HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO MY DEAR WIFE, REV. MRS. IDORENYIN ESHIET

Today, I Rev.Evang. Isonguyo Eshiet celebrate not just my wife, but a woman who has been my backbone in ministry, my source of strength, in the place of prayers and a faithful partner in the journey of life and service.

Ever since we got married, you have stood firmly by me. You pray for me tirelessly, encourage me continually, and have remained a dependable partner in the work God has entrusted to us.

Your life and commitment have become a positive example to many pastor’s wives. I am grateful to God for the gift of you.

On this special day, I pray that the God of Heaven will bless you abundantly, increase you in strength and good health, enlarge your influence for His glory, and make you a thousand times better than you are today.

AG ELEME DISTRICT MINISTERS AND CHURCH LEADERS SUMMIT 2026

The Assemblies of God, Eleme District Ministers and Church Leaders Summit 2026 featured a powerful and insightful message centered on the need for ministers and church leaders to develop themselves spiritually and practically for greater effectiveness in ministry.

MINISTERING: Rev. Evang. Eshiet Isonguyo
TOPIC: Building Capacity in the Ministry
TEXTS: Acts 1:8; 2 Timothy 2:15; Haggai 1:4; Luke 4:18–19

Speaking on the theme, “Building Capacity in the Ministry,” Rev.Evang. Isonguyo Eshiet emphasized that effective ministry requires spiritual empowerment, proper preparation, commitment to God's work, and dependence on the Holy Spirit.

Drawing from Acts 1:8, he highlighted the importance of the power of the Holy Spirit in ministry. He noted that ministers need divine empowerment to become effective witnesses and to carry out their assignments with spiritual authority and boldness.

Reflecting on 2 Timothy 2:15, the message stressed the importance of diligent study and proper understanding of God's Word. Ministers were encouraged to continually equip themselves with the Scriptures so they can rightly teach, guide, and build the people entrusted to their care.

From Haggai 1:4, attention was drawn to the importance of putting God's work and kingdom priorities in their proper place. Ministers and church leaders were challenged to examine their priorities and remain committed to the advancement of God's work.

The message also drew from Luke 4:18–19, emphasizing the ministry of the Holy Spirit and the mandate to preach the Gospel, proclaim liberty, bring healing, and minister hope to the broken and oppressed.

TOPIC: Hunger For More Of God
TEXT: Philippians 3:7, 10; Psalm 42:1–3; Psalm 110:3

The AG. Esan District Mega Revival commenced with a powerful call for believers to develop a deeper hunger and passion for God.

Ministering on Day 1, . Evang. Isonguyo Eshiet challenged the Church to move beyond being satisfied with past experiences and to continually pursue a deeper knowledge of Christ and a stronger relationship with God.

🔥 HIGHLIGHTS FROM THE MESSAGE

📌 Knowing Christ should be our greatest pursuit. Paul counted his previous gains as loss compared with the surpassing value of knowing Christ. (Phil. 3:7, 10)

📌 Spiritual hunger creates a deeper desire for God. Just as the deer pants for streams of water, believers must develop a genuine and persistent thirst for God's presence. (Ps. 42:1–2)

📌 A hungry heart will continually seek more of God. Our spiritual journey should not stop at yesterday's experience. There must be a continual desire to know God more deeply.

📌 Hunger for God produces a life of pursuit. A believer who truly desires God will intentionally seek Him through prayer, the Word, worship, and fellowship.

📌 God desires willing vessels. Psalm 110:3 reminds us of the willingness of God's people in the day of His power. Our hunger for God should be expressed through willing surrender and service.

📌 There is always more of God to know. The message encouraged believers to remain spiritually hungry, refusing complacency and continually pressing deeper into God's presence.

The meeting was marked by worship, the teaching of God's Word, prayer, and a renewed spiritual desire for more of God. 🙏🔥

Day 1 was indeed a call to deeper pursuit, deeper fellowship, and deeper knowledge of Christ.
