A Bag with Holes
Hag.1.2 - Thus speaketh the LORD of hosts, saying, This people say, The time is not come, the time that the LORD'S house should be built.
Hag.1.3 - Then came the word of the LORD by Haggai the prophet, saying,
Hag.1.4 - Is it time for you, O ye, to dwell in your cieled houses, and this house lie waste?
Hag.1.5 - Now therefore thus saith the LORD of hosts; Consider your ways.
Hag.1.6 - Ye have sown much, and bring in little; ye eat, but ye have not enough; ye drink, but ye are not filled with drink; ye clothe you, but there is none warm; and he that earneth wages earneth wages to put it into a bag with holes.

The prophecy was explicit.
The house of God must be built.
The children of God slacks and drags
Much delays in the construction breeds much decay.
This displeases God.
There is much to do for the advancement of the Kingdom of God on the earth
Much souls to win.
Refusal to support the work of God with our resources will affect the hold of our resources.
Much income yet not much to show for it.
Today is your day.
Are you experiencing difficulties in keeping your finances.
Beyond the strict budgets and sticking to financial plans are there other unseen and unforseen circumstances that repeats itself particularly when money is in your pocket?
That you find it difficult to trace your cash flow.
You earn but cannot tell how it vanishes from your hands.
Check again,
Align with God on your finances.
All you earn is not all for you to consume.
Keep aside for the services of the house of God.
Wherever you worship be a blessing to God's work.

JEREMIAH 17:7 Blessed is the man that trusteth in the LORD, and whose hope the LORD is.
JEREMIAH 17:8 For he shall be as a tree planted by the waters, and that spreadeth out her roots by the river, and shall not see when heat cometh, but her leaf shall be green; and shall not be careful in the year of drought, neither shall cease from yielding fruit.

Have faith in God.
Nothing is too hard for Him to do.
Trust in the Lord with all your heart.
Lean not on your own understanding, for it is a product of a finite mind.
Faith in God sees the impossible
Believes the impossible and eventually accomplish the impossible.
Today is your day.
Faith never sees darkness even in the darkness.
It is the substance of things hoped for.
The evidence of things not seen.
Faith transforms the evidence into a reality.
Faith in God ensures your continuous supply even when nothing seems to be working.
Faith in God guarantees your continuous access even when the door seems closed.
Faith in God ensures your continuous survival, sustenance and fruitfulness..
We walk by faith and not by sight.
Faith comes by hearing, and hearing the word of God.
Meditate on the word, let it dwell richly in your heart.
It catalyses faith.

PSALM 89:34 My covenant will I not break, nor alter the thing that is gone out of my lips.
PSALM 89:35 Once have I sworn by my holiness that I will not lie unto David.

He is the covenant keeping God.
Sworn in His holiness not to alter His words.
His word is His bond.
Down the age all related with Him on the platform of covenant.
He is sure able to abide by His covenants.
He is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that are contained in the covenant.
Today is your day.
Through the patriarchs of faith, we see the force of His covenant at work in the life's of men.
With Abraham it was the covenant of circumcision.
With Noah, the token of the Covenant was the Rainbow, sworn eternally not to destroy the world with flood again.
With David, it was and still is the sure mercies of David.
With you and me, it is with the blood of Jesus, the mediator of the new covenant, to the blood of sprinkling that speaks better things than the blood of Abel.
It is the covenant of better things.
We are made partakers of the divine nature.
We are the peculiar people
We have been called out of darkness into His marvellous light.
We have been qualified to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light.
We have been delivered from the power of darkness and translated into the Kingdom of His dear son.
They are more.
Walk with Him in obedience and faith.
His covenant with you cannot be broken.
It will surely become a reality.
It is well with you.

GENESIS 13:8 And Abram said unto Lot, Let there be no strife, I pray thee, between me and thee, and between my herdmen and thy herdmen; for we be brethren.
GENESIS 13:9 Is not the whole land before thee? separate thyself, I pray thee, from me: if thou wilt take the left hand, then I will go to the right; or if thou depart to the right hand, then I will go to the left.
GENESIS 13:10 And Lot lifted up his eyes, and beheld all the plain of Jordan, that it was well watered every where, before the LORD destroyed S***m and Gomorrah, even as the garden of the LORD, like the land of Egypt, as thou comest unto Zoar.
GENESIS 13:11 Then Lot chose him all the plain of Jordan; and Lot journeyed east: and they separated themselves the one from the other.

