WHY YOU CARELESS ABOUT PREACHING THE GOSPEL! (Pt 1)

Every christian's MANDATE is to preach the gospel. Bible called us to evangelize. Evangelism is at the heart of the Great Commission (Matthew 28:19–20). Christians are called to be witnesses of their faith to a watching world (Acts 1:8). But many Believers do all church activities but share their fath. Why is it so?
If a believer is not not motivated enough to share his or her faith, the obvious reason could be because that believer is a FAKE convert.
A fake convert is a believer who believed without hearing the Gospel. There are many of such Believers today, expecially in this era where many churches have attempted to make church sermons more marketable for modern sensibilities. The gospel, which is about Jesus Christ , his death, burial and resurrection, what it did for humanity and how everyone can benefit from it ( 1 Cor 15:1-4) ( 2 Jn 1:9-12) is being compromised. Preaching about sin, judgment, hell, and salvation through Jesus alone is not emphasized as much as messages about how Christianity can make our lives better—improve our marriages, help us raise our kids, and assist us in eliminating bad habits. The pragmatic has replaced the theological in many churches. This brand of Christianity may appeal more to a postmodern world, but it fails to confront people with the truth of their sin and their need for salvation available in Jesus alone. Souls are won not through promises of a better life in the here and now but through the power of the gospel as the only solution for our sin.

Anyone who tries to get to heaven by keeping any set of rules or those commandments given in the Law will be disappointed because he or she will fail and fall short. The law was given to us by God not for the purpose of earning our way to heaven, but to show us that we are not perfect and cannot keep any set or rules (Gal. 3:22-24). This reminds me of promises I have made to myself about things I desire to do or not do. Most of them I keep, but I have not kept all of them. If I cannot even keep my own commitments, how can I do the things that God wants me to do? The law was designed to show us that we need another way to gain God’s favor and get to heaven. The law was designed to lead us to Jesus or to show us that we need Jesus.

Therefore the Law has become our tutor to lead us to Christ, that we may be justified by faith. (NASB) Gal. 3:24

THE BELIEVERS MANDATE

Dan.12.3 Those who are wise will shine as bright as the sky, and those who turn many to righteousness will shine like stars forever. (NLT)
Beloved, One very important lesson I learnt of late is that, a person could waste an important part of his living if he refuses to come into significance; if he refuses to impact lives around, the family and in the community or in the society. Like Daniel 12:3 rightly Said, anyone who turns many people to Christ (rightousness) will shine like STARS forever.
The acclaimed Stars of this world, musicians and movie stars are who they are because of many people they have influenced.
As a child of God, heaven wants you to be a 🌟 and not just like those of this world who are rich and popular today but broke and forgotten tomorrow. But as a STAR forever, both here on Earth and in the life to come. Wow! What an awesome experience this will be!

SOLDIERS OF CHRIST ( Pt 1)

Part of our identity in Christ is that of a soldier, you must not forget this fact. That means we are engaged in spiritual warfare for Christ and we must go all out into the battlefield and our master proud. How? By being on the offensive by doing evangelism and preaching the Gospel to those who are lost. Paul told Timothy, “share in suffering as a good soldier of Christ Jesus.” – 2 Timothy 2:3
No soldier gets entangled in civilian pursuits, since his aim is to please the one who enlisted him.”
Christians are called many things in many ways in the Bible, right? believers, children of God. temple of the Holy Spirit, worshipers of God etc, but the one that stick me most is " AS A SOLDIER OF CHRIST" There is something unique in this life about being a soldier of the most high God.

PREACH THE GOSPEL WHERE YOU ARE

Living for Jesus Christ and making yourself relevant in preaching His gospel are the things that count the most in life. Your life should be about soul winning. Refuse to make the lesser things of life your focus; be all out for the Gospel.

In 1 Corinthians 9:16, Paul said, “…necessity is laid upon me; yea, woe is unto me, if I preach not the gospel!” He lived to fulfil God’s dream of making the Gospel known to the Gentiles. Have that same feelings too! You’re an ambassador and a steward of the mysteries of Christ. You’re a soldier in Christ’s army and must therefore remain militant in bringing God’s Word to those in your world, touching them with the love of Christ and the glory of His grace. Don't let a day pass you by without you preaching the gospel with someone. That's what Apologia Believers Fellowship is all about. We learn and preach Christ. THE SOLUTION IS IN YOU

Eph.1.13 And now you also have heard the truth, the Good News that God saves you. And when you believed in Christ, he identified you as his own by giving you the Holy Spirit, whom he promised long ago. (NLT)

Beloved let no one fool you, the blessing, victory everything we need to live here on earth has being given to us already. We are not going to be blessed for we are already blessed. This happened the day we got saved. On that day God gave us His spirit. It was this same spirit that enabled Jesus to raise the dead, walk on the sea, calm the ranging storm etc. Let me shock you, it is this same Holy Spirit that did the greatest miracle on earth, (raised Christ from the death) Is in us! Rom.8.11 The Spirit of God, who raised Jesus from the dead, lives in you. And just as he raised Christ from the dead, he will give life to your mortal body by this same Spirit living within you. (NLT) Oh my God! Glory to Jesus. No wonder Apostle Paul wrote in Rom.8.11 The Spirit of God, who raised Jesus from the dead, lives in you. And just as he raised Christ from the dead, he will give life to your mortal body by this same Spirit living within you. (NLT). Wonderful! I will not go looking for miracles anymore, for I carry, the miracle worker, wave walker, feeder of the multitude, funeral breaker, death raiser inside of me. Woooooh am going crazy guys. I fear nothing and nobody, reason. Christ dwells in me. Glory to Jesus.

THERE IS ONE GOSPEL FOR ALL PEOPLE, NO MATTER WHAT THEIR CULTURE OR BACKGROUND.

For me, this is a strong proof that the gospel is from God. Wherever it goes, whether to the most advanced universities of the world or to the most primitive Stone Age cultures, it has the same effect: It transforms lives as people are reconciled to God through faith in Jesus Christ.

DISCOVER JESUS AND YOUR SEARCH IS OVER.

The reason nightclub houses are always full to the bim, beer parlours are never short of customers, red light streets is in every city, is because of man's search for the Holy grail. Because everyone is born disconnected from the source (God) man is always searching and will forever search until they found the man Jesus!
The world doesn’t understand why we can be so passionateabout the man, Jesus. Until you know Jesus, God will only be anidea to you. Your search, however, stops when you meet thisawesome, glorious, Lord of heaven and earth. That’s why we tellpeople, “Discover Jesus!” When you discover Him, you discoverreality; you discover life. Hallelujah!

THE FATHER'S NEED

The joy of every matured child of God, should be what can I do for my Father! But must often is always about what God is to do for us. Many of us even forget that God has a need. Yes! God don't only has a need but He also expect His children to help him out with it. Our father's need can be found in 1 Timothy 2:4, His need is that all people be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth. But how can they be saved without a preacher
Rom.10.14 But how can they call on him to save them unless they believe in him? And how can they believe in him if they have never heard about him? And how can they hear about him unless someone tells them? (NLT)
Who desires all people to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth. The precious truth that Jesus Christ has already paid for their sins and all they need do is accept Him as their Lord and personal savior and they will be saved. This is the mandate God gave to everyone of His children. It is the great commission Mark 16:15 " Go into all the world and preach the Good News to everyone, everywhere. (NLT)
