Womanhood is Virtue! Who can find a virtuous woman? For her price is far above rubies. It is my opinion that virtuous women are not found, they are made. Otherwise the preacher man will not be asking, who can find a virtuous woman? Every born female has virtue in her, it is vested in our DNA from when God formed us. But just as He allows us the power to choose whether or not we want be who He has created us to be, God has also given every woman the power to chose whether or not to spell virtue. While some women wonder that the Proverbs 31 woman was too perfect a woman, others just fear they may never be able to attain such level of grace, yet some think she just does not exist. All of these reasoning can only do one thing to us as women and that is, limiting us from reaching out to discover and rediscover the many potentials in us that define our womanhood as virtue. There are three character traits that concludes the Proverbs 31 woman to me. 1. Excellence: She was apt to every thing she committed her heart to do, she strikes me like the woman who will fail and rise to try it again till she gets it right. 2. She was a Lover, she loved her Lord and those in her life or how else could she have laboured for so many and never complained. 3. She had a sound mind: this woman had a good sense of judgement, she was organized knowing what time was for what purpose. Here's what I think, the many characteristics portrayed by this woman represent seasons in out lives, we may never be able to muscle all of these roles at a time but if we recognize what season we are in per time, and are able to release the exact potential needed to win that season, then we are on tract. Wife, Mother, Lover, Educationists, Instructor, Employee, Entrepreneur, Executive, Home maker, Church Leader, Community Impactor, Sister. Friend etc. One woman! Sensitivity and ability to discern our seasons is what we require to release that feminine prowess that makes us the very essence of the Home, Church, Community, Family and Workplace, otherwise we will muddle it all up and other than enjoying womanhood, we will end up stressed and burned out. We may never be able to win at all times given that imperfection is a core part of our present nature. We will mess up, we will blow it, we will fall and we will fail. When this happens Dear Sister, do not bang your head on the wall for too long, throwing your hands in the air in total surrender to your mistake, embrace Grace and rise up knowing that, the Lord's got your back always. Rahab, Bethsheba, Naomi, Mary Magdalene, they all embraced grace and we can all tell their stories. So Sister when we need to mother, we need a warm Heart, as a wife, we need submission that rises from the heart, we need loyalty to excel at work, truthfulness to be friends, affection to be sisters, commitment and integrity to excel as leaders, in fulfilling all of these roles, we need love, the strongest force ever. Remember always, charm is deceitful and beauty is vain, but a woman that fears the Lord. She shall be praised. Love.

CHOICES! We are all where we are today because of the choices (both right and wrong) we've made and not made in the past.
The choices that we make today defines us till eternity, that is why one has to ponder over his daily choices.
Most of us make mistakes by making choices and taking decisions based on our feelings and emotions. There is no doubting how important feelings are to the human existence but one should not hinge his life on a thing so fickle and ever changing as feelings. Decisions taken based on feelings and emotions may seem right at the moment, but are likely to fail on a long run.
Biblical heroes and today's great men take decisions and make choices based on knowledge and the way they envisage the future.
I know at this moment we may be wondering what one should do in an abrupt and arbitral situation. Truth is, there is always time to think; but if there is none, we must ask everyone to wait, afterall we all always have a choice no matter the coercion used against or on us.
I have thought in the past that if a person knows how hell feels like, they'll refrain from doing certain things. Not until I read "Romans 1" and particularly Verse 32.
Now I have concluded that even knowledge of consequences is not enough to guide our choices.
Apart from the fact that the law of gravity is still operational on earth which makes everything we do now come back on us later (even though God may have forgiven us), what we do now our children unborn are 98% likely to do and be the same. These children of ours are witnesses to us (they may not be visible, but know that invisibility does not mean non existent, it simply means we cannot see them) and except they totally turn to God, they'll also inherit the consequences of our today's choices.
See, any how you view it, our choices make or mar us.
For me, my standard for making choices and taking decisions is based on "What Would Jesus Do?" With this standard, there is no way I'm gonna compromise, adding to my wrong-decision-tainted past. My focus is now on my today, 'cause putting things right today would change tomorrow since I cannot alter yesterday. Your Choice is the voice that destroys or makes you Rejoice.God is still in the business of making every wrong, right!

While speaking with a senior friend about the care Havilah Friends Foundation gives to women in prisons confinement and the Neuro-Psychiatric hospital and inviting her to be part of our next project, she sarcastically quickly retorted "did I send them there?" On my system at night developing the project plan I thought about that statement and I began to season within myself. Yes, how did they get there? Crime, stealing, robbery, defrauding, cheating, lying, bearing false witness, or maybe the big one (as we always think) murder; offenses all of which I am guilty of. Maybe that's why I am doing the job you are thinking? Right, you are right. We may not have sent them in, they may be well deserving to be there but are we sure we don't deserve even worse sentences? Look inward and let your silent answer in your heart urge your heart to reach out with love to those publicly condemned knowing it's only the grace of God that defends us. I am sure that but for the love of Christ pursuing me and the free gift of grace that saved me, i may have been worse. Havilah cares beyond every offenses but only with the love of Christ. We have journeyed this far, we have fallen and risen, we have made mistakes and have learnt, we have failed and have been strengthened by these failures, we have shown weaknesses and have yet grown by the strength of the Almighty Yahweh. Now we stand by His mighty hands and are taking a walk by His leading. Women who have experienced the grace of God beyond our pain and shame, ready in courage to stand for the gospel of light, truth and liberty, reaching out to challenged, broken and vulnerable women, while holding hands with the stronger women. We now say that womanhood is virtue and we bless God because we are women.
