๐ฅ FEAST OF TABERNACLES 2026 โ DAY 6 RECAP!
Day 6 of the Feast of Tabernacles 2026 was another memorable and activity-filled day across the Akwa-Cross Conference, with worship, leadership engagement, powerful messages, youth connection, fellowship and inspiring conversations about the future of the Church.
๐ป A LEADERSHIP SESSION THAT INSPIRED SERVICE
Before the evening services, Pastor Gift Nkweke (Ph.D.), a renowned leader and minister of the Gospel in the Church, held a virtual leadership session with Church Leaders, Ministers and Ministries Heads.
The session provided valuable insights into the realities and responsibilities of ministry, with particular emphasis on how leaders can function effectively, remain fruitful and sustain longevity in service without becoming worn out.
Pastor Gift challenged leaders to approach ministry with wisdom, intentionality, resilience and a proper understanding of the demands of service. The session was not merely about leadership responsibilities, but about serving faithfully while maintaining the strength, passion and capacity needed for the journey ahead.
The session also demonstrated the power of connection beyond physical boundaries, as members of the Conference in the diaspora joined the live session, participating in the shared experience.
In the Calabar District Camp, members gathered together to watch the live session, making it a collective learning and leadership experience for the District.
It was a powerful reminder that the work of the Church is bigger than one locationโand that leaders and members can continue to learn, connect and strengthen one another even across distances.
โจ CALABAR DISTRICT โ YOUTH CONNECT NIGHT
The evening in Calabar was especially impactful as young people gathered for Youth Connect Nightโa platform created to connect, share ideas, exchange experiences and have meaningful conversations about the future of the Church.
The highlight was a powerful presentation by Bro. Isaiah Gabriel titled:
๐ฅ โBEYOND THE PULPIT: The Skills, Mindset and Decisions That Shape the Future of Young People.โ
The message challenged young people to look beyond formal education and develop practical skills, financial intelligence, digital competence, critical thinking, discipline, leadership and an entrepreneurial mindset.
Bro. Isaiah also drew from his experience building TrekX Delivery, sharing practical lessons about turning ideas into solutions, learning from failure, adapting to challenges and taking responsibility for personal growth.
The conversation continued with Bro. Ubong Akpan, who shared practical ideas and testimonies on how young people can work together, build synergy and contribute meaningfully to moving the Church forward.
It was more than a youth gatheringโit was a conversation about purpose, capacity, collaboration and the future.
๐ฅ IKOT ABASI DISTRICT
Ikot Abasi District also had a wonderful and inspiring time as the brethren gathered to worship, fellowship and receive a powerful message from the minister designated for the day. The atmosphere was one of spiritual encouragement and renewed commitment.
๐ฅ ABAK DISTRICT
At Abak District, Evangelist Edwin Ekanem delivered the message for the day, blessing and challenging the congregation through the Word of God.
๐ฅ UYO DISTRICT
In Uyo, the Akwa-Cross Conference State Overseer, Pastor Emmanuel Sunday, who had earlier joined the brethren with his entourage, blessed the congregation with his message as the Feast activities continued.
๐ AND WHAT A DAY IT WAS!
From leadership development to powerful messages, from youth conversations to fellowship and spiritual encouragement, Day 6 demonstrated once again that the Feast is a time to worship, learn, connect, serve and grow together.
It was truly an activity-filled day, with something meaningful happening across the Conference and brethren joining from different locations to share in the blessings of the Feast.
