Cherubim and Seraphim stand as eternal witnesses to the majesty of God. The Cherubim embody divine wisdom, guarding sacred mysteries and the holiness of God’s presence. The Seraphim burn with holy fire, lifting ceaseless worship and proclaiming, “Holy, Holy, Holy.” Together they reveal the balance of heaven: knowledge and passion, reverence and praise. They remind us that true devotion is not only understanding God, but loving Him deeply. To walk with the Cherubim is to seek wisdom; to soar with the Seraphim is to worship without restraint, living a life that honors God in thought, spirit, and action, daily always.

History of C&S

The Cherubim and Seraphim (C&S) Church is a prominent Christian denomination founded in Nigeria. The church's origins date back to the early 20th century.

The Cherubim and Seraphim Society was founded by Moses Orimolade Tunolase in 1925. Moses Orimolade, born around 1879 in Ikare, Nigeria, was known for his spiritual gifts and evangelical work. After a period of illness and spiritual experiences, he began his ministry, preaching and performing miracles, which attracted many followers.

The church combines elements of traditional African spirituality with Christianity, emphasizing healing, prophecy, and visions. Its worship style is characterized by vibrant music, dancing, and the use of symbolic items like candles and incense.

The C&S Church quickly grew and became one of the largest and most influential African-initiated churches. Over the years, it has split into various factions, but all branches share common beliefs and practices rooted in its original foundation by Orimolade.
