In Christ alone my hope is found.

I will say of the Lord he is my refuge and my fortress my God in him will I trust. Psalm 91: 2 . The psalmist declares that God is his ultimate protector, a very present help in times of trouble. We must always have a total trust in God as the only one who can protect and keep us in this troubled world. God presence is easily felt when we do not hope on anyone or anything else but on him alone. Our riches, influence and all earthly possessions cannot save us, only Jesus can save. Trust in him for your protection

Serving God is like being a participant in a debate. You are either for or against the motion. You are either for God or against him. There is no sitting on the fence when it comes to spiritual issues. What part of the divide are you ?

The Difference (No Time to Pray)

I got up early one morning and rushed right into the day;
I had so much to accomplish, I didn't have time to pray.

Problems just tumbled about me and I grew heavier with each task;
Why doesn't God help me, I wondered; He answered, "You didn't ask."

I wanted to see joy and beauty, but the day toiled on, gray and bleak;
I wondered why God didn't show me - He said, "But you didn't seek."

I tried to come into God's presence; I used all my keys at the lock;
God gently and lovingly chided, "My child, you didn't knock."

I woke up early this morning and paused before entering the day;
I had so much to accomplish that I had to take time to pray.

DAILY RHEMA: But the fruit of the Spirit is love, JOY, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith... Gal. 5:22. Isn't it amazing that Joy is a fruit of the spirit(and to us Christians).

When Apostle Paul was writing about the fruit of the spirit, I believe he arranged them according to their "other of importance" (please note; All are important and needful). Also, Dr. Luke who was accredited to be the author of the book of Acts, when writing Acts 13:52 by the Holy ghost inspiration said "And the disciples were FILLED WITH JOY, and WITH THE HOLY GHOST."

This shows us that there is really something remarkable about Joy, although it is a fruit of the Holy spirit, but Luke separated it from the Holy spirit when writing. He would have said "and they were filled with the Holy ghost " without adding Joy to it, since we all know Joy is a fruit of the spirit. But he wanted to place more emphasis on their mood even in times of persecution. If he hadn't written it that way, we would have thought that He is referring to something else because being filled of the spirit entails so many things eg. being filled with wisdom, knowledge, compassion etc. It is just like saying ' been filled with Love and the Holy spirit' of course we know that Love is a fruit of the spirit.

Apostle Paul went further to say in Romans 14:17 For the kingdom of God is not meat and drink; but righteousness, and peace, and JOY in the Holy Ghost.

Wahoo! THE KINGDOM OF GOD IS JOY(and not sorrow) IN THE HOLY GHOST. Everything about the kingdom is with joy, even in persecutions, trials, temptations, Jesus said count it all joy when you face persecutions matt 5:12, James said count it all joy when you are faced with diverse temptations James 1:2. The reason why those disciples were filled with joy is because that is what the kingdom of God entails.

BE FILLED WITH JOY IN THE HOLY GHOST. Share God's word and be a blessing to lives.

DAILY RHEMA: Psalms 51:11 Cast me not away from thy presence; and take not thy holy spirit from me. Restore unto me the JOY OF YOUR SALVATION
; and uphold me with thy free spirit.

It is amazing how David got to understand this great mysteries. The joy of salvation is the first kind and one of the greatest of all joy, as it serves as a foundation for all others. It is the joy that is rubbed on us by the Holy ghost when we come to the cross of Christ (salvation) which gives us an evidence of salvation.

The joy of salvation is an evidence of genuine salvation. When you begin to lose this joy, it is a sign of dying spiritually (backsliding). That is one of the greatest target of the devil on Christians today. The joy of salvation is suppose to be constant in the lives of believers as it is an evidence of our living with Christ in God.

I have come to discover the reason why many Christians today find church meetings boring to them, it is because they have lost the joy of salvation. Christianity will become so boring without the joy of salvation, because this joy gives you a reason for fellowship and having relationship with God. David realized that he was nothing without this joy, that was why he cried out for restoration.

Please let's examine our lives today if this joy is still present, if not let us cry out to Heaven like David did for restoration. It is what propels us for fellowshipping with both man and God. Stay connected and be a blessing to lives by sharing God's word.

DAILY RHEMA: The second characteristic of the wind is its INTENSITY. This means the degree of strength, or power of the wind.

The wind has such a wonderful force, that can pull down anything, depending on its intensity ("The difference in intensity of wind" show that there are different realms and dimensions of the spirit a person can move in). Living in God makes a man have a supernatural strength to move.

How can you walk when you don't know the way of the Spirit? How can you run without the spirit's energizing? Or how can you fly without the force of the spirit? Movement includes walking, running, flying, swimming etc. As Christian we do not possess our own strength, but we completely rely on the force and strength of the spirit to drive us, the energizing of the Holy ghost. WE DON'T MOVE THE SPIRIT, THE SPIRIT MOVES US.

1 Kings 18:45- 46 "And it came to pass in the mean while, that the heaven was black with clouds and wind, and there was a great rain. And Ahab rode, and went to Jezreel. And the HAND OF THE LORD(Hand of the Spirit) was on Elijah; and he girded up his loins, and RAN BEFORE Ahab to the entrance of Jezreel." This is what I call the transportation of the spirit, just like a wind. A man on bear foot outran a man riding on a chariot with horses, this cannot be ordinary there was a supernatural force/strength that energized and transported Him. As Christians we must rely on the Hand of God to carry us. I chose to be like the wind born of the spirit(Holy ghost). I don't know about you.

Stay connected. share God's word and be a blessing to lives.
