BE OF GOOD CHEER:
No other one in the world has such secrets of joy as has the Christian. Christ teaches his followers to rejoice. He bids them rejoice even in sorrow and trial. It would have been of no avail, however, merely to command them to be of good cheer, if he had not put sources of joy within their reach.
Cheerfulness is seeing the bright side and looking for the good in whatever happens. It is maintaining a positive attitude of optimism and confidence. When we give cheerfully we are wholeheartedly helpful. Even when life is challenging, we make the best of it.

Sometimes we find ourselves in situations that seems to weigh you down and feel less about yourself.
Life on earth isn't all rosy, that isn't what the bible promised.
Gen 14; says the earth was cursed because of Adams sin, and the Lord said that Eve's sorrows would be multiplied so pain on earth is inevitable..
Jesus affirming that trials and temptations will come then said we should be of good cheer.
John 16:32-33

We thank God for giving you knowledge and wisdom of understanding. Your sermons are so touching and have inspired many us in the church to always strive hard to do the will of God no matter how little. Ma, as you mark your birthday, we wish you good health, happiness, and lots of beautiful things in this world and hereafter.

Thank you for your concern over our spiritual life. You are an exemplary and visionary church leader who has dedicated her life to planting the word of gospel in our hearts and winning more souls into the kingdom of God.

FULFILLING YOUR CALING: Times of Testing and Maturing

If you have ever felt like God has given you something and then has been silent about it, know this is a normal part of God’s leadership. So the question is why. Why does He give us things and then remains silent on what to do with them?

MOVING FORWARD
When God’s not speaking is often because you’re in a time of testing and maturing, which is the preparation for your transition into another season. The time of silence is a time that will determine your next steps. God’s providing a context for you to use what you’ve learned.
OUR PRIMARY TEST
The first one is to just start investing what you have. The two servants that went and just invested their talents were called faithful. The master did not measure them on what they earned back, just on being faithful. You cannot measure your return because only the Good God that distributes talents can measure that correctly.

JESUS THE RULING KING
The Bible tells us that at that beginning point of history, in that other Garden, when the woman ate of the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil, and when the man ate of the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil, a curse came up on the universe in which their bodies were turning into dust, in which the world that they live in is full of thorns and of thistles. What the gospel of the resurrection tells us is that Jesus took that curse upon himself. Those thorns that God said would appear on the ground were crushed down onto his head. He, the King of all the universe, was taken down off of the cross, purple and bloated and drowning in his own blood with water pouring out of his side. He was a dead body, he was a co**se, he was under the bo***ge to corruption and decay, and Mary expected to find him in that condition.

She was bringing with her some spices. She was bringing some embalming stuff to try to keep him preserved just a little bit longer, but she doesn't find him there. She doesn't find the corruption of that first Garden there. Instead, she finds angels, just as angels had been present from the very beginning. In the first story, the angel was there outside the Garden with a sword because God said, "I do not want my children who have turned themselves corrupt. I do not want them to eat of the tree of life and to live that way forever and ever and ever without hope." This angel speaks to the woman and says to the woman, "Go out into the garden." He points her out of that grave. As she runs out of that hole in the ground, she runs into what she thinks is a stranger.

Notice also that in this garden God reverses the story of alienation. Mary is standing there, in verse 11, outside of the grave. She thinks that she is alone in the garden and she is sobbing and crying. She thinks that her whole world has come to an end when someone speaks to her and says, "Why are you crying, why are you upset, what's wrong?" The Bible tells us that she thought that this was a hired worker who was there tilling the ground in the garden, and she turns and she starts sobbing to him. She does not know who he is until he speaks her name.

HOLINESS THE CERTIFIED PASSPORT TO HEAVEN
1Thess 4:7,1 Peter 1:15-16
*Firstly holiness is life without sim, there is nothing more beautiful than holiness
*Holiness can take place in our lives through sanctification,sanctification by the blood of Jesus, so without sanctification there is no holiness, it's a Christian experience that makes the hrt soft and loving getting rid of all impurities, this experience is one the great benefits we get from christ.
According to Hebrew 12: 14 says ‘without Holiness, no one will see the Lord’. It doesn’t matter if the person is born again or not; be it Pastor or member; born into a Christian family or otherwise. That was emphatic that ‘no one’ their church membership or ecclesiastically title or status notwithstanding, will see the lord. One of the major goals of every Christian is to see the lord for if only in the world we have hope we are of all men most miserable 1 Corinth. 15: 19. The question then would be what qualifies to see God? John 3: 3 provides the first answer, you must be born again. Then, you must be holy. What is holiness? Is holiness impossible? How is it different from righteousness? How can I be Holy?

Conclusion
Holiness is the passport to heaven. We can be holy by avoiding whatever promote sin in us, avoid the hinderances to holiness and through the help of the Holy Spirit for ‘And there shall in no wise enter into it anything that defileth, neither whatsoever worketh abomination, or maketh a lie: but they which are written in the Lamb's book of life’. May we all get there in Jesus name!
