NO EVIL REVERSAL

“And he said, When ye do the office of a midwife to the Hebrew women, and see them upon the stools; if it be a son, then ye shall kill him: but if it be a daughter, then she shall live.” (Exodus 1: 16)

That is the Focal Scripture of Streams of Joy Devotional today.

The proposal of Pharaoh to the Hebrew midwives was that if any of the Hebrew women came for their services, they should kill the male new born babies. That meant that people would come all the way to the place of birth, push out their baby, and go home in tears because their baby had been killed. Coming to the place of birth means good news is waiting; Pharaoh wanted them to come to the place of good news but leave with bad news.

Friend, hear me as I hear the Lord: you will not come to the place of good news and leave with bad news. You will not come to the place where your expectations are to be met, only for the enemy to prevail. You will not come to the environment of your congratulations, and leave empty-handed. You will not come to the place that should make you smile, and end up leaving in tears. You will not come to the place of birth, and leave a mourner.

Pharaoh’s plan was that the babies would be killed. It was not that they were to be born dead. They were to be born alive, but then, they would be killed. The plan was to see good news that was alive, and kill it. Hear me as I hear the Lord: every plan of the enemy to kill your good news, I decree, he will not prevail. Any plan of the enemy to squeeze life out of your good news, let fire answer. Your own good news will not die.

If God has given it to you, the enemy will not take it from you. If God has already made it happen for you, the enemy cannot undo it. No good news that has already come your way will be killed. No open door will be shut afterwards. No congratulations will turn to bitter tears. No elevation will lead to your destruction. No good news of life will end in death. No wicked hand will kill your good news. No attack of the enemy will waste your good news.

Welcome to that season where your good news will not be killed. Welcome to that season where your good news will not turn to bad news.

Isaiah 14: 27 says: “For the LORD of hosts hath purposed, and who shall disannul it? and his hand is stretched out, and who shall turn it back?”

Declare With Me: My good news will not be killed; places of good news will not feed me with bad news, in Jesus’ name!

KINGDOM DOMINION

That is the Focal Scripture of Streams of Joy Devotional today.

In our Focal Scripture, Pharaoh entreated the Hebrew midwives to use their office as midwives to kill the male children of the Hebrew women. Hebrew women occupied the office of midwives in Egypt; they had a covenant with God, and they occupied offices; the king wanted them to use their office to do evil against the male children of Israel. They had capacity to occupy a sensitive office, but they refused to do evil in their office.

Friend, can God trust you to be a ‘midwife’ that will not use your office to perpetuate evil and negativity? Can God trust you to be an officer under whose watch there will be no evil? Can God trust you to resist the urge to do what will damage the people and the nation? Can God trust you to be that one who will not allow negativity to be normalized in the marketplace? Can you be that midwife that says no to evil no matter the king involved?

These Hebrew midwives were part of a health system. They were embedded in a system, and they refused to have the system turned against the people. They refused to allow the system to work negativity. If God has placed you in a place of influence, then shut the door of negativity; shut the door of wickedness; shut the door of mediocrity; shut the door of incompetence; man the gates of human systems, and enforce kingdom rules.

The oil on your head is not just for show. Be skillful, but yet powerful. Be dutiful and diligent, but yet consecrated. Be the example of the kingdom in the marketplace. Create a mix of excellence and kingdom power in your sphere of influence. Create a mix of greatness and kingdom flavour in your space. Takeover the marketplace for God. Cause kingdom to manifest in your space.

You have a mandate to bring kingdom dominion into your space. If God be for you, then show it in your marketplace influence.Take over the systems of this world and enforce kingdom governance therein.

Luke 10: 19 says: “Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.”

EVIL CONVERSATIONS

That is the Focal Scripture of Streams of Joy Devotional today.

Our Focal Scripture speaks of that moment when Pharaoh told the Hebrew midwives to kill the children of the Hebrew women. There was a conversation between Pharaoh and the Hebrew midwives, to the end that death should be orchestrated against the male children of the Hebrew women. There was a conversation unknown to would-be mothers, plotting to kill what was coming their way. There was a conversation for negativity.

Friend, hear me as I hear the Lord: every wicked suggestion to orchestrate your downfall, I command it to scatter by fire. Every satanic voice instigating systems to work against you, I silence them by fire. Every wicked voice that is making satanic enchantments so that you will lose your life, let the fire of God answer them. Every wicked voice that says you will not enjoy the fruit of your labour, let the fire of God answer them.

I silence every voice that is calling death around you. I silence every voice that is calling for your downfall. I silence very voice that is speaking so that you will have bitter tears. I silence every voice that wants to hand you over to the wishes of your enemies. I silence every voice that wants to make a mess of your tomorrow. I silence every voice that wants to institutionalize negativity against you. I silence every wicked voice against you.

The Hebrew midwives refused to heed to the wicked idea of Pharaoh. He instructed them to do evil; he had a conversation with them about the evil to be done, but they refused to execute his wicked plans. I pray for you: may the ears of your helpers be blocked against the evil suggestions of your haters. May the words of your haters be faint in the ears of your helpers. May the wicked suggestions of Pharaoh be rejected by ‘midwives’.

Welcome to that season where the voices of your haters will not be heard in places where your name is mentioned. Welcome to that season where every conversation to hurt you will come to nothing.

Isaiah 8: 10 says: “Take counsel together, and it shall come to nought; speak the word, and it shall not stand: for God is with us.”
