Choosing The Living Water

📖 Luke 16:19-31

Earthly comfort and attachment to the temporary can blind us to God's eternal purpose and the life-saving urgency of receiving Jesus, the Living Water, before the door of opportunity closes.
"Don't lose sight of the future God has for you because you want to be comfortable right now.Detach yourself from things that blind you from seeing His mysteries and hearing His Voice".

Luke 16:22: And it happened that the beggar died and was carried by the angels into Abraham's bosom. The rich one also died and was buried.
Luk 16:23: And in hell he lifted up his eyes, being in torments, and saw Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom.
Luk 16:24: And he cried and said, Father Abraham, have mercy on me and send Lazarus so that he may dip the tip of his finger in water and cool my tongue, for I am tormented in this flame. Luk 16:25: But Abraham said, Son, remember that you in your lifetime received your good things, and likewise Lazarus evil things. But now he is comforted and you are tormented.

This is part of the Parable of the rich man and the beggar, Lazarus.
The reason I have put this up is because, here the rich man is in hell and once there has realised that salvation was at his fingertips. And I see this in him asking Lazarus to just dip his finger in water and touch his tongue. When the rich man was on the earth he could have had all the water he wanted but passed it by.
Now just one small drop would be more than enough, but again it is too late, as that one drop could have saved his life.

IT WOULD HAVE SAVED HIS ETERNAL LIFE, as that WATER IS SAVIOUR (JESUS) THE LIVING WATER.

In hell there is no water, and in particular no LIVING WATER, NO SAVIOUR (JESUS), NO SALVATION. - Acts.12:4; Romans. 10:8,9.

"Make right choices now so you don't have to look back and wish you had made different ones"

The Apostasy We Must Reject.

📖 Jude 1:3-4

A prominent apostasy is one that we all readily accept.

The most common apostasy is that we are more than what we are. As soon as we die, we immediately ascend to Heaven, or descend to "Hell" depending upon how we lived our lives while on earth.

This is so far from the truth. If we are immortal beings already then maybe this theology can be advocated, and therefore John 3:16 and Romans 6:23 becomes superfluous (redundant).

How can we say that we have immortal souls when embedded John 3:16 and Romans 6:23 is the promise that all men want-eternal life?

Immortality and eternal life is one in the same. We cannot say that we believe that we have an immortal soul already, and still say that we believe in the resurrection of the body.

Beloved, you cannot see that these two theologies are mutually exclusive (i.e., if you accept one, then you must reject the other).

God saw it too.

The tears you held back, the effort no one noticed,
the pain you kept, the strength it took to keep going,

He saw all of it.

Even when no one else clapped, cared, or understood,

He did.

And in His time,
He will honor the battles you fought in silence.

WHEN YOU ARE 40 YEARS OLD OR ABOVE
Here are things to check out for:
A. Two things to check as often as you can:

(1) Your blood pressure
(2) Your blood sugar.

B. Six things to reduce to the minimum on your foods:

(1) Salt
(2) sugar
(3) preserved meat and foods
(4) red meat especially roasted
(5) diary products
(6) starchy products

C. Four things to increase in your foods:

(1) Greens/vegetables
(2) beans
(3) fruits
(4) nuts

D. Three things you need to forget:

(1) Your age
(2) your past
(3) your grievances

E. Four things you must have, no matter how weak or how strong you are:

(1) Friends who truly love you
(2) caring family
(3) positive thoughts
(4) a warm home.

F. Four things you need to do to stay healthy:

(1) fasting
(2) smiling / laughing
(3) trek / exercise
(4) reduce your weight.

G. Six things you don't have to do:

(1) Don't wait till you are hungry to eat
(2) don't wait till you are thirsty to drink
(3) don't wait till you are sleepy to sleep
(4) don't wait till you feel tired to rest
(5) don't wait till you get sick to go for health check-ups otherwise you will only regret later in life.
(6) don’t wait till you have problem before you pray to your God.