The were farmers.
Majorly into the business of animal husbandry.
By divine Providence the business bloom and blossoms.
There was massive increase on all sides.
The land was not able to bear them as their substance has outgrown the capacity of the land.
This led to altercations between their staffs.
Separation as an option to end the rift was proposed by Abraham.
Lot lifted up his eyes and saw the land towards Jordan that it was well watered and made that his choice.
But it eventually turned out to be a wrong choice.
Today is your day.
Life is a summation of choices
Destiny is the aggregation of various choices made over the years.
The realities of life is beyond the realms of the visible.
To Lot, that was an excellent choice, there will be enough vegetation for his life stocks.
But it turned out, he got entangled in S***m, lost all his resources, got captured as a slave during the war of the five kings.
He was eventually rescued, escaped destruction of S***m by whiskers, lost his wife, and he became the father of two sons from his two daughters.
It was a sad end.
You will not make the wrong choice in life.
Any consequences of wrong choices may God intervene and show mercy.

JUDGES 6:11 And there came an angel of the LORD, and sat under an oak which was in Ophrah, that pertained unto Joash the Abiezrite: and his son Gideon threshed wheat by the winepress, to hide it from the Midianites.
JUDGES 6:12 And the angel of the LORD appeared unto him, and said unto him, The LORD is with thee, thou mighty man of valour.
JUDGES 6:13 And Gideon said unto him, Oh my Lord, if the LORD be with us, why then is all this befallen us? and where be all his miracles which our fathers told us of, saying, Did not the LORD bring us up from Egypt? but now the LORD hath forsaken us, and delivered us into the hands of the Midianites.
JUDGES 6:14 And the LORD looked upon him, and said, Go in this thy might, and thou shalt save Israel from the hand of the Midianites: have not I sent thee?

The nation was in distress.
All they do for sustenance and living was destroyed by their enemies.
Their enemies came like grasshoppers for multitude destroying their harvests and rendering them impoverished.
For pending death they fled their homes and hid themselves in dens, caves and strongholds.
Non could go home
Non could stand as a deliverer.
But God through His angel visited Gideon.
The name and title of a mighty man of valour did not resonate with his present condition and status.
He looked for every excuse conceivable and inconceivable to dodge the responsibility.
The choice and will of God prevailed.
Today is your day.
You are who God says that you are.
Your life is not defined by your present condition.
Your current status is not all that you can be.
Quit seeing the limitations
Rather see by faith the possibilities of God through you.
There is more ahead.
Greater you is waiting for you.
Your family lineage can be the least but you're not the least, the seed of greatness in you is emerging.
Never conclude that you cannot win, the odds against you are stepping stones to greater heights.
Gideon prevailed
You too will prevail.
Non but you can be you.
The Lord is with you.
Let this consciousness take hold of you.
For I can do all things through christ that strengthens me.
You are called, chosen blessed and empowered.

1 CORINTHIANS 15:58 Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.

The challenges of life are real and shows up in divers fashions and dimensions.
Non is immuned from the vagaries of life.
Our lots in life differs
At the junction of lack for some is the bus stop of abundance for others.
The days of pain here might be the days of gain there.
Same day, same time but different experiences.
But in all, we are admonished to be steadfast, unmoveable and always bounding in the work of the Lord.
Today is your day.
Be steadfast in your walk with God.
Be consistent in pleasing God continually.
Whether it's your day when God hath flooded your home with plenty or your days of trusting God for daily sustenance never lose sight of your walk with God and your work for the Lord.
Daily work out your salvation with fear and trembling.
Cease being hot today and cold tomorrow.
Starve your distractions and feed your focus.
Give your heart to what is committed to you.
Let the work of the Lord flourish in your hands.
Let God be seen through you.
Mirror the reality of Divinity in your space.
It might be tough now, continue in it, God is faithful, there will always be increase.
Your labours in the Lord is not in vain.
He is a faithful father and rewarder.
Your rewards will come, and speedily too.

HEBREWS 13:5 Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.
HEBREWS 13:6 So that we may boldly say, The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me.

