.
