3 LITTLE THINGS THAT MATTER

Did you just say little things don’t matter; dear, it does? Little things make the big difference. Big breaks don't just occur, it takes paying attention to details. Most consequences suffered by people is as a result of the little things they ignored. I heard a pathetic story of a lady that died because of wrong prescription, she died out of her carelessness. That is why the bible advice, we should “be careful of little foxes that spoil the grape”

• Attitude: Attitude is everything. Perceived weakness in attitude should not be taken for granted because it's like rain water that creates gully out of the little path. If you don’t take it seriously, soon people will take you unserious. It was Winston Churchill, the great leader that said, “Attitude is a little thing that makes a big difference”. People may hear your words but they feel your attitude. Attitudes are stronger than words, attitude connects people than words. People with great attitude tend to have more people around them because attitude is a propeller. It propels the right people and repels the wrong people out of your life. Do you wonder why you have friends you don’t desire; that’s because you don’t attract what you want, you attract who you are. Your friends reflect who you are.

• Pride: The bible advice that “Pride goes before destruction, a haughty spirit before a fall”. This is the best advised for anyone desiring greatness. Uncle Lucifer – the choir master back then in heaven has this to say, “my biggest regret in life is being a victim of pride”. Yea, he regrets so is everyone that has been a victim of Mr Pride. Pride is a man; you know why because men have a lot of egos. The thought of I am the best and every other person is inferior is the beginning of self-sabotage. It doesn’t just explode over night; it’s a gradual process that can be as slow as the movement of the snail into Noah’s Ark.

• Self Control: 2006 world cup is one football lovers won’t forget in a hurry because of the incident that occurred between Zinedine Zidane and Marco Materazzi. Zinedine Zidane was sent off in the 2006 World Cup final for headbutting Marco Materazzi in the chest. This singular action caused his nation to lose the final and he missed the most prestigious football award “Ballon D’ Or”. “God has equipped you to handle difficult things. In fact, He has already planted the seeds of discipline and self-control inside you. You just have to water those seeds with His Word to make them grow” - Joyce Meyer, Speaker, and Author. The seed of self-control needs to be watered daily because am sure you will have a need for it someday. Most importantly, you will need it for every new level attained. If you fail self-control test; I can tell virtually how long you will stay at that level. Zidane failed the test; you shouldn’t fail also.

In life everything matters. All we do is interconnected. Your failure to talk to that teenager dying on drugs today may cause you your daughter’s virginity tomorrow. We need to wake up and take things seriously and instill the right attitude towards everything.

According to Forbes, 90% new year resolutions don't work. Resent research has gone further to show that most new year resolutions don't scale through the first 2 months of the year.

RULES TO BE A GOOD WIFE AND ENJOY YOUR MARRIAGE 1). Never raise your voice to your husband. Its a sign of disrespect.
2). Don't expose your husband's weaknesses to your family and friends. You are each other's keeper.
3). Never use attitudes to communicate to your hubby, he may interpret them differently.
4). Never compare your husband to other men, you've no idea what is coming in the near future.
5). Never ill treat your husband's friends because you don't like them, the person who's supposed to get rid of them is your husband.
6). Never forget that your husband married you, not your maid or anyone else.
7). Never assign anyone to give attention to your husband, people may do everything else but your husband is your own responsibility.
8). Never blame your husband if he comes back home without money. Rather encourage him.
9). Never be a wasting wife, your husband's sweat is too precious to be wasted.
10). Never pretend to be sick for the purpose of denying your husband s*x
11). Never compare your husband to your one time s*x mate in the bedroom.
12). Let him handle what is directed to him although he may answer for you in public opinion polls.
13). Never shout or challenge your husband in front of children or visitors.
14). Don't forget to check the smartness of your husband before he checks out.
15). Never allow your friends to be too close to your husband.
16). Never be in a hurry in the bathroom and on the dressing table. On the streets your husband is always surrounded by women who took their time on their looks.
17). Your parents or family or friends do not have the final say in your marriage. Don't deceive yourself by looking up to them for a final word.
18). Never base your love solely on money. Plan with him, show sincerity and enjoy with him.
19). Don't forget that husbands want attention and good listeners, never be too busy for him.
20). If your idea worked better than his, never compare yourself to him. Its always teamwork.
21). Don't be too judgemental to your husband.
22). A lazy wife is a careless wife. She doesn't even know that her body needs a bath.
23). Does your husband like some special food? You are is wife, try to learn and cook such for him.
24). Never be too confrontational with your husband, enjoy every moment in peace.
25). Make a glass of water the very first welcome to your husband and everyone entering your home. Sweetness of attitude is true beauty for a real wife.
26). Don't associate with women who have a wrong mental attitude about marriage.
27). Your marriage is as valuable to you as the value that you give it. Recklessness is unacceptable.
28). Fruit of the womb is a blessing from the Lord, love your children and teach them sincerity.
29). You are never too busy to influence your home. Never reduce care for your hubby for any reason.
