Topic:
Choose To Be A Living Sacrifice.

Romans 12:1
I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service.

The choice to present your body to God a living sacrifice that is holy and acceptable is yours to make daily.

Deuteronomy 30:19
I call heaven and earth as witnesses today against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing; therefore choose life, that both you and your descendants may live.

The choice to present your body a living sacrifice that is holy and acceptable to God is meant to be made based on the reality of life that you have in union with Christ.

Isaiah 5:1-4
Now let me sing to my Well-beloved A song of my Beloved regarding His vineyard: My Well-beloved has a vineyard On a very fruitful hill. He dug it up and cleared out its stones, And planted it with the choicest vine. He built a tower in its midst, And also made a winepress in it; So He expected it to bring forth good grapes, But it brought forth wild grapes. “And now, O inhabitants of Jerusalem and men of Judah, Judge, please, between Me and My vineyard. What more could have been done to My vineyard That I have not done in it? Why then, when I expected it to bring forth good grapes, Did it bring forth wild grapes?

There is nothing the Lord God is meant to do in you and for you, to enable you present your body to Him a living sacrifice, that He hasn't done.

You have no reasons whatsoever to not be a living sacrifice that is holy and acceptable to God.

No excuse can justify your failure to present your body a living sacrifice that is holy and acceptable to God.

Hosea 4:6
My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge. Because you have rejected knowledge, I also will reject you from being priest for Me; Because you have forgotten the law of your God, I also will forget your children.

If anything is stopping you from presenting your body a living sacrifice, that is holy and acceptable to God, it is your lack of knowledge of what the Lord Jesus Christ has done in you and for you.

Choosing to not take to heart the things the Lord Jesus Christ has done in you and for you, through His death, burial and resurrection, will render you incapable of walking in the light of the victory He secured for you.

To take for granted or reject the knowledge of the redemptive sacrifice of Christ is to set yourself up to think, speak and act contrary to the life that is at work in you in Christ.

Psalms 36:9
For with You is the fountain of life; In Your light we see light.

The secret of intentionally and consistently presenting your body a living sacrifice that is holy and acceptable to God is to see yourself, and all you do, in the light of what the Lord Jesus Christ has done in you and for you.

The measure of the knowledge of what Christ has done you possess, and the deliberate commitment you put into walking in it by faith, determines how well you will present your body a living sacrifice to God.

You owe it to yourself to fill your heart with the knowledge of what Christ has done in you and for you.

See the possession of the revelation knowledge of what Christ has done in you and for you as the light that will liberate and empower you to be a living sacrifice that is holy and acceptable to God.

Embrace the wisdom choice to be a living sacrifice that is holy and acceptable to God, daily.

Be intentional and consistent at being a living sacrifice that is holy and acceptable to the Lord God.

Refuse to think, speak and act like someone that is ignorant of what Christ has done in you and for you.

Let the reality of the fact that God, through the redemptive sacrifice of the Lord Jesus Christ, has empowered you to be a living sacrifice reflect in all you think, say and do.

Choose to be a living sacrifice that is holy and acceptable to God, in thought, word and conduct, today and always.

Meditate On This:
Deuteronomy 30:19

4. Choose to be a living sacrifice that is holy and acceptable to God in every situation.

Faith Confession:
I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. I am created by God in true righteousness and holiness. I am empowered by grace to be a living sacrifice that is holy and acceptable to my God. I think, speak and act daily in the light of the redemptive work Christ has done in me and for me, always. Amen. Hallelujah!

Prayer Points:
1. Heavenly Father, thank you for creating me in true righteousness and holiness. Lord, thank you for opening my eyes to walk daily in the light of the reality of life that I have in union with Christ.
2. Heavenly Father, empower me by your Spirit to present my body a living sacrifice that is holy and acceptable to you daily, in Jesus name.
3. Pray in the Spirit.

Believe.

John 14:1
Let not your heart be troubled; you believe in God, believe also in Me.

Faith in the Lord Jesus Christ is divine security and insurance that guarantees the believer a sure today and a better tomorrow.

Psalms 91:1
He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High Shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.

Faith in the Lord Jesus Christ and confidence in His finished work determines the fate of those who are in union with Him.

To believe in the Lord Jesus Christ is to totally base your life and expectations on Him and His finished work.

