• FOUNDATION: The starting point of everything.
• SALVATION: Deliverance from sin.

SUB-THEME: THE CHARACTERISTICS OF A STRONG CHURCH FOUNDATION
TEXT: 2 Cor 7:5-8

INTRODUCTION
A strong church is one family.
John 13:35 – “By this all people will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.”
Division weakens, but unity makes the foundation unshakable.

A strong church is both a reaching church and a raising church.
Matthew 28:19-20 – “Go and make disciples...”
It wins souls and builds them to become like Christ.

A strong church upholds righteousness and raises leaders who serve, not lord over people.
1 Peter 2:5 – “You also, like living stones, are being built into a spiritual house...”
Integrity, prayer, and sacrifice keep the foundation firm.

CHARACTER TRAITS TO PUT UP IN LIFE
1. Unity
2. Obedience
3. Love
4. Humility
5. Prayers

Ref: Philippians 2:8
• A church foundation that is able to seek the face of God.
Note: A member in Christ does not look helpless when there is a problem.
Ref: Acts 12:4–5
• When there is no prayer, there is no foundation.

CHARACTERISTICS OF A CHURCH THAT NEEDS A STRONG FOUNDATION
1. Repentant
Ref: Isaiah 3
Brothers and sisters, repent from your old ways so that you can build a good foundation in Christ.
Ref: Psalm 92:12–13

WHY WE SHOULD BE UNITED
1. It brings mutual growth and strength.
2. We will be able to understand one another.
3. It brings God's glorification.
Ref: Gen 11:1-8

CONCLUSION
If there is unity, God will be glorified (Gen 11:4).
Brethren, let us come together so the church will be united.
And as you do so, God will continue to guide us in Jesus' name. 🙏🙏🙏
