HEALTH TALK was taken by Dcns Mrs Bumi Oludiran on the Topic- Arthritis.
This is a condition that affects the joints which comes with cramps,pains and discomfort. Arthritis can be hereditary or caused due to what we take in.
CAUSES/WAYOUT
1.Over Weight
2. Too much carbohydrate
3. Exercise (jogging,bicycle riding)
4. Do not bend but squat when sweeping( for women 45 and above)
3. Maintain a good Body Weight
4. Watch your diet.

Topic 2: CANCER
Breast cancer and cervical cancer are common with females.
CAUSES/PREVENTION
Too much alcohol pre-disposes one to cancer
Avoid too much cholesterol food
Avoid smoking
Be physically active
Hormonal drugs should be limited
Avoid too much exposure to Radiation
TOPIC 3: DIABETES
Diabetes is the increase of sugar in the blood.
CAUSES/WAYOUT
1. Too much carbohydrate
2. Hereditary
3. Obesity
4. Be fit
5. Eat healthy
In all this God is our Physician and He has said in HIS word none of this will befall us.

Praise the Lord, it's ongoing,Women in Ministry International Faith Conference 2016. Our first speaker Mrs P Ohain talked about : Appropriating Faith to your Work and Calling to Excel. She defined what Work is - the use of bodily or mental power to make or do something which reward is money and Faith- which is Reliance or Trust in what God says. She says your work is the seed which God has given to us , that's expected to bring forth other seed.
HOW TO EXCEL:
1. Follow Divine Instruction
2. Originality
3. Total Faith and Reliance.

Goodmorning,you are welcome to the continuation of yesterday's topic Living with a Vision.
1. Physical Vision: This is what a person sees with the physical eyes. In Habakuk 2:2, God told prophet Habakuk to "write the Vision and make it plain upon tables,that he may run that readeth it". What this mean is, who ever reads it, may run to proclaim what he has read.
2. Mental Vision: This is having the knowledge of your vision or dreams in life which leads to wisdom. Proverb 4:7 says that "wisdom is the principal thing,which is the correct application of knowledge
3. Spiritual Vision: This is what you see with the inward eyes of the mind. It is what gives you spiritual success in life because it exposes you to deeper truths in the word of God. When you have a close relationship with God he expands your vision.
What then does it mean to live with a vision as a Christian woman?
It means to live a purposeful life,a meaningful life,a consecrated life to God,serving the almighty God in obedience. The Bible says we are the salt of the earth and the light of the world,we should let our light shine for the world to see. We are the epistle that men read,so we should live a pure life,devout our time in prayer,fasting,studying and meditating on the word of God. Most importantly we should work in FAITH, trust in God that His promises for our life will come to pass. Also we should be filled with the Holy Spirit,who will guide us in all good works. We should live a life of humility and fear of God.

Today we would be looking at :
LIVING WITH A VISION
Vision is the ability to think about or plan for the future with great ideas. A vision can be your Dreams or a Revelation. Vision tells one where he/she wants to be or get to in life.
As a Christian Woman what is your vision in life? Our text which is taken from Phil 3:12-13 and Prov 29:18 talks about "Living with a Vision". As a Christian woman at the point we accepted Jesus Christ, our vision automatically changed. We no longer live the old life, we become new women in Christ.
A woman of vision sees what God has planned for her before its fufillment. Vision is the energy for progress which determines ones life and conditions for the way we live our life's.
There are 3 categories of vision.
1. Physical vision
2. Mental vision
3. Spiritual vision
