*SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT*
The Boys’ Brigade, Cross River State Council hereby invites all members to participate actively in the General Assembly Meeting and 180th Anniversary Celebration of The Presbyterian Church of Nigeria scheduled to hold from Fri. 14th – Thur. 20th August 2026 at The Presbyterian Church of Nigeria, Hope Waddell Parish, Calabar.

As a recognised and integral arm of the Church, the Boys’ Brigade is expected to play an active role in this historic celebration. Consequently, all Companies within the Metropolis are enjoined to ensure full participation and adequate representation.

To prepare adequately for the occasion, the following arrangements have been made:

*Parade Rehearsals*
Date: Tue 11th & Thur 13th August 2026
Time: 3pm
Venue: Hope Waddell Training Institution, Calabar

*Official Opening & 180th Anniversary Celebration*
Date: Sat. 15th August 2026
Venue: The Presbyterian Church of Nigeria, Hope Waddell Parish, Calabar
Dress Code: Complete BB Uniform

The State Trainers’ Forum, Media Team, Band Corps and other relevant units are to ensure adequate preparation and full readiness for the activities.

All members are strongly encouraged to make themselves available for both rehearsal sessions and the main event, and to be punctual at all times.

We particularly appeal to all Company leaders within the Metropolis to mobilise their members and ensure a strong and befitting BB presence at this historic celebration.

*REMINDER: 2ND EDITION OF THE 2026 STATE BASIC TRAINING COURSE @ IKOM*

This is a gentle reminder that registration for the 2nd Edition of the 2026 State Basic Training Course is still ongoing.

The training is scheduled to hold from Wed 5th to Sat 8th August 2026 and will be hosted by Ikom Battalion Council.

Registration Fee: ₦8,000 per participant.

Registration closes on Sun 26th July 2026. All eligible members who are yet to complete their Basic Training are encouraged to register before the deadline.

Members who participated in the April edition at Calabar are exempted from attending.

All Captains, Group/Battalion Secretaries are kindly requested to give this reminder the widest publicity and ensure that all eligible Officers complete their registration before the closing date.
