Elder Paul Ebong — "Are You a True Christian?"
(2 Corinthians 13:5; John 14:6; John 3:16)

Many Christians today are not true believers — they are simply churchgoers. This is why the question must be asked: are you a true Christian?

A true Christian has genuinely accepted Christ, and true repentance is evident in their life. It is important that we examine ourselves regularly to be certain we are still standing firm in the faith (cf. Nicodemus, John 3).

Living with eternity in view is the whole essence of the Christian life. Being an example of Christ should be a constant, all-round practice — not something reserved for certain places or occasions. The cares of this world can weigh heavily on us, but we must fix our hope and trust in God.

Marks of a true believer:

1. Must obey the Word of God
2. Must demonstrate love (Matthew 22:37–39)
3. Must have faith in God
4. Must bear all the fruits of the Spirit
5. Must not live for himself
6. Must follow Christ daily (Luke 9:23)
7. Must not continue in sin (Luke 15:11–24)
8. Must always stand by the truth
9. Must be compassionate

Benefits of Being a True Christian
1. Peace with God (Romans 5:1)
2. Sure of eternal life
3. Holy Spirit will be your guidance
4. Strength in time of trials (Isaiah 41:10)
5. Victory over temptation
6. Future Hope (1 Peter 1:3)

The Apostolic Church Murray Area Youth Crowned Champions of EDIYCON 2026 Football Tournament

The Apostolic Church Murray Area Youth football team emerged as winners of the EDIYCON 2026 Football Tournament, capping a remarkable run of skill, teamwork, and determination.

The championship medals were presented today at the grand finale of EDIYCON, amid cheers from supporters, fellow participants, and guests.

The victory reflects the discipline, unity, and spirit of excellence that define the Murray Area youth. The Area extends heartfelt congratulations to the team, their coaches, and everyone who supported them along the way.

2ND TERM HARVEST/ THANKSGIVING SERVICE

Text: Galatians 6:3-10, Deuteronomy 28:12
Theme: "HARVEST OF ABUNDANT BLESSINGS"

Harvest is the gathering in of crops. Harvest comes only after sowing.

Abundant blessings refers to an overflowing goodness, spiritual richness, generous favour and grace bestowed by God unto individuals.
It is a commission binded by a following phrase by God, which state; "if you keep my commandment".

KEYS TO A GREATER HARVEST
* The seed (Mark 4:31-32): The word of God is the seed that must be planted in the heart of men.

* Season: Every seed must be planted in its season (John 4:35-36).

* Servant (Matthew 21: 28-30).

* The soil: Every seed must be planted into the soil (Mark 4:8).

* Sacrifice (Psalms 126:6): This is a personal sacrifice before God.

* Showers (1 Corinthians 4:3): Rain is indispensable for the harvest.

* Sure hope (Galatians 6:9).

‎Psalm 24:8 describes our Lord as the Lord of hosts, mighty in battle and the King of glory.
‎
‎There are lords in the earth whose territory is limited and the leadership temporary, but the Lord of hosts is the creator that was never created. He existed even before the beginning of creation.
‎
‎Why is he with US and who are the US?
‎Matthew 28:20 affirms God's promise to be with us at all times. The 'US' refers to the former and latter disciples of Jesus which we are part of.
‎
‎IMPLICATION OF GOD'S PRESENCE TO US
‎- You shall have peace (Jer. 29:11-14)
‎- He gives us hope
‎- No weapon formed against us shall prosper (Isa. 64:17)
‎- His purpose about us shall not fail (Isa.55:11, Psalm 34:15).
‎
‎The eyes of the Lord is always on the righteous, His ears is open to hear their cry. (Psalm 34:15).
‎
‎We can sustain God's presence by holding firm to Him, living in the body of Christ and yielding to the service of His kingdom.
