One thing I noticed about Jacob in this scripture is that when he was about to die he called together his sons, and blessed them specifically.
He did this to his twelve sons.

Notice that the blessing is more prioritized than any other property or inheritance — the blessing was and is enough

Same with Jacobs Father Isaac, Jacob had known the power of the blessing and therefore with the help of the mother tricked Isaac the father to bless him Instead of Jacob

May we know and acknowledge the power of the blessing and prioritize it today

The best of self defense is not to engage,

Dodging blows is better than blocking them.

Because though you block, there is still a negative impact, and the more blows you receive, the more damage, though slowly.

The best of self defense is to dodge the blows when you see them coming.

There is nothing as worse as being a servant to a poor person.
It is one of the worse curses there is

Poverty is generally a mindset thing before it translates to the physical or material.

As a servant to a poor person
you are the poor of the poor.
It is a subtle but yet devastating situation.

You can never grow further than what is above you

A limiting bar has been set and defined by whoever your master is
and whom you serve, wether as an employee or otherwise .

So therefore choose wisely,
Do not be a slave to a poor, person institution or nation. It is a curse!
you must ask why?

If you are in such position you must get out immediately.
By decision by choice, by refusal to conform and be comfortable