Faith in the Lord Jesus Christ makes the reality and power of the life He established through His redemptive sacrifice the only thing that matters to you.

Galatians 5:6
For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor uncircumcision avails anything, but faith working through love.

The troubled heart is a product of believing what the eyes see, the ears hear, and how the flesh feels.

The troubled heart is a product of being carnally minded.

Romans 8:6
For to be carnally minded is death, but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.

A troubled heart is what you get from choosing to walk by sight rather than walk by faith.

A troubled heart will render you incapable of putting your faith to work to convert the grace of God to your personal testimony of victorious living.

Psalms 112:5-7
A good man deals graciously and lends; He will guide his affairs with discretion. Surely he will never be shaken; The righteous will be in everlasting remembrance. He will not be afraid of evil tidings; His heart is steadfast, trusting in the Lord.

A heart that is secured by the assurance of faith in the Lord Jesus Christ and His finished work can never he weighed down by the troubles of life.

Look away from the negative things happening around you; look to the Lord Jesus.

Set your heart and mind on the Lord Jesus Christ and all that He has done in you and for you.

Be driven by the knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ; count on the power of His finished work to excel in righteousness and prosper, as your heavenly Father has ordained.

Focus your heart and mind on being true to who you are in Christ.

Set your heart and mind on making manifest the glory Christ has bestowed on you, through His finished work, today and always.

Meditate On This:
Psalms 112:5-8

He will not be afraid of evil tidings; his heart is steadfast, trusting in the Lord. His heart is established; he will not be afraid, until he sees his desire upon his enemies.

Action Points:
1. Study the Scriptures and meditate on it daily to fill your heart and mind with the knowledge of Christ and all He has done in you and for you.
2. Let your thoughts, words and actions be born of the reality of life you have in union with Christ.
3. Make the life you have in union with Christ the subject and driving force of your prayer life.
4. Master the faith act of praying always in the Spirit.

Faith Confession:
I have faith in the Lord Jesus Christ and absolute confidence in His finished work. My thoughts, words and actions are driven by my faith in the Lord Jesus Christ and the power inherent in His finished work. I have chosen to keep looking to the Lord Jesus Christ and His redemptive sacrifice to be and to do all that my heavenly Father has called me to be and do through faith in Him. I refuse to be troubled by the things I see and hear and feel. I choose to be strong in the Lord Jesus Christ and the power of His finished work. Amen. Hallelujah.

Prayer Points:
1. Heavenly Father, thank you for getting me saved and bringing me into the reality of life that is in your Son, Jesus Christ. Lord, thank you, because my heart is fixed on trusting you and all you have done in me and for me.
2. Heavenly Father, fill me with the Spirit of wisdom and understanding in the knowledge of Christ and all He has done in me and for me.

You Have What It Takes.

Ephesians 4:24
And that you put on the new man which was created according to God, in true righteousness and holiness.

Having been created by God, in true righteousness and holiness, you have what it takes to present your body, a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service.

Philippians 4:13
I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.

You have been enabled by God to live a holy and righteous life. You have what it takes to be truly holy and righteous.

The call of God on your life to be holy and righteous isn't a call to do the impossible. It isn't a call to do what you lack the ability to do.

As a new creature in Christ you have an innate ability to live and do according to God's good will.

Philippians 2:12-13
Therefore, my beloved, as you have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling; for it is God who works in you both to will and to do for His good pleasure.

God is at work in you. He is supplying the strength you need to live and do as He has willed.

God is at work in you, empowering you daily to measure up to His expectations concerning you.

Romans 6:12-14
Therefore do not let sin reign in your mortal body, that you should obey it in its lusts And do not present your members as instruments of unrighteousness to sin, but present yourselves to God as being alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness to God. For sin shall not have dominion over you, for you are not under law but under grace.

You are not powerless; you are powerful. You have what it takes to overcome habitual sinful living.

You have what it takes to break free from every addiction the enemy is using to steal your joy.

You are born of God; you have the victory. You are more than conquerors. You can do all things.

I John 5:4-5
For whatever is born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world—our faith. Who is he who overcomes the world, but he who believes that Jesus is the Son of God?

The possibility that you will walk daily in victory over habitual sinful living is a function of recognizing what God has done in you and for you, through the redemptive sacrifice of the Lord Jesus Christ.

