Q1: WHAT IS WORSHIP?
ANSWER: Worship is not music. Music is a vehicle of worship.
DEFINITION: Worship = worth-ship. To assign worth, value, and weight to God.
HEBREW: Shachah = To bow down, prostrate. Abodah = Service, work.
GREEK: Proskuneo = To kiss toward, to lay down.
Latreia = Priesthood service.

KEY FACT: God is not looking for singers. He is looking for WORSHIPPERS. John 4:23

PART 1: THE 7 PILLARS OF TRUE WORSHIP THAT PLEASES GOD

PILLAR 1: WORSHIP IN SPIRIT - JOHN 4:23-24
TEXT: "True worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truthโ€
DEEPER REVELATION:
1. SPIRIT = Pneuma = Your recreated inner man. Not emotions, not flesh.
2. FACT: God is Spirit. You cannot worship a Spirit with your body only.
3. ORDER: Worship starts INSIDE before it comes OUTSIDE.

FALSE WORSHIP: Performance, noise, hype, flesh.
TRUE WORSHIP: Connection, communion, intimacy.

TRUTH = Aletheia = Reality, sincerity, no mask.
DEEPER FACT: You cannot worship in Spirit without Truth. Hypocrisy blocks the Spirit.

FACT: Division is the #1 thing that grieves the Spirit during worship. Eph 4:30

Heavenly Father, as I rise on this Thursday morning, I come before You with a heart full of gratitude for Your unwavering love and faithfulness. I thank You for the breath of life You have given me today and for the promise of Your presence in each moment. Lord, I declare that Your love surrounds me, guiding me through every challenge and blessing.

Your Word reminds me in Psalm 136:1, โ€œO give thanks to the Lord, for He is good; for His mercy and loving-kindness endure forever.โ€ I hold onto this promise, knowing that Your mercy is new every morning. Help me to reflect Your love in my actions today and to trust in Your faithfulness, even when I cannot see the path ahead.

A Heart Cleansed: The Journey of Forgiveness

Heavenly Father, I come before You with a heavy heart, seeking Your grace and mercy. Please forgive me for any neglect Iโ€™ve shown towards others, and help me to acknowledge those I may have overlooked in their time of need. Heal any disputes I have caused, Lord, and grant me the courage to seek reconciliation. Release me from the shackles of guilt, reminding me that Your forgiveness is greater than my failings. Lord, help me to lay down my pride and approach others with humility. Teach me to forgive offenses, just as You have forgiven me, allowing love to reign in my heart.
