Consecration is not merely avoiding wrong behavior; it is becoming fully governed by a higher life. It is a gradual surrender where appetite, thoughts, and decisions begin to come under divine influence.
In that state, prayer is no longer forced. It becomes a natural expression of a transformed life. Sensitivity increases. Discernment grows. Desires begin to align with higher purposes.
However, this journey does not lead to mechanical perfection. Spiritual growth is not about becoming flawless like a machine. Even in deep transformation, mistakes can still occur. Growth is not defined by absence of error, but by direction of change.
The evidence of real transformation is not perfection, but progress. A life that is no longer the same, even if still in process. Over time, something deeper happens: the inner life becomes saturated. Thoughts begin to align differently. Desires become refined. Decisions begin to reflect a higher influence.
Saturation is the goal. A life filled and governed by God from within. At that level, even in silence, something is happening internally. Insight flows more easily. Spiritual awareness becomes clearer. Understanding deepens without strain.