Recognize the fact that you are born of God.

Recognize the fact that you were created by God in true righteousness and holiness.

Recognize the fact that God has delivered you from the power of darkness.

Recognize the fact that God has conveyed you into the kingdom of the Son of His love.

Recognize the fact that God is daily at work in you by His Spirit; strengthening you to live and do according to His good will.

Philemon 1:4-6
I thank my God, making mention of thee always in my prayers, hearing of thy love and faith, which thou hast toward the Lord Jesus, and toward all saints; that the communication of thy faith may become effectual by the acknowledging of every good thing which is in you in Christ Jesus.

Be conscious of the fact that sin has lost its hold over you.

Be intentional in living daily and doing all things as one who has the victory over habitual sinful living.

Embrace the wisdom of living as one who has been created in true righteousness and holiness by God.

Refuse to live less than the innate ability God has bestowed on you in Christ.

Live in resistance to every attempt of the enemy to make you think, speak and act contrary to the life and power of God that is at work in you.

Meditate On This:
I John 3:9
Whoever has been born of God does not sin, for His seed remains in him; and he cannot sin, because he has been born of God.

Action Points:
1. Walk daily in the understanding that you have the victory because you are born of God.
2. Be conscious of the fact that God is at work in you; enabling you to live and do according to His good will.
3. Be intentional and consistent at exercising your faith in the light of the fact that grace of God is available to you to live a righteous and holy life.
4. Embrace the wisdom of thinking, speaking and conducting yourself as a new creature in Christ, who is daily strengthened by the Spirit to do all things to the glory of God.

Faith Confession:
I am born of God. I have overcome the world. I am more than conquerors. I am victorious. God is at work in me, empowering me to live and do all things according to His good will. I am truly righteous and holy. Sin has lost its hold on me. I can live and do as God has willed, because I am daily strengthened by the Holy Spirit. Amen. Hallelujah.

Prayer Points:
1. Heavenly Father, thank you for the gift of eternal life. Lord, thank you for empowing me to live and do all things in victory.
2. Heavenly Father, open the eyes of my understanding, that I may intentionally and consistently walk in the light of the fact that you are at work in me.

Acceptable Worship.

Romans 12:1
I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service.

It is your responsibility of faith to see to it that you worship God in a way that is acceptable to Him.

Ecclesiastes 5:1
Walk prudently when you go to the house of God; and draw near to hear rather than to give the sacrifice of fools, for they do not know that they do evil.

What makes worship acceptable to God is the extent to which it is done according to the reality Christ has brought to light, through the gospel.

II Timothy 1:8-10
Therefore do not be ashamed of the testimony of our Lord, nor of me His prisoner, but share with me in the sufferings for the gospel according to the power of God, who has saved us and called us with a holy calling, not according to our works, but according to His own purpose and grace which was given to us in Christ Jesus before time began, but has now been revealed by the appearing of our Savior Jesus Christ, who has abolished death and brought life and immortality to light through the gospel.

It is as you walk daily and serve God's purpose, in the light of the reality of the life and immortality Christ has brought to light, that the Lord God Almighty will accept you and bless your works.

The measure to which you intentionally and consistently walk in the light of what Christ has done, in all your dealings with God, is the measure to which He will find your worship acceptable.

John 14:6
Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.

The Lord Jesus Christ is the way to access and explore the Father's heart.

The Lord Jesus Christ is the truth that keeps the Father's heart open to you.

The Lord Jesus Christ is the life you need to connect and stay connected to the Father.

To walk and serve God's purpose outside of absolute faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, and confidence in His finished work, is an effort in futility.

Ephesians 4:17-24
This I say, therefore, and testify in the Lord, that you should no longer walk as the rest of the Gentiles walk, in the futility of their mind, having their understanding darkened, being alienated from the life of God, because of the ignorance that is in them, because of the blindness of their heart; who, being past feeling, have given themselves over to lewdness, to work all uncleanness with greediness. But you have not so learned Christ, if indeed you have heard Him and have been taught by Him, as the truth is in Jesus: that you put off, concerning your former conduct, the old man which grows corrupt according to the deceitful lusts, and be renewed in the spirit of your mind, and that you put on the new man which was created according to God, in true righteousness and holiness.

