Over the weekend we gathered for a power packed Word Conference, tagged THE REVELATION OF CHRIST.
Across three glorious days, our eyes were opened to the depth of scriptural truth, unveiling who Jesus truly is, from Genesis to Revelation.
Here's what we walked through:
Death is an enemy, not a natural end (1 Cor 15:26). Jesus entered death's domain as a man but death could not hold him because the one who died was also fully God (Acts 2:24). He didn't rise alone. He rose as the first fruit, and we rise with him (1 Cor 15:20).
The cross was not God's anger poured on a reluctant Son. "God was in Christ, reconciling the world to himself" (2 Cor 5:19). At the cross, justice and mercy met fully: God is both "just and the justifier" (Rom 3:25-26).
Jesus is not only a first-century man. He existed before Abraham (John 8:58), was active throughout the Old Testament (1 Cor 10:4), and all things were created through him and for him (Col 1:16-17).
Is the son the father?
When Jesus prayed to the Father, it wasn't theatre, it was the eternal Son, in his humanity, voluntarily walking the road of redemption (Phil 2:6-8).
He is coming again (Rev 1:7; Acts 1:11). Death itself will be destroyed and every eye will see him. (1 Cor 15:26)
We walk away rooted, established, and undone afresh by who Christ is.
