The Liturgy of the Hours or Divine Office forms the official set of prayers of the Church. It was reserved to the Clerics in the past. However, the Second Vatican Council reviewed that practice and made it possible for all the faithful to join their voices, marking the hours of each day and sanctifying the day with prayers.

Greetings to you in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. When the storm was intense in the Gospel of Matthew 14:27, Jesus Proclaimed! "Courage, do not be afraid". It is obvious that the whole world is held standstill currently. However, we need to be courageous that this storm will be over soon. Even when public masses are put on hold, remember that masses are still celebrated daily by Priests all over the world. Be hopeful and stay safe. May God heal our world of all forms of diseases and may our mother Mary continually intercede for us. Stay safe.

Dear friends, this epidemic that has kept almost the whole world standstill, should not in anyway limit or threaten our religious beliefs and practices. The Priesthood as it were is both Divine and Human. Consequently, the obvious constraint should rather spur our hearts and minds and thus deepen our yearning for the sacricial lamb. Even as the Priest celebrates the mass alone during this period, be rest assured that he remembers your intentions.
