THE APOSTOLIC CHURCH NIGERIA, ABAKALIKI AREA HEADQUARTERS | NEW YEAR WORSHIP SERVICE | SUN. 1ST JAN. 2023

SPEAKER: APOSTLE A. A. AKAJIAKU
TEXT: ISAIAH 43:18-19
REF: EPH. 4:22, PHIL. 2:5, JER. 29:11, PROV. 23:18, REV. 21:5

NOTE
The speaker began the ministration with a brief moment of Prophetic/Apostolic declarations over the new year, closely followed by an opening prayer.

To begin the new year on a smooth ground, the speaker admonish that it is necessary to base one's life on the Word of God. The Word of God has been with God right from the beginning and He Himself is God (Jn. 1:1-4). With the Word of God, victory is assured.

To succeed in the New year on the basis of God's promise to do a new thing, we must discard the old man (character, attitude, desires, etc) in order to participate in God's promise. The Lord is ever willing to raise up as many that are willing to put away their old lifestyle.

As drawn from the scriptural text, the speaker charges the congregants not to remember the hurdles and challenges so encountered in the past years, but to hold unto God's promise that "He will do a new thing" - the new thing which no one would ever be able to take away nor destroy.

Deuteronomy 7:13 vividly portrays the love of God and His goodly plans for us in the new year. These blessings of the Lord which makes rich and adds no sorrows extends even unto the works of our hands, cattle and everything so owned by us; howbeit, let us first be willing to put away the old man so we can fully enjoy these entitlements through Christ Jesus.

The speaker concluded the ministration with a brief moment of worship, thanksgiving and prophetic declarations/prayers.

THEME: GIVING ATTRACTS BLESSINGS
TEXT: GEN. 4:2-8
REF: 1COR. 9:6, JN. 3:16

NOTE

The excited atmosphere with brethren duly prepared to offer unto the Lord in their cash and kind was made even more exciting with the Apostolic message from the resident Superintendent.

The speaker began the message with a brief prayer and thereon stated emphatically that what we give to God can attract a blessing or a curse, either ways, no one gives unto God and goes without a reward, hence, the need to give with all deliberateness and consciousness to be blessed. Adding to this, he made it clear from the scripture that What ever a man sows, the same shall he reap.

Man is ordained in the image of God and in most cases, giving unto God may come in a way of giving unto a physically seen man whose approval of the gift may also be the approval of God.

Giving attracts a blessings but this is when giving itself is done with joy without any withdrawals from anger, grief and lust. God had first given unto humanity his son Jesus Christ for the redemption from sin and it is most applicably that Man, when giving to God must do so totally and wholeheartedly.

God owns everything and whatever gift for Him is but giving unto the owner what belongs to him, hence, giving is the whole duty of Man. In giving we acknowledge the supremacy and ownership of God over everything.

In conclusion, the speaker urged the congregants to give in expectation of the blessings of God and this implies giving unto God like the biblical Abel did.

SPEAKER: APOSTLE (DR.). A. A. AKAJIAKU jp
THEME: CHRISTIAN MARRIAGE
TEXT: PS. 1:1-2
REF: 1 Tim. 3:4, 1 Cor. 3:11

NOTE

The speaker began the ministration with a brief opening prayer which got the expectant congregants excited to recieve the Word of God. In an admonition to the celebrated couples and as a message to intending couples and ongoing marriages, the speaker briefly pointed out the basis and standards of a Christian marriage which eventually births a Christian home.

A Christian marriage has the man as the head of the family as Christ is the head of the Church and by this, he is entitled to the respect, submissions and regards from the wife towards building a peaceful home.

Love cannot be excluded in a Christian home and this first begins with the love for God. Couples can only love themselves better if they first love God and strive to raise their children to love the Lord.

Fruitfulness is an embodiment of a Christian home as it is never the will of God that his children should be barren. However, upon the reception of children from the Lord, it is the role of the parents to ensure that these children are properly raised and without they themselves being allowed to be controlled by the desires of their children.