It is a fatal mistake to have dealings with God with a mind that is unrenewed with the truth that is in Jesus.

An unrenewed mind is only capable of relating with carnal things. It can only handle physical realities. It can only deal in the realm of the physical senses.

It is practically impossible for you to walk with God and serve His purpose, in a way that is acceptable to Him, with an unrenewed mind.

Romans 8:5-8
For those who live according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who live according to the Spirit, the things of the Spirit. For to be carnally minded is death, but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. Because the carnal mind is enmity against God; for it is not subject to the law of God, nor indeed can be. So then, those who are in the flesh cannot please God.

You must be renewed in the spirit of your mind for your worship to be acceptable to God.

You must be spiritually minded for your worship to be acceptable to God.

You must be spiritually minded to serve the purpose of God, in a way He will find acceptable.

John 4:23-24
But the hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth; for the Father is seeking such to worship Him. God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth.

Seeing that it takes being rooted and built up in the truth that is in Jesus for your worship to be acceptable to God, you owe it to yourself to embrace the diligence of walking daily and serving God's purpose in the light of the reality of the life you have in union with Christ.

See to it that your mind is daily renewed with the knowledge of the life and immortality the Lord Jesus Christ has brought to light, through the gospel.

See all things and do all things in the light of what the Lord Jesus Christ has done in you and for you.

Be spiritually minded. Think, speak and conduct yourself in the light of the fact that you are in union with Christ.

Embrace the diligence of studying the Scriptures and meditating on it daily.

Embrace the wisdom of praying always in unknown tongues.

Be careful to walk daily and serve God's purpose in the light of the truth that is in Jesus, today and always.

Meditate On This:
John 4:23-24
But the hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth; for the Father is seeking such to worship Him. God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth.

Action Points:
1. Be careful to make your daily walk and dealings with God a function of the life and immortality the Lord Jesus Christ has brought to light, through the gospel.
2. Think, speak and conduct yourself as that person in whom Christ has done all He has done and for whom Christ has done all He has done.
3. Relate with God and serve His purpose in the light of the reality of being in union with Christ.

Faith Confession:
I have the life of Christ in me. The Spirit of Christ is at work in me. I am one spirit with the Lord Jesus Christ. My mind is daily renewed with the truth that is in Christ Jesus. I walk daily and serve God's purpose according to the truth that is in Jesus. Amen. Hallelujah!

Prayer Points:
1. Heavenly Father, thank you for saving me. Lord, thank you for the life I have in union with your Son, Jesus Christ.
2. Heavenly Father, open the eyes of my understanding, so I may walk daily and serve your purpose in the light of the truth that is in Christ Jesus, the Lord.

Be Intentional And Consistent At Doing The Needful.

Matthew 11:12
And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffers violence, and the violent take it by force.

Being intentional in the pursuit of the fulfillment of the will of God is a force of faith that makes things happen for believers in Christ Jesus.

Luke 16:16
The law and the prophets were until John. Since that time the kingdom of God has been preached, and everyone is pressing into it.

To be intentional in the pursuit of the fulfillment of the will of God is to be deliberate in doing what God has ordained, for His will to be done in your life.

The possibility that you will have and enjoy the good things Christ purchased for you with His blood is a function of being intentional and consistent at doing the needful.

It is not enough to have great plans, dreams and vision for your life; you must embrace the wisdom of doing what it takes to actualize them.

James 2:18
But someone will say, “You have faith, and I have works.” Show me your faith without your works, and I will show you my faith by my works.

You must intentionally and consistently match your hunger for prosperity, sound health, long life and every good thing Christ has purchased for you with His blood with doing what the word says.

You must learn and master the faith act of thinking, speaking and acting like someone who wants what the Lord Jesus Christ has made yours, through His redemptive sacrifice.

Learn to go all out for the desires of your heart. Do not be laid back. Be forceful.

Stop thinking, speaking and acting like you are not interested in enjoying the things the Lord Jesus Christ has secured for you with His blood.

James 1:22-25
But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves. For if anyone is a hearer of the word and not a doer, he is like a man observing his natural face in a mirror; for he observes himself, goes away, and immediately forgets what kind of man he was. But he who looks into the perfect law of liberty and continues in it, and is not a forgetful hearer but a doer of the work, this one will be blessed in what he does.

