Children are precious gifts from God, entrusted to our care, guidance, and love.

On this Children’s Day, we celebrate their innocence, joy, and limitless potential that God has placed within every child.

May we continue to nurture them in wisdom, faith, and godly values, raising a generation that will shine as light in the world and fulfill divine purpose.

Happy Children’s Day to every child, may your future be bright and blessed.

DAY 3 – FAREWELL SERVICE

SERMON

Speaker: Pastor O. A. Archibong
(Ewa Nsa District Pastor)

Central Theme:

“Lay Hold on Eternal Life, whereunto thou art also called.”
1 Timothy 6:12b

Sub-Theme:

Laying Hold on Eternal Life

FOCUS

Eternal life is God’s kind of life, revealed through His love for mankind. The love of God brought forth the gift of eternal life. When God created man, eternal life was given freely, but after the fall of man, it became a personal choice for everyone to accept.

HOW TO RECEIVE ETERNAL LIFE

1. Through the Word of God (John 17:3)

2. By believing in the promise of everlasting life

3. By accepting Jesus Christ as personal Lord and Saviour

KEY POINTS

Eternal life is available to everyone.

Eternal life is more than a life that never ends; it is knowing God and having a relationship with Him through Jesus Christ.

Eternal life is a present reality for those who believe in Christ.

Through eternal life, we receive forgiveness, hope, peace, and fellowship with God both now and forevermore.

Jesus said:

And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent.

John 17:3

CONCLUSION

Eternal life is God’s greatest gift to humanity, freely given through Jesus Christ. It is not meant to be hidden but shared with others.

As believers, we have a divine responsibility to preach the Gospel through:

Our testimony,

The Word of God,

And the lifestyle we live daily.

May we continually lay hold on eternal life and remain steadfast in Christ until the end.
