DON’T STOP WORSHIPPING

“Then came she and worshipped him, saying, Lord, help me.” (Matthew 15: 25)

That is the Focal Scripture of Streams of Joy Devotional today.

Our Focal Scripture speaks of that moment when the woman of Canaan came and worshipped Jesus. She came to worship Jesus at a time when her daughter was grievously vexed with a devil. She came to worship Jesus when she had unresolved issues. It was a difficult season for her, but her difficulties did not get in the way of her worship to Jesus. What she was yet to receive did not stop her from worshipping.

Friend, things may still be difficult, but dare to worship. Your prayers may not yet be answered, but dare to worship. Your doors and gates may not yet be open, but dare to worship. Your expectations may not yet have become your reality, but dare to worship. Your miracles may not have manifested, but dare to worship. Your helpers may not yet have come to you, but dare to worship. Let no difficulty get in the way of your worship.

The woman from Canaan still had a daughter who was afflicted, at home; she had a huge problem that could distract her from worshipping; she had a problem that could have taken all her attention away from the Master, but she worshipped nonetheless. No matter how much difficulties you are dealing with, never allow any of them to take your attention away from Jesus. Never even allow your prayer points distract you from loving and serving Jesus.

Jesus had already given a verdict that was not in that woman’s favour, but when she worshipped, He changed the verdict. The worship of that woman caused the verdict against her to change. Her worship caused the door of mercy to be opened to her. When you worship, the doors of mercy will open. When you worship, every verdict against you will be reversed. When you worship, difficult things will be made easy.

Don’t be counted amongst those whose worship, devotion, commitment, consecration, etc. nosedived because there were difficulties. Look beyond the unresolved issues of your life, and just worship Jesus.

Psalm 149: 6 says: “Let the high praises of God be in their mouth, and a twoedged sword in their hand;”

Declare With Me: No negativity will get in the way of my worship, in Jesus’ name!

You are called to be a dominion-practitioner. God's plan is for you to be in charge. Your calling is of God, it is not an accident.

Living a life of dominion demands that you look into the Scriptures and find out what God has said about you; refuse to accept anything less.

God wants to show forth His power through what you are going through.
Whenever challenges come your way, don't be afraid to show your license; speak the Word.

Faith is not complete until you say something. Keep saying it until you see it in reality.

You cannot exercise dominion without the knowledge of who you are in Christ.

You cannot exercise dominion without deploying your gift. Grow and refine the gift God deposited in you to bless your world. Mix your gifting with grace.

You are not designed to fail; God's warranty is upon your life.

FROM NO TO YES

“But he answered and said, I am not sent but unto the lost sheep of the house of Israel.” (Matthew 15: 24)

That is the Focal Scripture of Streams of Joy Devotional today.

In our Focal Scripture, Jesus whilst responding to the woman of Canaan, affirmed that He was not sent (to others) but to the lost sheep of the house of Israel. Jesus was simply affirming that He had no business granting a miracle to that woman of Canaan. Jesus, by His comment, was ruling her out of her desired miracle. He was simply saying a big NO to that woman of Canaan. In the end, despite initially saying no, Jesus changed His mind and gave her the miracle she desired.

Friend, hear me as I hear the Lord: for every No you have received, prepare to get a YES. Those that said no to you in time past are about to change their minds. Those that rejected you in time past are about to accept you. Those that had negative verdicts against you in time past are about to change their minds towards you. Those that vowed not to help you in time past are about to turn around and help you. Those that closed the chapters of your favour in the past are about to reopen them.

The same Jesus that said no to the woman of Canaan, was the same Jesus that turned and made the proclamation for her daughter’s healing. Hear me as I hear the Lord: in those same places where you received negative reports, you are about to receive positive reports. In the same places where doors were shut at you, those same doors are about to be opened. You are getting a Yes in the location where you got a No in time past.

That rejection you may have received in time past is not the final word on that matter. You are moving from No to Yes. You are moving from rejection to acceptance. You are moving from judgement to mercy. You are moving from disfavor to favour. You are moving from negative reports to positive reports. You are moving from closed doors to open doors. You are moving from back to front. You are moving from valley to mountain.

Get ready to have men change their minds for good, in your favour. Get ready to have every No change to a Yes.

1 Peter 2: 10 says: “Which in time past were not a people, but are now the people of God: which had not obtained mercy, but now have obtained mercy.”

Declare With Me: Every NO is becoming a YES, in Jesus’ name!
