Finding True Rest

Seriously, look at this little one! Nothing says peace like a baby napping soundly, especially when they're resting right on the Word. Isn't that the kind of quiet confidence we all want?

Life can be a lot sometimes: busy, stressful, and uncertain. But just like this sweet baby is completely surrendered and trusting, we can find that same deep, unshakable peace when we choose to rest on the promises of God.

It’s not about having all the answers or controlling every outcome; it's about trusting the One who does. If you're feeling overwhelmed today, take a moment to breathe and remember: His Word is your softest pillow and your safest blanket. Cling to the promises, and let that peace wash over you.

People will confuse God with satan and listen to the advice of the wicked.

satan's constant effort is to misrepresent God's character.
satan attributes his own characteristics to God so that the characters become confusing.

"They will put you out of the synagogues, and the time will come when anyone who kills you will think that he is doing a service to God. And so they will deal with you, because they have not known the Father or Me. ” John 16: 2-3

Christ came into this world to reveal the character of God as he is. He is a perfect representation of His Father. Jesus did not kill anyone on earth and rebuked Peter when he drew his sword to kill: "Then said Jesus unto him, Put up again thy sword into his place: for all they that take the sword shall perish with the sword." Matthew 26:52

Also, when the disciples wanted to kill by the descent of fire from heaven, Jesus rebuked them, “Jesus turned to them, rebuked them, and said to them,“ You do not know what spirit you are in.

Jesus gave His life to death rather than harm us, He loves us and came to save us. "For the Son of man is not come to kill, but to save."
Luke 9: 55-56
