UNDERSTANDING GOD.
Years ago, I gave a member a one year contribution [ajo] because she needed accommodation for her parents. I did it from my heart. Months later, her mother was hospitalized for surgery. I paid three quarter of the surgery fee. The mother never came back to say thank you. Few years later, she left the Church without a word. I was sad. I felt cheated and unappreciated but God began to deal with me.
God said, I only said you will reap WHAT you sow, not WHERE you sow.
I was relieved. I have reaped a thousand times more than I gave that beautiful lady. I'm not upset anymore. God has given me back more than what I gave her.
Never get discouraged or disappointed when people don't appreciate your efforts and labour in the Kingdom. God will give you back WHAT you sow and not WHERE you sow. Keep doing good. It's coming back in a big way. Dolapo Adelakun.