Give like someone who wants to receive.

Serve like someone who wants to be rewarded.

Follow the Lord like someone who desires to spend eternity in His presence.

Do all you do with the whole of your heart to get your desired result.

Be deliberate in your commitment to manifest as someone on whom your heavenly Father has bestowed the blessing.

Be intentional and consistent at doing the needful in the pursuit of the fulfillment of the will of God for you in Christ Jesus, today and always.

Meditate On This:
James 2:18
But someone will say, “You have faith, and I have works.” Show me your faith without your works, and I will show you my faith by my works.

Action Points:
1. Be clear about your goals, dreams and vision.
2. Know what you want, know how to get it and do what it takes to get it.
3. Think thoughts, speak words and act in ways that will make for your goals, dreams and vision to come to pass.
4. Commit to living by the word and the leading of the Holy Spirit.

Faith Confession:
I am an intentional and consistent doer of the word. I think deliberately, speak deliberately and act deliberately in alignment with the word to bring my desires to pass. Amen. Hallelujah!

Prayer Points:
1. Heavenly Father, thank you for every goal, dream and vision you have planted in my heart, through your word and your Spirit. Lord, thank you for bringing me to the light of being deliberate in doing the needful to them to pass.
2. Heavenly Father, open the eyes of my understanding to the wisdom I must intentionally and consistently apply in order to bring my dreams, goals and vision to pass, in Jesus name.
3. Pray aggressively in unknown tongues.

The Glory Of Living A Life That Is Consecrated Unto The Lord.

II Corinthians 6:17
Therefore “Come out from among them And be separate, says the Lord. Do not touch what is unclean, And I will receive you.”

The possibility that the Lord God will receive you is a function of your consecration unto Him.

James 4:8
Draw near to God and He will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded.

The essence of being born again is so you may live a life that is consecrated to the Lord.

To be consecrated to the Lord God is to be separated unto the Lord and His purpose.

To be consecrated to the Lord God is to intentionally disconnect yourself from the things of the world.

To be consecrated is to flee from the lust of the eyes, lust of the flesh and pride of life.

To be consecrated to the Lord God is to love the Lord and commit to serve His purpose without compromise.

James 4:4-5
Adulterers and adulteresses! Do you not know that friendship with the world is enmity with God? Whoever therefore wants to be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy of God. Or do you think that the Scripture says in vain, “The Spirit who dwells in us yearns jealously”?

The Lord God got you saved so you may worship Him in spirit and truth. He didn't save you for you; He saved you for Himself.

Isaiah 43:21
This people I have formed for Myself; They shall declare My praise.

Having saved you to enable you worship Him in spirit and truth, the Lord God is jealous over you. He wants you for Himself and for Himself alone.

The Lord God did not create you in Christ Jesus to share you.

Isaiah 42:8
I am the Lord, that is My name; And My glory I will not give to another, Nor My praise to carved images.

You are the glory the Lord God will not give to another. You are the glory the Lord can never share with graven images.

It is because the Lord God is jealous over you, and will not share you with graven images, that He has called you to free yourself from the hold of worldliness, and be separated to Him.

Your being born again will only count to the measure to which you embrace the wisdom of being separate to the Lord, and the measure to which you live a life of consecration.

II Corinthians 6:1
We then, as workers together with Him also plead with you not to receive the grace of God in vain.

You owe it to yourself to make your being born again count by living a life that is totally separated unto the Lord God and His purpose.

See to it that you embrace holiness as your lifestyle.

See to it that you are intentionally righteous; practice righteousness. Be righteous.

Have nothing to do with idol worship.

Love the Lord with all of your heart.

Love the things of the Spirit.

Flee from the lust of the eyes, lust of the flesh and pride of life.

Do not love the world; do not love the things of the world.

Be fully devoted to the Lord; serve the Lord in righteousness and true holiness.

Meditate On This:
James 4:4-5
Adulterers and adulteresses! Do you not know that friendship with the world is enmity with God? Whoever therefore wants to be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy of God. Or do you think that the Scripture says in vain, “The Spirit who dwells in us yearns jealously”?

1. Walk daily in the understanding that you are called by the Lord God to live a life that is fully separated and devoted to Him alone.
2. Practice holiness. Be intentionally righteous.
3. Avoid worldliness like a plague.