The word of God is the sure way
The word is loaded with instructions for living,
Instructions for living that produces optimum results
Optimum results in every sphere of life.
One of such is contentment.
Being grateful for the blessings you have now.
Knowing that godliness and contentment is great gain.
But beyond that is the promises of His word for more.
He hath said, so that we may boldly say.
Our responses to life's unending challenges should be rooted in His word.
Today is your day.
Let contentment be a lifestyle.
It breeds peace and security.
But there is room for more.
And you can be more
Respond to the issues of life with the word of God.
The philosophies of men can be musical to the ears but they are not potent to effect a change from the realms of reality.
He hath said I am the Lord that heals so I can boldly say, I am healed.
He hath said I am with you always so I can boldly say, I am not confident of victory.
His presence in my life is my confidence.
He hath said goodness and mercy are my life companions so I can boldly say I am favoured and blessed beyond reproach.
This is a sure way to increase our faith to get the desired results in life.
No area of life is left out.
Dig deep into the word, speak in accordance to what He hath said.
Your confession is your possession.

HEBREWS 13:15 By him therefore let us offer the sacrifice of praise to God continually, that is, the fruit of our lips giving thanks to his name.

He alone is worthy of our praises.
He alone should be praised.
Enter into His gates with Thanksgiving
Enter into His courts with praise
Sing aloud with rejoicing
Join everything that has breath to praise the Lord.
For the Lord is good.
He inhabits the praises of His people
He is glorious in Holiness
He is fearful in praises
Today is your day
Do not relent in offering praises unto God continually
Like Jehoshaphat, when the battle seems tough, impregnable and insurmountable.
Fears, doubts and defeat were all over him and his forces.
In the midst of that, God asked them to raise singers to praise and worship the Lord of Host.
As they praise God, their adversaries were at war with one another untill they destroy themselves.
Praise confuses the adversary.
Praise releases the power of God for our victory.
Praise Him for that He has done.
Praise Him for that He is doing
Praise Him for that He will yet do.
Praise Him today
Praise Him tomorrow
Praise Him always
The earth will yeild forth her fruit unto you
Your land shall not be barren but fruitful and your harvest bountiful.

PROVERBS 18:21 Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof.

The tongue is a small member of the body.
Small yet very powerful
It directs the affairs of life.
Spoken words are powerful
Spoken words are carriers of life and death.
Strengths and weaknesses are activated from spoken words.
Speak life and have life
Speak death and you set in motion the process of death.
Be positively constructive about your words.
Today is your day.
Say what you want to see.
The reality of your life is in your tongue.
Say like Joshua and Caleb, the people are bread for us, we are well able.
They made it to the promise land.
The other ten never made it to the promise land because of the negative expressions of their tongue that breeds fear.
Say like David, who is this uncircumcised philistine that he will defy the armies of the living God.
He eventually conquered Goliath.
Your life moves in the direction of your words.
It is not the giants that counts, rather it is what you say that really matters.
Let the weak say I am strong.
Speak life to your health.
Speak life to the works of your hands.
Speak life over your family.
By your words you shall either be justified or condemned.
May God give you the wisdom and grace to speak the right words continually.

2 SAMUEL 15:31 And one told David, saying, Ahithophel is among the conspirators with Absalom. And David said, O LORD, I pray thee, turn the cou bynsel of Ahithophel into foolishness.

Domestic insurrection threatened the throne of the king.
His life was in Jeopardy.
Betrayed by his own son.
Who proclaimed himself king even while his father was still alive.
The weight of the event was heavy on his mind.
Here the loyalty of his subjects were tested.
One of such was Ahithophel, his trusted adviser and counsellor.
Known as one whose counsel is as if one enquires from the oracle of God
He quickly switched camp, and pitched his tent with Absalom.
King David prayed against his counsel.
God turned it to foolishness and he later hanged himself.
Today is your day.
The damaging character of Ahithophel still exists in our time.
Whatever counsel that is taken against you by the Ahithophel's of today, may God turned them into foolishness.
Such counsels will not stand.
Such counsels will not see the light of day.
Counsels taken against you out of jealousy, hatred, bitterness and evil intentions will not come to pass, it will not materialse.
Heaven will block it from manifesting.
The counsel of God for your life only will stand and become a reality.
