1. Thanksgiving is a direct command from God - 1Chron. 16:34; Lam. 3:22-23; Ps. 105:1; 106:1

- When you obey divine command, He(God) glorifies you

2. Thanksgiving must be done willingly and cheerfully - Lev. 22:29; 2Cor. 9:7
