*Day 25: The Man Lowered Through the Roof (part 2)*

*Scripture:* "They could not bring him to Jesus because of the crowd... they lowered him on his mat" (Mark 2:4, expanded)

*Prophetic Insight:* The crowd blocked the door. Mercy found an alternative route. When the conventional path is obstructed, grace creates new architecture. The friends went up—not sideways, not around. Sometimes the way to Jesus is UP: through prayer, through persistence, through unconventional faith. And note: the man came down through the roof whole. What goes up in faith comes down in healing.

*Wisdom Nugget:* The roof was likely made of clay, branches, and dirt. They destroyed someone's property to get their friend to Jesus. Real mercy is disruptive and costly.

*Reflection Question:* What "roof" are you unwilling to tear through because it might be messy or costly?

*Prophetic Declaration:* "I declare that I refuse to be stopped by crowds or closed doors. If the entrance is blocked, I will find the roof. I am not waiting for circumstances to clear—I am making a way where there is no way. My faith is disruptive."

*Prayer:* Lord, give me the audacity of four friends. Make me willing to tear through what's comfortable to get people to You. And when I'm too paralyzed to come myself, send me roof-tearers. Amen.

• A vessel is a container used for a purpose.
• ⁠spiritually,God uses people as a vessel to manifest his glory.
• ⁠A vessel of honor is one who is sanctified for his glory.

*Characteristics Of a Vessel Of
Honor*
1. Purity. Psalm 15:1-2,65:5,Isaiah 65:5
2. ⁠Obedience. (A vessel becomes useful through obedience).1sam 15:22
3. ⁠Humility. 1pet 5:5
4. ⁠Availability. Isaiah 6:8
=> Example: Esther( she made herself available and she found herself in the palace). Another example: Paul.

*Characteristics of a vessel of Dishonor*
1. Disobedience. 1sam 15:33
2. ⁠Impurity and sim. Isaiah 59:2
3. ⁠Pride. Prov 16:18
Example: (I) Sampson( he was a vessel of honor but disobedience made him a vessel of dishonor).
(2). King Solomon. 1kings 11:4
(3). Cain. Genesis 1:8
• Unchecked bitterness can lead to disobedience.
• ⁠As a vessel of honor,consistency matters.

*Day 24: Nebuchadnezzar's Restoration*

*Scripture:* "Now I, Nebuchadnezzar, praise and exalt and glorify the King of heaven" (Daniel 4:37)

*Prophetic Insight:* The most powerful king on earth lost his mind. He became like an animal, eating grass, living outdoors for seven seasons. God humbled him to heal him. When his sanity returned, he didn't return to arrogance—he returned to worship. Sometimes mercy takes everything from you (including your mind) to give you back something better: a true vision of who God is.

*Wisdom Nugget:* The king's "seven times" (probably seven years) of madness was mercy masquerading as judgment. Humiliation is often the ambulance of grace when pride has become terminal.

*Reflection Question:* What has God allowed you to lose that ended up being the best thing that happened to your soul?

*Prophetic Declaration:* "I declare that any 'crazy' season I've endured was not abandonment—it was intervention. If I have eaten grass, I will eat it no more. I lift my eyes to heaven, and my sanity returns in the form of worship. I praise the King who humbles to heal."

*Prayer:* King of heaven, I've been proud of my achievements, my kingdom, my power. Humble me before I humiliate myself. If You need to take my throne to save my soul, take it. But give me back a heart that worships. Amen.

*Day 23: The Healing of the Paralytic*

*Scripture:* "When Jesus saw their faith, He said, 'Son, your sins are forgiven'" (Mark 2:5)

*Prophetic Insight:* Four friends tore through a roof to lower a paralyzed man to Jesus. Jesus saw their faith—not the man's. Sometimes mercy comes on the strength of others' prayers. When you cannot carry yourself to Jesus, grace provides carriers. And note: Jesus forgave his sins before healing his legs. The deeper mercy was spiritual; the physical was secondary.

*Wisdom Nugget:* The scribes thought Jesus was blaspheming because only God can forgive sins. They were right about who can forgive, wrong about who Jesus is. Mercy requires a verdict about Jesus' identity.

*Reflection Question:* Who carried you to Jesus when you couldn't come on your own? And whose roof are you willing to tear through for someone else?

*Prophetic Declaration:* "I declare that I am not alone in my need. Mercy has placed people around me who will tear through roofs to get me to Jesus. And I will be that person for someone else. I receive the forgiveness that comes before the healing."

*Prayer:* Jesus, thank You for the friends who didn't give up on me. Forgive the sins I've been paralyzed by. And where I have strength to walk, make me a roof-tearer for the still-paralyzed. Amen.

*Day 22: Rahab's Scarlet Cord*

*Scripture:* "By faith the pr******te Rahab... welcomed the spies in peace" (Hebrews 11:31)

*Prophetic Insight:* Rahab's profession should have made her the first to die when Jericho fell. Instead, her house on the wall became the only one standing. She hung a scarlet cord from her window—a sign of the blood, a sign of mercy. Her faith didn't erase her past; it repurposed her future. She became an ancestor of Jesus. Mercy takes the most unlikely and places them in the lineage of the Messiah.

*Wisdom Nugget:* Rahab is one of only four women mentioned in Matthew's genealogy of Jesus (along with Tamar, Ruth, and Bathsheba)—all with questionable pasts. Mercy doesn't hide your story; it rewrites it into His story.

*Reflection Question:* What part of your past have you been trying to hide that mercy wants to repurpose for God's lineage?

*Prophetic Declaration:* "I declare that my past does not disqualify me—it positions me. Like Rahab, I hang the scarlet cord of the blood of Jesus over my house. I am not hidden; I am honored in the genealogy of grace."

*Prayer:* Lord, I've been ashamed of my Rahab story—the parts I wish never happened. But You don't hide them; You highlight them. Take my scarlet cord and weave it into Your redemption narrative. Amen.
