As Easter draws near, let's be reminded of the profound significance of this season. It’s a time of reflection, renewal, and rejoicing in the miraculous event that changed the course of history — the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ.

Amid life's challenges and uncertainties, the resurrection of Jesus offers us hope—a hope that transcends all circumstances and fills our hearts and minds with courage and strength. Just as Jesus conquered death and rose triumphantly from the grave, we are reminded that through Him as faithful believers, we have the promise of eternal salvation.

This Easter, let us reflect on the love and sacrifice of Jesus, who willingly laid down His life so we could have forgiveness and redemption. Let’s rejoice in the victory that Jesus was buried and rose again. We know His resurrection power is alive today.

Together, as we address the world’s greatest problem - lostness, we share the message of hope and salvation, bringing God's love to those who need it most. I would have shared a story of one of the fields, but i have no liberty on this platform now. You may call us to hear it for yourself.

May this Easter season fill your heart with joy, peace, and the assurance of God's presence in your life.

*Mar 19, 2024 | 3rd Pillar: Alms Giving (Zakat)*

Musl!ms give a fixed portion of their income to community members in need and towards the general welfare of the community. They believe that Zakat purifies, increases and blesses the remainder of their wealth. At its heart, Zakat is a means of purifying both one’s wealth and soul. This includes the belief that the giver of the money will receive a 100-fold back in the afterlife.

• Pray for Nigeria Musl!ms to hear about the power of the blood of Jesus to purify sin.

• Pray they come to know and believe in Him who GAVE EVERYTHING so they could be saved.

• Pray multitudes fall before the feet of the Saviour in repentance and gratitude for giving His life for them.

Ways for Muslims to encounter Christ

There are many teachings in Islam that allow for murder, enslavement, r**e, and abuse of women. Today we pray for both men and women in Nigeria to see the value of women, who are created by God as His image bearers as well.

Liberty to the Captives

Each of us who comes to Christ must repent of and renounce every pact, promise, or identity we held before faith in Christ. Join us in praying for our brothers and sisters in Christ from a Muslim background as they repent of their former identity as Muslims.

Men and women are equal before God, and one group is not superior over another: “…there is neither Jew nor Greek, slave nor free, male nor female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus” (Galatians 3:28).

Pray for Christians from a Muslim background in Nigeria to renounce every way they have believed lies that men and women are not equal before God.

Praying Scripture
“What you see was predicted long ago by the prophet Joel: ‘In the last days,’ God says, ‘I will pour out my Spirit upon all people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy. Your young men will see visions, and your old men will dream dreams. In those days I will pour out my Spirit even on my servants—men and women alike—and they will prophesy. And I will cause wonders in the heavens above and signs on the earth below…before that great and glorious day of the Lord arrives. But everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved’”(Acts 2:16-21).

God pour out your Spirit.
Lord, let young and old, rich and poor, male and female to be filled with your Spirit.
Give visions and dreams.
Create powerful encounters with You, the living God.

Pray that God would free all those following Christ – new and mature believers of Nigeria – of the spiritual bo***ge of the past.

Claiming Our Hope in Christ and His Heart for the Nations
Lord, you did it then, and you can do it now. You are the God of dreams and visions. Lord we pray in one voice that you would visit our Muslim brothers and sisters in the night through dreams. And we pray, too, that you would visit them during the day in open visions. We believe your heart is for movement breakthrough, so let your Kingdom come and your will be done here in Nigeria as in heaven.

*30 days of Prayers for Muslims to encounter Christ*

Islam teaches that Muslims are born into Islam, inheriting the religion of their parents. Christianity teaches the opposite, each person must make a personal decision to follow Christ and His teachings. Today we pray into this issue and ask for God to give grace to Muslims in Nigeria to question this teaching that they inherited their religion from their parents.

*Liberty to the Captives*

We are called to live in freedom. “[Jesus said:] Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free” (John 8:32).

Pray for Christians from a Muslim background in Nigeria to root themselves in the freedom they have in Christ.

*Praying Scripture*
“Yes, even today when they read Moses’ writings, their hearts are covered with a veil, and they do not understand” (2 Cor 3:15).

Lord, remove the veil. Remove the blinders that keep Muslims from seeing the truth of Christ. May the gospel liberate people from blindness. May the principalities and powers and spiritual forces of evil in Nigeria (Eph 6) be shut down, silenced, broken, rendered impotent. Jesus, your cross conquered the powers: the powers of death, Satan, and his kingdom. You have won the victory. And now, Lord, we call on your presence and power, your angels and ministers, to move in the spiritual realm in Nigeria. As Daniel prayed and angels were dispatched and fought wars in the heavenly places, we believe your angels are on the move in Nigeria, and we expect spiritual breakthrough this month of Ramadan.

Pray that God would protect Christians in Nigeria from distractions and false teachings.

Lord Jesus, your words are life. May we say ‘yes’ to life-giving connection to God, which comes as we obey, as we practice, as we put into action our faith.

Lord, allow believers in Nigeria to reject passive, consumerist tendencies in their faith. Instead, empower them to be a priesthood of believers, a holy nation, called for a purpose, commissioned by God to render into the world the rule and reign of Christ. Let them shine the goodness of Christ’s light into the shadow and chaos of this present darkness.

RAMADAN GROANING 2024.

NUPE MISSIONS will be holding its 30 Days of Prayer and Fasting for the advancement of Christ's Kingdom among the Muslims nations and is pleased to invite you to come and join hands with us in daily prayer and fasting, trusting God for greater advancements in the Disciple Making.

The team will be praying daily in various locations where we live and work.

Don't stay out.
Even if you are unable to fast, participate in the prayer sessions according to the schedules below.

5am to 6:30am daily
1:40pm to 2:40pm daily
5:30pm to 7:00pm

There will be chain night prayers between 12:00am to 3:00am daily.
