THE JOURNEY OF FAITH, BY PASTOR BLESSED EVAL
The journey of faith is a spiritual journey. In the journey of faith, you don't do eye service or blame game. You must be a striker and a scorer. In the journey of faith, we start as a group but end as individuals. We start in the spirit and end in the spirit and not in the flesh. There are a lot of things the Lord is doing without our knowledge, this is why we walk by faith and not by sight or feelings. Trust, love, obedience is required to succeed in this journey. To walk with God, make up your mind to walk alone. Avoid competition and comparison. A race is set before us, we must know it and run it with the mindset of winning. You must be determined to make it to the end because there will be a lot of pain along the way. There will be forces against your steps and your movements. In this journey, you don't see everything before moving, you move by faith in God's word. You don't start perfect, you only grow into perfection. You don't start fit, but you grow into fitness. Therefore, it requires focus and dedication.
We must learn to cast our cares on the Lord and depend on Him. When it comes to running this race, you must be personal, so that you can be aligned to God's plans for you. You need faith to succeed in this race because there are many pains. You can't come into this faith and relax, it requires a working out, commitment, consistency and progress. We need love in our heart for God and our salvation in order to make it. Our focus should be on Christ. He is the beginning and the end in this race. A man who is in this race receives new mercies everyday. The mercy, wisdom, grace, ability, understanding that the Lord has given you today is meant to solve today's issues. The mercies of God, which is the help of God is supplied according each day's challenges. There is no carry over of mercy because each day doesn't hold the same activities. Take advantage of the mercies of God for each day. HAVE A BLESSED DAY.