Jesus came from a home of two married people, Joseph and Mary whose upbringings and childcare accorded to him by this couple cannot be overlooked, thus, he mandates every home to strive above all odds to raise godly children.

Conclusively, marriage is not new; marriage is almost as old as the creation of man of Man and God Himself had established the institution of marriage and He had likewise commanded this institution to be fruitful and to multiply. With this, marriage is part of the will of God.

APOSTOLIC DECLARATION

👉 The marriages of the Children of God shall ever remain fruitful and shall keep flourishing and multiplying in JESUS Name, AMEN

HAPPY MARRIED LIFE TO DEACON GARA AND SISTER AMAKA

THE APOSTOLIC CHURCH NIGERIA, ABAKALIKI AREA HEADQUARTERS | SUNDAY WORSHIP SERVICE | SUN. 9TH OCT. 2022

SPEAKER: APOSTLE (DR.) A. A. AKAJIAKU
THEME: FEAR NOT!
TEXT: II Kings 6:8-23

NOTE

The speaker began the ministration with an opening prayer that got the congregants prepared to recieve the message from the Lord. The speaker went on to charge the congregants to cease from their fears and hold steadfastly in Faith unto God.

Citing several biblical examples and their depth of trust in God, the speaker pointed out that any man who has faith in God, such will never live a life of fear because there is the assurance that there is no impossibility with God.

Considering the character of Abraham, the speaker pointed out that Abraham, while in the situation of childlessness had recieved a promised from the Lord that neither a stranger shall inherit his wealth, for out his loins shall come forth a son. While this was yet to come to pass, the Lord had admonished him to cease from his fear for his children shall be as numerous as the stars in the galaxies and the sands on the seashore.

The speaker also presented the character of Elisha and his servant, Gehazi, the latter, who was beset with fear when the Syrian enemies had surrounded them. But Elisha prayed unto the Lord, who had his eyes opened to see that they that were with them were far more than they that came against him, hence, no cause for fear.

In the days of the reign of Hezekiah, when the Assyrian armies sought to invade them, the people were drowned in their fear but King Hezekiah arose and spoke with faith against the fear that had overwhelmed the people, saying; "to them is an arm of flesh but with us is the Lord to fight our battle" and just as he declared, the Lord indeed had rescued them from their enemies.

The Lord is telling you today, "I am with you, I will lead you to the Promised Land", the speaker went on, adding that when you are afraid, you are sinning against God. The steps of the righteous are ordered by the Lord and He will never lead you into their captivity.

Conclusively, the speaker led the congregants through moments of intercessory prayers and prophetic/apostolic declarations as the ministration was brought to its end at about 12:45PM.

THE APOSTOLIC CHURCH NIGERIA, ABAKALIKI AREA HEADQUARTERS | SUNDAY WORSHIP SERVICE | SUN. 18TH SEPT. 2022

SPEAKER: APOSTLE (DR.) A. A. AKAJIAKU
THEME: Standing Before God to Give Account
TEXT: Rom. 14:12
REF (S): Matt. 12:35 – 36, 1Cor. 6:9-10, Gal. 5:16, Matt. 24

NOTE:

The speaker began the ministration at about 10:04AM with an opening prayer and with the recitation of the fundamental teachings of the church. Building on the chorus “on the last day (2x) only true believers shall be raptured” the speaker emphasized that only those who live a faithful life shall be entitled to the great consummation as promised to the Church by Christ Jesus.

In a brief introduction of the ministration theme, the speaker listed out that the righteous, the ungodly and the fallen angels shall give account of their distinct activities unto God. In the contemporary world, a culprit may be guilty of murder and other sorts of crimes, but his ability to get a lawyer who has the capacity to defend his crimes to the conviction of the magistrates in the law court can lead to his release.

The speaker pointed out that this in no manner would ever happen on the day of reckoning and account before God as everyone shall have his own questions to answer. Quoting from the statement of the Lord Jesus Christ (Matt. 12:36), the speaker emphasized that every idle words that proceeds out of the mouth shall be accounted for as well.

