LEARNING DOMINION FROM THE EAGLE

The eagle is one unique creatures of God.

If we truly want to walk in dominion as Christians, then the eagle is an animal worth studying.

Beyond its strength, sharp vision that can spot prey from about 3 kilometers away, powerful wings, and ability to soar above storms, the eagle carries a hidden discipline many people overlook.

At a certain stage of its life, the eagle retreats. It leaves its familiar environment, ascends to the mountains, and goes through a season of renewal. It withdraws from activity before returning with renewed strength.

Dominion is not about public display of power. It is sustained by private seasons of retreat.

As believers, there must be deliberate moments when we withdraw to pray, to wait on God, and to be spiritually sharpened. There are seasons to break unhealthy habits.
Seasons to fast.
Seasons to disconnect from distractions so that spiritual strength can be renewed.

You cannot dominate publicly if you have not been renewed privately.

Dominion is sustained by discipline.
Strength is built in retreat.
Victory is prepared in secret.

The Foundation of Walking in Dominion

To walk in dominion, we need both power and wisdom.

The Holy Spirit carries power, but His power is exercised through a holy life.
Scripture is clear that fellowship with the Spirit requires purity and obedience.

You cannot operate in the power of the Holy Spirit without the Holy Spirit Himself.

Another profound revelation is that dominion also requires spiritual timing.
“To everything there is a season, a time for every purpose under heaven” (Ecclesiastes 3:1).
There is “a time to sow and a time to reap” (Ecclesiastes 3:2; Galatians 6:9).

As Christians, we must be conscious of seasons, walk in holiness, and act in obedience so that we may obtain the promises of God in due time.

The Principle of the First Fruit. One of the ways to soar in 2026

In the Kingdom, first fruit is a principle of honour and covenant. It reflects our priorities and reverence toward God. It reveals what place God truly occupies in our lives.

Many people understand first fruit only as financial giving. But the revelation of the Scriptures shows that the principle applies to every aspect of life. It is not limited to money.
It is about how we acknowledge God as first in all we do.

You operate the principle of first fruit in several ways:

• When you dedicate the early hours of your day to communing with God
• ⁠When you dedicate the first month of a new year to prayer and fasting
• When you intentionally set aside the first portion of your income or profit for God
• When you offer the first and most meaningful part of anything valuable to you to God.

We indeed had a good time in God's presence. 🙌🏽

There is a prophetic dimension to every believer who has the Holy Spirit alive and quicken in him or her.

If you must have to soar like the eagle as God's word has said to us as a church, we must understand the principles of functioning in the prophetic.

Note that there is the office of the prophet, but every believer has a dimension of grace to prophesy. When you wait on God in the place of prayer and worship and his hand comes upon you with a word, the atmosphere is stirred up for prophecy.

Don't miss any service this season as we are pulling God's hand upon us and speaking forth circumstances to shift, and for our expectations to come to manifestation this year.

Then you must make the Holy Spirit your partner. You must make the word of God your anchor and weapon. We war with the word of God in the spirit.