Whatever anyone does here on Earth and the motives behind them shall be part of the accounts that will be rendered unto God. God is not only interested in what you give but also in the motive that is behind the gift. The heart of man plays a significant role in the personality of a person, with this, a good mind will birth good motives and actions but an evil mind births the contrary.

It is worthy of note that no one can argue with God on the grounds of any issue because He is all-seeing, all-knowing and He will bring every work into judgement with every secret thing whether they be good or evil.

Anyone who commits sin despite his/her membership in the church is a sinner and such persons will have their parts in the flames of hell where they will spend a condemned eternity.

God is more interested in the salvation of the soul than in its condemnation, thus, He has provided Jesus as a remedy from condemnation (Rom. 8:1).

Being in Christ goes beyond mere membership in Church, it implies walking in the spirit and not after the follies of the flesh. If you are a child of God, you must be a servant to the Spirit of God.

The speaker went on to charge the congregants to depart from all appearances of unrighteousness, admonishing them to confess their sins unto God as God is ever faithful to forgive all sins.

Using the story of King David and Bathseheba (the wife of Uriah the Hittite) as a case study, the speaker portrayed that when a man leaves what he is meant to do, to do what he is not supposed to do, such will definitely find himself drowning in sin.

It was the time of the year when Kings go for battle but David had stayed back and this had only plunged him into the sin of adultery which was unacceptable in the sight of God, thus leading to severe punishment.

Conclusively, the speaker stated clearly that heaven is the dwelling place of God and a prepared place for the prepared people. Adding that whoever is not prepared for the kingdom of God cannot get into the kingdom of God.

The speaker brought the message to its end by leading the congregants through series of self-confessing and consecrating prayers in renewal of their faith and hope in God for a rewarding eternity other than condemnation.

THE APOSTOLIC CHURCH NIGERIA, ABAKALIKI AREA HEADQUARTERS | SUNDAY WORSHIP SERVICE | SUN. 11TH SEPT. 2022

SPEAKER: Apostle (Dr.) A. A. Akajiaku
THEME: Don’t Cast Stones!
TEXTS: Jn. 8:1-11
REF(S): Lev. 20:11, Deut. 22:22, Exo. 31:18, Lk. 19:10, Matt. 5:27-28

NOTE

The speaker began the ministration at about 10:22AM with an opening prayer and with the recitation of the fundamental teachings of the church. In a brief introductory exposition of the topic “Don’t Cast Stones!” the speaker admonished the congregants to be serious and fervent in their services and relationship with God in earnest anticipation of the coming of Christ Jesus.

Considering the biblical story of the adulterous woman who was brought before Christ Jesus, the speaker pointed out that righteous living unto God’s pleasure is far more important than all titles or positions acquired by anyone in the church today.

Relatively, the Pharisees had brought the adulterous woman before Christ Jesus, both with the intention of accusing her and with more intention to tempt Jesus using the contents of the Mosaic Law (Lev. 20:11, Deut. 22:22).

Obviously, the accusers had come before Jesus with the full intention of casting stones at the adulterous woman and not until Jesus had scribbled on the floor, declaring unto anyone who was without an iota of sin to cast on the stone, this which rather led to their departure.

Going on to speak on this, the speaker vividly portrayed that Jesus came into the world to save and to deliver everyone who trusts in Him, declaring that He is able to deliver us from every accusations leveled against us.

Speaking against a sinful lifestyle that makes a Christian vulnerable to the accusations of the devil, the speaker portrayed that the Lord expects everyone to be fruitful as opposed to the Fig tree (Matt. 21:19) that earned for itself, a curse from Jesus owing to its unfruitfulness.
God expects thorough repentance from everyone as membership in the church is not the criteria for the candidacy of heaven.

The speaker charged the congregants to sanctify themselves and desert from every appearance of ungodliness portraying that offending God can occur in such ways as through the thoughts of the hearts, the sights of the eyes and the activities of the body;

Thus, the speaker concluded that it is expected of every Christian to desist from judging others, casting stones at others mistakes and to look towards their own victory over sin as no one with the identity of sin shall be allowed entrance into the kingdom of Heaven.
